Shooters Saloon And Eatery - Shooters in St. Cloud - Sports Bars Near Me - Saint Cloud, Minnesota

This is a very pleasant somewhat working class bar with good drinks and above average food. I went there twice during my stay in St Cloud and both times were enjoyable. The patty melt was delicious, even though the bread was a little on the thick side. Their hamburgers have excellent flavor.I plan to go back there if I'm in the area again. They are well known for their bloody Mary's. It comes with about 4 to 5 things on top of the drink that could be a small meal in itself. The prices are reasonable for what you get. read more

Extremely poor service. My wife works in the service industry and occasionally we go out for a drink at the end of the night. Shooters bar is very close to our residence, so it is a nice option for us. We arrived and the atmosphere was pleasant, the energy was positive and friendly. Bar hours state open until 2:00AM and several times we have arrived shortly after 1:00 only to feel rushed out of the bar by the staff. I would recommend you change the hours of operation if you are not planning to stay open. This evening, we arrived at 1:15 and when we walked up to the bar, we were told that it was last call. The service was rushed amd impersonal, and servers were clearing glassware before the empty glasses were even set down. The owner initiated closing activities telling a full bar of people to leave fifteen minutes before close. Maybe the crowd is typically slow to move, but as a patron, it was not the kind of experience I wanted for myself or my wife. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

This place is amazing!!!! Not one bad thing to say. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Great owner. Very welcoming. A must go to.

I love me a dive bar. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I learned about a "meat raffle." The service was super friendly and the prices so low!!! Definitely would return and hang out! read more

Great kitchen staff!! Been here twice in the last month (ordering the same item) and both times have been just perfect. Same great consistent quality both times. And some of the nicest waitresses in town!! My ONLY negative comment is that as a the constant smell of cigarette smoke coming in from right outside the door isn't my favorite. read more

horrible service the owners of this restaurant treat their employees like crap and can't pay them a livable wage. I knew somebody working there, gave them a three month notice that they would be moving out of the area and they were fired that night! when they requested their last check, they hadn't received it for over two weeks when the employee requested it again they created issues and told the employee that if they were to come pick up their check that the police would be called. These owners and the boss David are immature and unprofessional. This restaurant tells their employees that they are part of a family, makes them feel at home, and respected but when they want anything else for their life, like a livable wage they are fired. I know this review won't stay up for long because the bosses and owners are sitting behind the computer deleting any comments that negatively affect their business when in reality people should know the truth about the restaurants they're supporting, especially when they shouldn't even be open. If you plan to go there, good luck I wouldn't try any of their food none of it is good. NOT A PLACE YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE!!!!! read more

Do not be fooled. I drove past this place hundreds of not thousands of times and thought no way. Nope. No chance. Then a friend of mine got me to go. My life has forever changed. I wish I could relive the first time I went there. Burgers? A little too good... The fries? Stupid good. The place is amazing. Staff is great. Food is INSANE. read more

Ate here every night I was in town for work Ranking my burgers 1. German burger. Best cooked patty I've had in a while 2. Hawaiian burger. 3. Cajun burger. Wasn't overly flavorful but still good Best bloody I think I've had in MN read more

Food is pretty good, Bloody Mary's though are exceptional! In my top three places to get a Bloody Mary in St Cloud. Whatever you choose to eat get the onion rings, they are yummy! read more

If you're the type of person who thinks sports bar food is substandard, Shooters will change your mind. Not only is the menu above average, some items are the best I've had in any restaurant. The blue cheese burger is hand packed, well seasoned, cooked to be tender on the inside and slightly charred outside. On top of that it comes on a daily fresh bun from Dutch Maid. The chicken wings with dry rub are so outstanding that we had to ask for the recipe. Apparently, the rub has 17 seasonings. Finally, the club sandwich is excellent. The bacon is thick cut and not fatty. The deli meat is plentiful. And, krinkle cut fries are good. It's more food than you expect. Enough about the food. Can we talk about the staff? They are the nicest people you'll ever meet, and you feel very well taken care of the entire time you are there. Our kids are the ones that want to go to shooters because of the special touches (fresh baked cookies on Friday; a trip behind the counter to pick out candy etc.) I travel the country almost weekly and I'm almost never as satisfied as I am after a trip here. It isn't fancy or some overblown foodie joint. It's just damn good food from really awesome people. I highly recommend! read more

This is by far the Greatest Bar & Grill I've ever been to. The service is absolutely unmatched. Living in the twin cities now, I always compare service to Shooters, and I've yet to find a place that comes close. The food is the best bar food I've been able to find. Great Burgers, Sandwiches, Dinner Specials, and Pizza. And without a doubt they have the best deep fried food I've had at any restaurant. Even if you're just in the mood for a drink after a long day's work this is THE place to go to. Maybe that's the reason I've patroned this business for the last 7 years. Skip the cookie cutter Bdubs, Fridays, or Applebees. You'll thank me. read more

Shooters Saloon And Eatery - the outside of the building - Sports Bars Near Me - Saint Cloud, Minnesota

