My favorite spot in Maple Grove. Bar is clean and well kept. Food is amazing and staff is great! Great TV setup for watching games.

This has recently become one of my frequented spots! They have a great outdoor patio space along with their indoor seating. The food is very good, with a lot of variety across various cuisines. I also feel like the menu price point is very compelling with a lot of entrees landing around the $15 mark. Service staff has been friendly across my several visits, and I certainly enjoy the ambiance of sitting outside when the weather allows it. Indoors is alright, but it's pretty TV heavy, and their main content wall is 4 TV's stitched together as one screen which leaves some gnarly cross hairs on the content. We have eaten here several times now. Doing both take out and dine in and would say it's a great place for bar food and some drinks. We have found the service staff to be friendly and good and late night it does seem to be a younger crowd and the bar area gets a bit louder but it's a good energy. Also for take out they have a dedicated spot where you just walk in and pickup your food and leave. So very convenient. read more

Food was great. Went on St Patrick's Day. Excellent corned beef and cabbage. Loved the sauce served with the corned beef. It was the special and so glad my friends picked this restaurant. It was pretty noisy. We did go right at noon so next time after the lunch rush would be a bit quieter. Nice portion of food. I'll appreciate my left overs tomorrow. The staff was excellent. Friendly host and very attentive waitress. She was very busy and did a fantastic job. She never ignored us and kept close tabs on beverages and anything we needed. Ate at Malones for the first time and I can see why they are so busy! The food was excellent. We tried the cheese curds as an appetizer and it was enough to share among the 3 of us. Malones is always such a fun time with friends, whether it's just the two of us or a bigger group of seven. The drinks, food, and service are all really great. We usually end up playing pull tabs while we hang out, and this time we actually won the $1000 jackpot plus a few smaller wins between us, which made the night even better. The flatbread we ordered was delicious. The pesto on it gave it such a nice burst of flavor. Since Malones is close to us, it's super convenient and always a good spot to just relax and have fun. There's plenty of seating but it definitely gets busy on the weekends. They have lots of screens too, so it's perfect for catching the game during sports season. We'll definitely be back! read more

The only thing better than the amazing warm atmosphere, and delicious food, was the great, friendly and prompt service I received from Steven the bartender. I ordered the cranberry turkey melt and really enjoyed it--the turkey was fresh and flavorful, and the cranberry added just the right touch of sweetness. Hello I have been meaning to write this for a while. I am in a relationship that she can only eat certain foods. Granny salad is her favorite. I love the Bria tacos. It is a fun place with pull tabs, and a large bar, free popcorn and restaurant. The food is quite good, reasonably priced and consistent. My only problem is the waiting area and getting seated. The system does not work when they get busy. On one particular night it was incredibly busy, like standing room only. Im not sure what happened but we waited like 45 minutes and had a show to go to that particular night, so it was like should we leave or stay... one of those situations. We stayed, I got angry and voiced my concerns to the very young hosts at the counter... kept getting different times for the wait.... very frustrating. I voiced my concerns to a woman manager who was very accommodating. They comped our meal! Wow, how impressive. She did the right thing. Usually you just get lip service. I wish I got her name but the really impressed me being a manager in the past myself. She made it happen. Malone's is a great local spot in Maple Grove! I got the burger, which was pretty good, and then of course waffle fries and seasoned sour cream which always slaps. I went here for my monthly book club and we had a blast. My friends are a big fan of their wraps and waffle fries! Service was pretty good. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap is the best thing I've ever tasted in my entire life!!! I came to Malones a couple months ago and have craved it every day since. The chicken is the perfect crispy-ness and the buffalo sauce ratio is impeccable. Nothing beats their house ranch (we ordered 3 sides of it). Malone's is bang average. Typical American bar food. Buffalo boneless wings were good. Spicy and good nicely. Pretzel with cheese was good for what it is. Good amount of salt on pretzel and queso is fine. Buffalo chicken wrap with waffle fries. Wrap was good. Fries were hot and fresh but very salty on this visit. Lastly though, the broiled walleye was not good. 2 filets was $23. No flavor and whatever oil/margarine something that they cook it in was all you could taste and it wasn't good. Adding salt, pepper and lemon couldn't help it. Not worth the money at all. Atmosphere is good, typical sports bar. I have been wanting to try Malone's for a very long time. When my friend and I decided to get together for dinner, we decided on Malone's. We got there around 5:30pm on a Friday and the place was already packed. They don't take reservations so first come first serve. We waited about 40 minutes before we got seated which wasn't bad considering how busy it was. It was really loud in there, not the greatest place to take kids. Service was really good. Our server was amazing, wish I could remember her name. My friend ordered the Jambalaya and it was a little too spicy for her so she was just picking on it. Our server noticed it and asked her to pick something else out of the menu so she can eat. She didn't get charged for the first entree either. To me the menu seemed underwhelming. Nothing screamed" try me". My friend ordered the Chicken Terriyaki sandwich the second time and I ended up getting the firecracker chicken wrap. My friend seemed to like her sandwich. My wrap was good but nothing to rave about. With the name firecracker Chicken you would think it would be somewhat spicy. Not even a little spicy. We were a party of three who dines in. My son's burger was made to order and it was very good, exactly as ordered, flavorful beef, melted cheese and if course, bacon. My wife had the special pastrami sandwich with fries which was also very good. The waffle fries on plates were crispy, not soggy and were served hot. Excellent. I ordered the Southwest Salad which was AMAZING. The chicken was properly grilled and oh so moist! It sat on a bed of slaw which was not overdone but with a hint of sweetness that married with the brown rice and guacamole and black beans very well. The avocado dressing was perfect.
