Stopped here after going to Minnesota Horse Expo and will definitely go back. Food choices offered something for everyone in the group, although 3 of us ended up with the tacos! Service was fantastic, and Krissy took great care of us. Ambiance is basic sports bar.

I meet here monthly with a group of guys and our family loves Malones. It is one of my two local eateries along with Lotus that embody Maple Grove and the Northwest Metro Mr Jimmy's is a killer burger - add waffle fries and seasoned sour cream and you are in food heaven The Cobb salad is so good and the firecracker shrimp tacos will make your mouth water! Good beverage options, lots of sports on TV and a great wait staff team ! Malones is a solid choice !

Great place to come for a drink and to watch the game! TVs everywhere inside and even a couple outside! Great happy hour and the absolute best firecracker shrimp and wings out there. Can't get enough of that sauce! Service is always quick and friendly. Great regular spot but the bar fills up fast!

Great place for late night snacks! Can't go wrong with the cheese curds, chicken wings and a burger- get the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream Busy busy place was surprised to see how busy in the surburbs - great service always attentive

Malones is always such a fun time with friends, whether it's just the two of us or a bigger group of seven. The drinks, food, and service are all really great. We usually end up playing pull tabs while we hang out, and this time we actually won the $1000 jackpot plus a few smaller wins between us, which made the night even better. The flatbread we ordered was delicious. The pesto on it gave it such a nice burst of flavor. Since Malones is close to us, it's super convenient and always a good spot to just relax and have fun. There's plenty of seating but it definitely gets busy on the weekends. They have lots of screens too, so it's perfect for catching the game during sports season. We'll definitely be back!

I stopped in to Malone's for the 1st time today for lunch. Wow, what a great experience! The only thing better than the amazing warm atmosphere, and delicious food, was the great, friendly and prompt service I received from Steven the bartender. It's nice to have a friendly, professional, and interactive person as your server, and Steven nailed it! The pork chop was literally the best I've had that I can remember. I highly recommend you stop in say hello to Steven and enjoy a 1st class dining experience!

Malone's is a great local spot in Maple Grove! I got the burger, which was pretty good, and then of course waffle fries and seasoned sour cream which always slaps. I went here for my monthly book club and we had a blast. My friends are a big fan of their wraps and waffle fries! Service was pretty good. It's very much a sports bar vibe which I enjoy but probably not the best place for book club to meet, obviously! But a cool atmosphere if you wanna catch a game!

Went to Malone's for a quick bite to eat and had a great time! It was St Patrick's day so they had a variety of themed drinks and food to celebrate. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday afternoon, but we still had pretty good service. I also ordered the buffalo chicken wings and they were pretty good. Overall I thought Malone's was a good spot to grab a quick bite to eat.

    Buffalo Chicken Wrap

The Buffalo Chicken Wrap is the best thing I've ever tasted in my entire life!!! I came to Malones a couple months ago and have craved it every day since. The chicken is the perfect crispy-ness and the buffalo sauce ratio is impeccable. Nothing beats their house ranch (we ordered 3 sides of it). Not pictured but also delicious their Gin n Tonic and Cheese Curds!! Our server was so attentive and accommodating and had the best attitude even though the restaurant was so busy. Five star meal & experience every time

It was raining heavily all day, but to my surprise, this restaurant was very busy for lunch. This was my first visit with a colleague, and they exceeded expectations. We arrived at noon and did not have to wait long for a booth. The 15-minute wait was worthwhile. The service is exceptional, very friendly, and attentive. We received our drinks promptly, and the food is very good. They offer an affordable lunch menu. I ordered the fish and chips, which was delicious.

Are they Keto friendly? If so, what do they have on the menu that is Keto/low carb?

You could get something keto, but they don't have specific menu options for it. You could do the steak bites bang bang shrimp or chicken lettuce wrap appetizers.

Do they take reservations or call aheads?

