The new Hawaiian Bowl- it tasted just as good as it looks!

I absolutely love going to Clive's! The new menu items are always great- and the service is so wonderful!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Honestly 3.5 stars is what this place deserves. 4 stars for the staff. The staff weren't overbearing, they were knowledgeable, respectful, and completed our orders as asked for. Only real knock on the staff was where we were sat, which was directly by another table, in a corner. I'm sure that they were dishing up the tables as people came in so the servers all had tables so that's not really a knock at all. The corner just felt cramped. The parking lot had plenty of open spaces when we were there but I've seen the place absolutely swamped before so I don't really think there's enough room to accommodate on a busy day. It's also very small between the isles and can be crowded with more than one person leaving. The table and chairs were good. Bathroom was clean. Bar area was large and prices were reasonable. Pretty much everything on the menu, apps included (outside of happy hour) is 15-17 dollars. The tough part about going to a bar and grill that offers so many things is that the variety sometimes takes away from the taste. My burger was average. Spicy, kind of, but just heat without a lot of flavor. Highly recommend the apps at happy hour pricing though because those seem to have more flavor for the price. The waffle fries were anemic in every sense of the word, but the seasoned sour cream was good. One last thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the lack of menu for the tap beers. The waiter, knew them by heart, she was fantastic, but it's just odd to me to not have a tap list or QR code to see what's on tap. Overall liked the rustic feel, didn't like the corner, and enjoyed the server. Food was so/so, but, wasn't completely disappointed.

Beef tips are always tender and one of our favorites!

Consistently good food with well trained friendly staff. The atmosphere is energized and welcoming!

Mac & Cheese with steak

I have been to Clive's before and it is always good. This time I was with friends for our book club. I got the mac n cheese with steak bites for the first time and it was pretty good. The steak was a little tough but overall good. Service was pretty quick and we had a great time catching up. They have a lot of different menu items, so something for everyone, and I tend to order something new every time.

Dirty tables around us.

Honestly, this place has gone down hill in recent years. Boneless wings - 1/5 Hard as a rock. Way over cooked. BBQ pulled pork sandwich - 2/5 BBQ sauce was ok and fried onions add nice crunch but otherwise very average. Cheeseburger - 1/5 Got burger with blue cheese. Burger was dry and flavorless. Blue cheese had no flavor. Way overcooked. Walleye - 3/5 Simply grilled. Was good. Biggest issue, when we sat down we could visibly see 8 tables around us that were not cleaned after previous customers left. And by the time we left those tables were still dirty and there were even a few more that were not cleaned. It doesn't take much effort to clean a table. If you walk by you grab something on your way. Its not very appetizing as a customer to be sat with filth around you.

Most relaxed and casual restaurant I've ever experienced. Definitely Roadhouse vibes. It's a huge place inside with an awesome, giant bar in the center. All the staff is super friendly, fast, and works as a team. The food is regularly "home cookin'" on a large scale, nothing fancy, but it tastes great. The portion sizes are very large. The drinks are STRONG. The seating is comfortable, but it is veru, very which makes conversation difficult.

Good lunch choice! Good service from our server, Paige. Sandwiches & salads & soups were great! I liked the Whiskey-Bleu Steak Salad. Not a fancy vibe but comfortable/fun atmosphere.

Went to Clive's for lunch today and had a pleasant experience :) The property was well taken care of and had plenty of parking spaces. I noticed right away they had a deck that overlooked a small pod with a fountain and decided to sit outside with my boys. There were umbrellas on the tables to keep you shaded, which was nice. The inside was also nice and had lots of wood accents. The relaxed atmosphere allows for comfortable clothing and you definitely don't need to be dressed up to come here. The hostess was very friendly and our server came right away. Our food came out when it was supposed to and the server did get us our drink refills when asked. Service overall was fine. The food was comparable to an Applebees or Cowboy Jacks. They has burgers, pastas, sandwiches, wraps ect..We started with the cheese curds which were perfectly melty and cheesy! The sauce was delicious and smokey! My boys enjoyed their chicken tenders served with the good ranch (you know what I mean haha!) and the waffle fries were seasoned well. The Buffalo chicken wrap was tasty and was filled well with chicken! Lots of flavor! The tater tots were very crispy and some were almost dry. I love a good tater tot that is crisp on the outside but fluffy on the inside, so there were a bit too crunchy for me. Overall, this would be a good date spot, meet up with friends or just to grab a bite by yourself. They do have app and drink specials through out the week, definitely check it out!

Walleye fingers

Loved the wild rice soup & walleye fingers. Great service and outdoor patio ambiance. Fun place to meet for lunch.

Cheese Curds, Clive's Nachos, Waffle Fries

Came at 5:20pm for happy hour on a Thursday night and was sat within minutes! (a table for 2). Ordered all happy hour food, cheese curds, beef nachos, and waffle fries with seasoned sour cream. Portions are large and it came out fast with it being so busy. The sauce that came with the cheese curds wasn't that great, would ask for ranch or ketchup instead. The waffle fries were crispy and the seasoned sour cream was perfect. The nachos came with a side of salsa and sour cream, they were very good.

Chicken avocado salad was really good
Randy D.

