First time at RedStone. I've had--and still have--the privilege of working and traveling through many countries and visiting many restaurants, which gives me a bit of an edge, in addition to being an amateur chef, when it comes to distinguishing between good and bad food and service. RedStone is a very pleasant place to go for dinner, with unparalleled service and a very pleasant vibe. The dishes are beautifully presented and the recipes are delicious. I have to admit that I wasn't going to try the sauce that comes with the sea bass. The menu says "Vinaigrette." But that set off a red flag. Vinaigrette is very common. But... the manager asked me to try it. So I did. I wouldn't really call it a vinaigrette. It's a sauce made with very rich balsamic vinegar--mild, yet with the full power of the balsamic--served warm. A high-quality sauce that pairs very well with the sea bass. Not to mention the vegetables and the basmati rice. The bread pudding is absolutely the best I've ever tasted. It's very hard to find a pudding this soft and moist. One more thing you don't come across very often. I ordered a double espresso. They brought it to me--and hallelujah--in an espresso cup. Perfectly at the right temperature. See you later. read more

Yes I'm back with another review because this is by far one of my favorite and go to spots for a date night! We went for an early valentines dinner and it was so worth it. I have always had great food here but last night was a joke. The mashed potatoes tested so bad and the fish they recommended smelled and tested so so bad. The food for sure wasn't fresh. The worst food I have ever had hands down. I returned the food and told them that I didn't like the food. A person came out to ask why I didn't like it. I don't even remember if the person even apologized tbh. Waiter was great offered a free desert but I didn't care for more food at that point. read more

My family and I visit Redstone regularly, the buffalo shrimp and old fashion has always been one of my favorite menu items. However, during my last two visits, I ordered a steak and was disappointed both times. The first time, I ordered a New York strip, and the second time, a ribeye. On both occasions, the steaks were very dry and lacked flavor, to the point that I had to send them back. What concerned me even more was my experience last night when the manager came to check on my meal. Instead of introducing himself or asking how everything was, he stood behind me silently until I noticed him and turned around. The interaction felt uncomfortable and awkward for both me and my entire party. I made it clear that I was not looking for a free meal. In fact, I told him I was willing to pay for both steaks and even take the original one home. My only request was that the meal be prepared to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I've always enjoyed coming to Redstone, which makes this especially frustrating. Based on these recent experiences, particularly the way the issue was handled, I do not plan on returning. I wanted to share this feedback in hopes that it helps improve the experience for future guests. read more

The service to has always been good at Redstone. They are very attentive. The place has nice decor and is clean but could be a tad dark during the evening. The entrees are pretty well priced but the starters are way overpriced. I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls (two egg rolls cut in half to make four) were trash! Like rotel in an egg roll. I ordered the braised short rib with asparagus and mash potatoes...It was like a soup so the mash potatoes dissolved...Literally. Please just know your mash potatoes will blend in with the broth to make a creamy broth smh. The dish also lacked seasoning but it has potential just needed some serious revamping. Cut up potatoes would have been better. The short rib was very tender though! read more

So many good places and I am sure M-F this may be a wondeful place but the several time we have gone (Sunday's at noon with res) and the service is always sub-par, never asking for deserrt mixng up order all in all Good food but service is better at an only Denny's for sure. Went here for Sunday brunch. We made a reservation, but it was not necessary as there was plenty of open seating. This is my friend ms favorite spot. We both go the redstone all you can eat brunch. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and fruit. All of which can be re ordered. Was 19.99$ great deal! The food was how ever too salty for me! But the fruit was fresh. I recently came here for brunch with a group. The decor is dark and gives off a very cozy and intimate vibe that I like. Though it was a bit cool inside the day I was there , it was also quite chilly outside, so that could have contributed. The brunch menu has many great options. I went with the Chef's Brunch because it seemed to have a little of everything. The hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, and fruit salad were all wonderful! The scrambled eggs tasted good, but they had a cheese cooked into them that created kind of an odd texture that I didn't love. The coffee was delicious, and they had sugar lumps - big fan. The reason for 4 stars is that the Chef's Brunch is supposed to be complimentary additional serving, but the waitress never asked if we wanted anything more when clearing our initial plates. She continuously checked on us to make sure we were good on drinks but didn't ask about food. I did ask for some additional french toast, but it felt very weird having to ask instead of being offered. It almost felt like they didn't want you to get what you paid for. read more

