Bun Bo hue- it's ok. Lack flavor. Taste just like pho to me. Egg rolls has nothing but cabbage. 5 wings for $10 seems pretty high

Food is delicious: everything we had was very good. Highly recommend this place. Service is amazing! Appetizers!

The best Vietnamese restaurant ever! The taste was amazing! The meat was delicious . Normally I don't eat much meat but this one is the only I finished all the meat. The chili oil is so good and spicy. The decoration of this restaurant surprised me at the moment I walked in! It's so pretty!!! The service was good as well. Will definitely come back again for the food.

Amazing place that we go to very often! We especially love their cream cheese wontons, P5, and tofu!

Gosh i love pho! This restaurant has a bit more of the star anise flavor shining through which really went well when I added lime and chilli oil. The five spice wings have a taste similar to salt & pepper shrimp but with a bit of cinnamon to it (and possibly spice if you prefer) and came out hot and fresh!

The Bobo is the BOMB! So good, so bubble. We had some authentic dried fish that was out of this world. So good!

Love this place, one of my go to! There BBH is probably hands down one of the best. The portions are perfect and the decor is super cute.

First off, the place is really nice. It is in a diverse area. Let get into the food, the thai tea and matcha tea is super sweet. The matcha milk tea was super sweet, but it was good. It actually very thick and i was kind of surprise. The eggroll is a basic appetizer. The spicy chicken wasnt spicy. It was really good, but not spicy. The bun bo hue was actually pretty good. It doesnt have a kicker to it but the broth taste good. The pho was well, it was very beefy but it was sweet too. Services was great! Would come again !

I was super excited to see a Pho place pop up on Central Ave. This was a long time coming! The nearest authentic pho is all the way up in Spring Lake Park. The previous complaints about the interior seems to be fixed now, but it's still a neighborhood watering hole feel like the majority of Pho places in the city. It is no Hai Hai with their 1/2 million build-out. It's adequate, spacious, and inviting. The staff was courteous, attentive, and prompt. I ordered Bun Bo Hue, which is a Hue (it's a city in Vietnam) style spicy pork broth with beef, pork hock, meat pie, and Phoever did it right with the garnishes of mint, banana flower, basil, sprouts, and lime. I would rate the broth in the same league as other Suburban pho places like Pho Tan Phat, A Chau, and my favorite Pho 126. However, same with other reviewers their portion size is sorely lacking. You can see that my Bun Bo Hue bowl came half full to the table, which I was shocked considering they are charging a top price of $15 for the regular size. (They only offer one size in Bun Bo Hue.) Parking is either on the street, or a ramp around the back. I saw the sign out front about the ramp but the location of the ramp was not immediately apparent when I drove back there. Contrary to other reviewers I thought my bowl tasted just fine. It was actually above average. But the combination of the level of finish of the restaurant, portion size, inconvenient parking, and price, I thought a 4 star was fair. They do serve durian ice cream! But it's a whopping $16!!! I'll go buy my own and pay the big money at Market Fresh.

Decent place, but the Bon bue hue, they need to add more noodles! More soup than small portion of noodle. Will be first and last.

Plus with our spouses out of town it was a great excuse for a "boys night out" in downtown. Things were a bit quiet (it's January after all) but that was ok with me. We sat in a great two-person booth facing the huge bar. The restaurant features inventive cocktails so I had my usual when places have skilled bartenders-Markers Mark whiskey sour-made perfectly. The food menu features a lot of very reasonably priced fish and seafood dishes and some pricey steaks like a fillet for $88 (wow!). Sides are separate and they've got a long list of tantalizing starters too although you MUST try the amazing shrimp/avocado boats-4 crunchy little endive boats with a delicious ceviche-like mixture of tiny shrimp. Scrumptious!! And just a lite bite so you definitely have room for the fluffy grougheres with the fontina cheese dip. We tried the hanger steak-nicely prepared and the seared halibut with a Moroccan-style sauce-very interesting. For sides we loved the potato pave(square of scalloped potatoes) and the fried eggplant with a sticky honey bbq drizzle. Our server Dominica took excellent care of us a Carl did a nice job assisting-water glasses were always full (to me a mark of a well run place). Alas, as with all the spots on Washington parking can be an issue. They offer valet ($15) but I luckily found a spot on the street 1-block down. Definitely will be back soon.

I would skip St. Pierre. I went in hoping for a slightly elevated happy hour that could turn into…read moredinner if the food delivered, but the experience did not justify the price point or reputation. We arrived around 5:30 p.m., about 30 minutes after opening. The room was dark, cramped, and louder than the small space can really support. The playlist was distracting, and the kitchen staff audibly singing along did not help the atmosphere. Service was well-intentioned but missed the mark. Our server could not tell us whether the main component of a dish was cucumber, fennel, both, or something else, which is a basic menu question at this price point. Timing was off throughout the meal, so if you are expecting polished, well-paced service, I would look elsewhere. The food was the biggest disappointment. I could see an attempt at creativity, but the dishes felt more confused than composed. Several flavors landed at extremes: too sweet, too spicy, or too heavy on fishy funk, without enough balance to pull them together. It felt like "fusion" without a clear point of view. Parking is also difficult in this part of the North Loop, so plan for a ramp, valet, or extra time and money. I would not return for happy hour, dinner, a hosted meal, or a special occasion.

The fries were nicely seasoned but are definitely the kind you want to dip in ketchup to really enjoy. It came with around six pieces which was probably twice as much food as I was expecting to get. My friend had a lobster roll which looked pretty good, but for $34 it had better be. I had a taste and would say it was good but not great, which means I personally wouldn't pay $30+ for one. The guy at the register was very friendly and this place was probably going to get a 4-star review overall, but when my friend's daughter found they didn't give any sauce to go with her fried shrimp basket and he went back to the counter to ask for it, they charged him $.50 for a small plastic cup of cocktail sauce. My wife had also got a shrimp basket and theirs came with cocktail sauce. I'm really not sure what was going on, but in what universe would you sell somebody a fried shrimp meal and then charge extra for dipping sauce? It's makes no sense, and it's even wilder to see my friend getting nickel-and-dimed after he'd just spent over $50 on food for just himself and his daughter. I shouldn't have to warn you all to verify your food will come with sauce, but here we are.
