By far one of my favorite Vietnamese places in the Twin Cities to get pho. When I'm not getting pho, the fried rice is my vote for #1 in town. Service is quick and prices are great. The restaurant is clean and we've been here several times for family gatherings - a perfect lunch or dinner spot! Highly recommend.

Big lover of Thanh Vi. Branched out and tried their sesame shrimp. Super yummy! Wish the shrimp were a bit bigger though. Other than that the breading and sauce was soo good. Customer service was great and they are always on time for take out orders when we've picked up! Easy ordering online.

Good place for Viet Food. I got the bun thit, nem nuong. The nem wasn't my favorite but the thit nuong that they had was very good. Tried some of my mom's pho broth and it was good as well. What I really like is their che, especially their che ba mau (3 colored che). It's a great dessert dish. Overall it is a place I would definitely come back food. There'a some chinese dishes on the menu as well, but it is Viet owned and I've only had the Viet food here. The atmosphere is really relaxed and there are booths and tables available. The staff and owners are all very friendly as well. Great spot in Brooklyn Park

That says a lot considering that the spot that has been at the top of my list on Eat Street has been there for over two decades! I was here for my first visit yesterday and there are three big things about MT Noodles that really impressed me: 1) This place was spic and span clean! Walking in, it looked more like a bright, fresh, corporate lunchroom or college cafeteria space than someone's living room from the old country like so many of the small Vietnamese eateries I have been to in various cities around the US. 2) The staff were very helpful, friendly, and concerned about their guests. There is clearly a high amount of pride in what they are doing in operating this business. They checked on my table several times, and they were clearly concerned about my party enjoying our meals. So much so that they seemed alarmed when I got up to pay the check and there was still food left on the table. They were worried that we did not enjoy it. We had to reassure them that everything was outstanding, but we simply had poor self control and ordered too much. 3) The food was simply awesome! In portion size, cost, variety, and taste. It is easy to find a good bowl of Pho just about anywhere but rare to find authentic Bo La Lat, Bánh xèo, Nem Nuong, or Bun Cha Hanoi as they have here. There are many places that attempt to imitate but really don't succeed. This place nails it. A more authentic Bo La Lat I have not had even in Ho Chi Minh City! 5 stars for that menu rendition alone! There are only a few versions of Pho on the menu, but I can tell you that the soup here was extremely deep, Rich, beefy, and satisfying. It was full of aromatics and good to the last drop! I am really looking forward to a second visit here to surf my way around all the other great sounding menu items!

We asked for tea when we arrived, we ended up having to ask again after the food was brought out. We had to ask for silverware, which was not provided at the table. The waitress didn't come check on us to see how the food was or refill beverages. The only time she came to the table was to take the order, deliver food and drop off the bill. As for the food, they have a broad menu with many options. I ordered the cashew chicken. Lots of veggies and some chicken, it was ok. Overall was disappointed by the service and food was just ok.

They serve some Thai, some Vietnamese, and some Chinese. I prefer a place that can pick a lane rather than try to accommodate 2+ types of cuisines. The place has about 15 or so tables. Both times I came for lunch and they have a $13.95 lunch special with choice of white or fried rice and then fried wontons or egg roll. Overall, flavor profile is sweet. They also use a lot of fish sauce. I ordered the spicy chicken Thai stir fry and egg roll. Egg roll is crispy and a little on the thinner side. The stir fry was ok. My friend ordered the lunch special chicken curry which she said that she liked. This place was busy with office groups out for lunch and a few other diners. This place wouldn't be a top choice for lunch but it's decent.

I used to love the the potatoes in the beef & potatoes, the meaty eggrolls w/ the fish sauce (I miss these so much as I don't eat beef/pork anymore), oyster wings, the best wontons as well as chicken friend rice. My mom loved the egg fu young. I love that over the years the menu has pretty much stayed the same. I've gotten to see a few generations run the place and things have stayed pretty true to what I always remembered growing up. My go to order now that my diet has shifted is wontons & chicken fried rice - add med. spice and no chicken. I know chicken fried rice with no chicken sounds crazy but I don't like the veggies in the veggie rice and I really love the flavor of the chicken fried rice without the chicken. Reheating the rice at times the chicken tends to get a bit rubbery after being reheated so many times and I just don't like it but the flavor is very solid without still. They have some of the best wontons I've ever had. Slight garlic flavor to balance the sweetness of the cream cheese. if I could I would eat an eggroll.. I miss them so much! I mostly order takeout these days but have also dined in a bunch and the staff are very attentive and nice.

The soup was just hot water no flavor no seasoning nothing to make me think it was soup...just hot water. There was an egg in it, like dropped into the hot water not stirred. Egg rolls are the best egg rolls compared to anywhere. The Hot and Spicy Lemongrass chicken had no heat and no spice and I cook with lemongrass and I could detect only the more minimal taste of lemongrass in this dish and I learned to make this dish from the published recipe from the North East Que Viet on Johnson Street. There was NO WOK HEI. It tasted quite good but it was not hot and spicy lemongrass chicken. It was a nicely flavored dish with lots of onions and a seasoned dark sauce but not what I expected. Next time I'll go to the one on Johnson Street. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. It was nice inside. Parking is right outside the door in a lot. The two workers there were polite. It was very busy so people like it a lot.

We all tried all of the drinks together. Vietnamese coffee: 4/5 Definitely too sweet, good classic rich flavor Brown sugar boba: 3/5 Okay, not something I would usually order anyways but it was too milky yet still very sweet. Happy Tea: 2.5/5 The flavor was good but so sweet that I'm glad I don't get a fruit drink. It was way too much. (To clarify, I like sweet things; it just tasted like I was drinking fruit syrup) The service was great; we had a lot of questions concerning what to get and if there are alternative milks and despite a slight language barrier, they were patient, kind, and incredibly helpful! The ambiance was so cute! Definitely a little overstimulating for some but I absolutely loved the color and hanging decorations everywhere. Overall, I probably would get a viet coffee from here if I was on a pinch and really didn't want to make it at home myself but the drinks are a little too sweet for me. They also do not have alternative milk (which my friend needed for her drink so she couldn't get anything). I would still recommend trying it to someone because it's a small business and the sweetness might be perfect for you!