Amazing staff, fantastic food, and awesome restaurant! My fiancé and I had a reservation for 4:30, but we got to the restaurant a little early. The hostess was very pleasant and nice, and said there was no problem getting us in early. Our waiter attended to us right away and was very friendly. He was attentive the whole time we were there, clearing finished dishes right away and refilling drinks. We ordered the breaking bread for our starter, and it was very delicious. The bread was soft and warm, and I really enjoyed the Garlic Butter, Basil Pesto, and Cauliflower Artichoke Dip it came with. My fiancé ordered the rotisserie chicken, and I ordered the parmesan crusted walleye. It was so fresh and tasted delicious. The only thing I would note is that we sat right by the bar, and I did overhear the bartender swearing a couple of times within earshot of other patrons. It isn't a big deal, but if I had children with, I wouldn't have been very happy. Overall, I really enjoyed the food here and will definitely return. read more

We went for the Thanksgiving buffet. It was $60 per person which included a drink (soda/tea, etc.). It was an exceptional experience. They had all the standard hot items, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, delicious roasted veggies, etc. There was a carving station with turkey, ny strip and shrimp cocktail. They also has unique items like salmon, pigs in a blanket, Buffalo cauliflower, fruit, chicken tenders, just to name a few. Buffet was setup mostly along the bar, with the same stuff on both sides to split crowd. It flowed well and never felt crowded. Dessert had pumpkin and pecan pie, cheesecake, cookies, etc. Everything was delicious. Redstone uses really quality ingredients. We all agreed that while everything was great the best thing of the night was the gravy. It was sooooooo good. They bring it to your table from the back. I think we went through 5 or 6 portions, it was that good. Best gravy we've ever had. Service was good. We sat in the bar area. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back next year. read more

We loved this restaurant. We came in for a late lunch and got seated immediately. It was a cold day but cozy with the smell of roasting chicken. Our server was friendly and quick to get what we needed. We started with the bread and three spreads. I really liked the jam my husband enjoyed the butter. I ordered the spicy Thai noodles with fried cauliflower. I got mine without the spicy pepper but it still had a nice kick. My husband got the margarita pizza. Not a restaurant we'd normally go to, but it was a work meal so... we went! Was told they are known for their wood fired rotisserie chicken, so we split the chicken sandwich. You know how when something has been in the rotisserie too long and it gets mushy? That was the texture. The rest was good but definitely not amazing or worth the price of admission ($17!). The crispy green beans were OK. Way too much heavy breading, but super tasty dipping sauce. The bread plate was amazing - I'd never have paired garlic butter and fig jam but I had trouble stopping... so good! Service was good, attentive, and my drink was never empty. My wife had to ask for a refill and then steal my water. We did not opt for the $13 no bake cheesecake dessert. That can't be real, can it? Took a few colleagues to this location for a convenient meal, and was pleasantly surprised. This salad was a beautiful blend of sweet and savory which kept me wanting more. The bacon was meaty and the golden raisins were a nice touch. The portion was very large compared to the size of alternate entrees. I would order this again. I liked the large bacon bits and tangy sauce on the sprouts. Minnesota is known for their freshwater walleye so I ordered the parmesan crusted walleye to try. It was a very tender white fish, and I liked that the parmesan crust was light and not overwhelming on the fish. The lemon caper sauce was so good with the fish and I wish they put more on the plate. The mashed potatoes were decent, but more sour than I'd like. Overall, I had a good experience here but the food was pretty pricey for the portions. read more

We enjoyed a half order of the Brussels sprouts seared with candied bacon and a nice Asian serachi sauce. Our dinners included the turkey burger with tasty garlic mashed potatoes and a Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich with very good fries. The sandwiches were big, each included a lot of add one that made them a little unmanageable. We boxed half of each and took them home for another day. It was a pleasant evening experience.