Came in for a business lunch. Was fairly busy but we sat and were served pretty quickly I had the avocado chicken chop salad. If was really good. I was surprised by how much I liked it. Some folks had burgers, a chicken sandwich and a walleye sandwich and everyone enjoyed their meal. Salad had a lot of dressing and was really good. The salad had some hard chunks in it and Inwasnt sure if they were Brussels sprouts or they left the core of the lettuce in but other than that it was good.

Had dinner at Clive's on a nice Sunday evening. We sat out on the patio, which had a nice view of a fountain in a little lake. I was pleased to see Clive's had a summer drink menu. I ordered the 169 Cooler and Hard Lemonade. Both were sweet and refreshing and great for summer! For an entree, I ordered the Mac and cheese with a side salad. The salad is a good size given the price! I am a huge mac and cheese fan, and I live for a creamy Mac loaded with cheese! Though the flavor was great, I was hoping for a bit more cheese sauce. There really wasn't anything to dip my breadstick in. That being said, it still tasted very good. Next time I'll ask for extra cheese sauce! Service was friendly and the food was good. It might not be among my top-tier favorites but I would definitely go back here and try some more menu items. Clive's is more affordable than many restaurant options (most of the cocktails were under $10!), which is also a huge plus. I look forward to my next visit and trying something new!

Lupulin Imperial Stout

Super solid location "chain" restaurant with a few locations scattered throughout town. The fare is what you would expect from a roadhouse/country style restaurant. A, what could be, overwhelming large menu featuring tons of burgers, sandwiches, and wraps as well as comfort food entrees like Mac and Cheese. All at reasonable prices. There is a healthy mix of domestic beer, rotating local crafts, as well as national favorites on tap. The house cocktail list is fun and all the drinks are consistent and well executed. Service is always friendly and prompt. Food always comes out pretty quick. There is also an abundant amount of TVs making it a perfect spot to watch the game... or the bachelor (literally was on one night).

Slow to arrive at the table, cold chips, fair taste

I also recommend booking at least a week in advance. A friend said they couldn't go on said date on a Wednesday. I looked for that upcoming weekend and the weekend was sold out. FOOD: The food was delicious. Despite the tray looks small, I was full halfway in. I have no concerns or complaints of their food. Every pastries, sandwiches, and dessert were delicious. My favorite was the apple chai scone. I love their lemon curd. I love everything on their savory course. I haven't tried the dessert yet. I had to take it home because I had leftovers. The tea was delicious too! It is unlimited. They bring a pot to you. I tried the Mad Hatter Holiday (cinnamon, clove, cranberry & orange) and French Creme Brulee. Out of the two, my favorite was the Mad Hatter Holiday. The Creme Brulee was too weird for me as a tea. They offered sugar cubes, creme, and honey too. PARKING: They had a decent size parking lot on their property, as well as across the street. DRESS CODE: On their website, they mention tasteful, on the side of overdressed. I saw children in sundresses. Women wore jeans with a nice shirt. One guest had a gothic/rocker vibe with her black shirt, pleather skirt, tights, and boots. STAFF: Friendly, approachable, and professional.

The room where you order is so well decorated and fun! The whole house is pretty delightful and charming. We got the hot blackberry chai latte, a hot crème brûlée tea, and the crème brûlée latte, plus an orange scone. All were absolutely delicious! They have a separate dining room for high tea, which I'll be back for! It sounds like you need a reservation for that. Plenty of parking available!

Pour is in a little strip mall. They have added black curtains and some cozy seating areas from when we were here last. Nice updates. Our waitress was very accomdating until she got busy then we felt we were forgotten. We ordered the Drunken shrimp , bread with olive oil and the avocado toast to start with. The drunken shrimp is just as good as we remember the saffron sauce is sooooo good! but there were 3 of us sharing the apps and it only came with 2 crostini's we asked for a 3rd so we could each have one but little did we know that one very small skinny piece of bread had a $1.00 charge to it. The steak bites with their homemade blue cheese sauce was to die for melt in your mouth!! I even asked if we could buy some of the blue cheese sauce, she said no but that she would bring us another dish of it but she never did. My girlfriend ordered a cranberry mule drink, she was charged an extra $1.00 for the cranberry. We also ordered the goat cheese with sauces that were very delicious with an ample amount of crackers. We got the chocolate Ganache cake to share for dessert. But............ the waitress never took our empty dirty plates but showed up with the dessert with the mess on table, I asked for extra clean plates but she never brought them. Everything we ordered was very delicious, but as the night progressed our service got worse, we asked for the bill but she never came back to get our payment and we had questions my girlfriend walked it up to the bartender with our payments. 2 of us were paying cash and one a credit card and we were charged an extra fee of $5.18 for her using a credit card. That is when we saw the $1.00 charge for 1 piece 3/8" bread and the $1.00 for cranberry mule. Talk about nickel and diming. We would love to go back but unsure if I can get past some of these things. Also, now looking at the bill even closer, none of us had a mimosa and we were charged $8.95 for one.How did we miss that? All added up we paid $16.00 more than we should have. CRAZY!! Sadly, Don't know if I'll be back.