    No they don't

I think this is considered a fusion restaurant, there are a mix of classic American, Asian, Italian options to choose from. I enjoy their sushi, a lot of options and made fresh right at the kitchen bar area. I've had burgers, pasta and other entrees...never been disappointed. They offer the brunch buffet for special occasions, it's a little more spendy but really good. Overall, glad they are in the Maple Grove Restaurant scene!

However, it is a little on the higher end I ended up picking tuna nigiri, the pink panther roll which is pictured below and chicken fried rice. The tuna was very tender and fatty but the rice itself just failed apart so pretty difficult to eat it cleanly. The pink panther roll was exceptional and had an aioli sauce on top that complemented the roll well. The chicken fried rice was salty but the chicken was cooked to perfection. The dish itself presented really well but just really wasn't my favorite. The saltiness was just too overpowering. The service was good but not great. Was looking for the sever to check out for quite a while. The restaurant itself was super elegant and had many high end finishes. Overall, I would come again but I would try something else for my main dish.

Unfortunately, what was meant to be a celebratory evening turned uncomfortable. Our first bartender was dismissive and unfriendly from the start. The energy felt cold and unwelcoming. Later, a different bartender stepped in and completely shifted the tone as she was warm, attentive, and actually seemed happy we were there. I genuinely appreciated her professionalism. During our visit, a patron seated near us loudly glorified his sexual experiences with Black women. While that may not be the restaurant's fault directly, it created an uncomfortable atmosphere and added to the overall feeling that the space wasn't being thoughtfully managed. To make matters worse, after finishing most of our sliders (which were ordered through the first bartender), I found hair at the bottom of the basket. Finding hair in your food is never acceptable and completely disrupted what was supposed to be a special evening. We quickly paid and left. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but the combination of dismissive service, an uncomfortable environment, and a food sanitation issue made this experience disappointing especially for a celebration. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because no one should leave a celebratory dinner feeling unsettled instead of appreciated.

The food is decent, pretty much what you would expect. I ordered the guac and roll burger, which was good but could use a little more flavor. Nothing to complain about though, just not as seasoned or spicy as I would've preferred. Overall, still a good experience, just a bit odd.

This review is going to be difficult to write because I have such mixed feelings. My last rating…read morewas a five-star review and parts of my wife's and I experience merit another five stars, but parts of the same experience merit a one-star. And that makes it difficult! Let's start with the positive... Their prime rib continues to be fantastic. It's meaty, flavorful, and juicy. After having some prime rib specials at other restaurants, I can really see that they quality varies. In addition, Dehn's dinner comes with excellent Parker-house rolls and butter, cup of au jus, and a baked potato -- all of which is good. It also comes with soup or salad. Their Beef Barley soup is one of the best version of beef barley soup that I've ever had. It's loaded with ingredients, the broth has a deep flavor and I have always enjoyed their version of it. So far, this is five star territory. However, on to the not so good... I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it was clearly medium to medium well done. Honestly, if you want medium rare, medium well done is a big disappointment. I asked the waitress for a more rare piece and when she returned she told me that the chef said the piece I got was from the center of the roast and was the rarest piece they had. Although they took $8 off the price, it was not a great experience and the meat just could have been much more juicy and tasty if they had cooked it properly. But there is more. My wife order the fried chicken and for the third time in a row, they said they didn't have it. (Dehn's, if you don't carry it, either take it off the menu or tell your guests about it before they order). My wife went with the grilled chicken breast, which arrived looking like and tasting like either a frozen piece of chicken, or a bad airline meal (for those of you who can remember that). It was really tasteless and dry. In addition to all of that, we waited 15 minutes to be seated in the nearly empty restaurant because (we were told) they were short staffed. In fact, there seemed to be one waitress and one kitchen staff person for the restaurant. Service was slow (although friendly by the person who wasn't really a waitress). So what's up with Dehn's? The area around the restaurant is turning from farm land to housing. The hours of the restaurant have been cut severely and they are now only open for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. My gut tells me that they are "caretaking" the restaurant and that although they have been open since 1958, I doubt they are going to see 2028.