The staff here, both front and back of house, always makes me feel welcome, and I'm a flippin' wierd kid. That being said, I also find fellow weirdos here on a regular basis. It's an unlikely den of St. Cloud oddities, in the best way. You'd think that we'd find each other downtown, but you'd be wrong. Be aware: personalities can and do clash here, but never in a "bar fight" kind of way, and never before 10:00pm. It's moreso reminiscent of olde timey saloonish gentlemanly arguments... Or a table full of nurses clashing with a scientist. (Personal account) I decided to come to Yelp tonight to write this review specifically because the staff cared enough about me to make sure my overemotional drunk ass did not drive myself home. They care. They care about food quality, they source their meat locally, and they genuinely, personally, care about their patrons. Also, their burgers are flawless. read more

I stop here from time to time for lunch during the work week. The service is always good and they do a nice job getting you in and out quickly. Food is always good. I get the same thing pretty much every time. Chicken tender sandwich with cheese/bbq sauce. Always good! read more

If I lived in St. Cloud I think Shooters would be my bar. I'd be a regular here. When you walk through the door the owner?/ bartender?/manager? (He's always there) shouts "Hello!". It's a small place with a big porch out front for smokers. I hate smoking, but if I did this place would be a dream. Inside the music is jamming, the beer is cheap, there's plenty of TV'S, good food, a dart board, and cardboard crack! (Pull tabs) Nightly specials include Tuesday Bingo, Saturday Meat Raffle, and food specials like a meat loaf sandwich. I've been 3-4 times for dinner with my Parents and the service is always good and the manager has been known to hand out candy to the young ones. I think for a super casual, small town bar/restaurant they are doing things to differentiate themselves which is noticed and appreciated. The food is on point too. Great burgers, chicken sandwiches, fried foods, etc. I simply like how this place operates. They understand who they are and deliver it simply and better than anyone else in the area. read more

My husband and I had just finished lunch and were waiting on some service for a vehicle, so, we decided to stop at Shooters for a beer. My husband put a $10. on the bar and we order 2 tall tap mgl's. The bartender then said it's $12.00...I almost fell over and asked her, $12.00??? That's right..she doesn't make the prices..I have heard the food was good there and I looked at the menu and thought the prices were about average..might try food sometime ,but, will Never stop there for a beer again..or order one with a meal..PS..I went to Malones in Maple Grove, last night, ordered a tall 25oz.mgl $4.50..(not happy hour)and fabulous food.. read more

Extremely rude Bartenders!!! Take this story as you may think but a group of us decide to go out for a few drinks. Keep in mind this was our first destination so no we were not drunk and yes I remember this night clearly. We arrived at the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered a shock top and right away a man sitting at the bar started harrasing my friends girl friend. He was extremely rude and drunk so I warned him to back off. Bartender must have got agitated I stood up to one of her regulars that was clearly intoxicated and she dumps my drink that she just poured and proceeds to order me to get out of the bar. The other bartender was shocked that she freaked out the way she did but did nothing about it. Well we all walked out and yes it almost made for a bad night but we decided to go to G Allens and that place turned the night around for the better. Amazing food beer selection and customer service without the local drunks. Later on my friend decided to go back and investigate the cause of there poor attitudes at shooters. He said he is friends with the owner and talked to him. The owner explained a completely different story that the bartender explained to him explaining that there was a fallen veterans drink at the table and I had come in and helped myself to it. And I was rude and drunk waving gang signals.lol this was far from the truth but I will never go back again and hold true to this story as there were many witnesses that saw this unfold. The owner and bartender will have to apologize to me in person and everyone that was there that night. But doubt they ever will. Don't think they know the power of the internet and reviews. But anyways G allens. Great food,friendly/clean atmosphere and great drinks. Sad thing about it is i live a few blocks away from shooters but now I'd much rather drive to any other place then them. The Alamar is another good place if you don't mind driving a little more to get to st.augusta. read more

Friendly staff, cozy environment, delicious eats and drinks, what's not to like? I'll be going back for more sometime soon, and I'll most definitely be bringing friends read more

Small bar with great food, service and prices. The waitresses don't seem to take certain table sections so you get many waitresses checking in on you- which can be nice but a little annoying. I've had several sandwiches and enjoyed them all. One evening a group of friends and I were asked to move tables so the DJ could set up- no big deal at all!- The owner gave us free shots to say "thank you" for moving. Great to sit on the patio when the weather is warm. read more

Shooters has great food! Lunch specials are excellent and cheap. They don't skimp on your food, give you enough to fill you up! Great atmosphere, great waitresses, great food! read more

Superior service! The food is excellent! Quick service. Large portions. Very friendly staff

This is a nice little bar, try the steak sandwich l, it's my fave! Good service and drinks. Owner is very nice and friendly too.

I wish I could rank it a zero. I have been kick out of bars before but this is a new one. My group of friends got kicked out because we smelled. We farted and the bartender/waitress was so disrespectful about it. My friend doesn't have her gull bladder so she can't hold it. They were so inconsiderate and disrespected, we will not be back. If you want to get treated like crap then shooters is your place to go! read more

I highly recommend Shooters. The staff are very friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. If you want a great burger, shooters is your place. But needless to say you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have a comfortable outdoor patio you can enjoy in the summer and if you're feeling lucky, pull tabs as well! read more

Stopped here while passing through town. Had their "Rachel", a Reuben sandwich with turkey instead of beef; oftentimes I've seen these referred to as a "California Reuben". Very tasty and got a large order of fries as a side. Tried a few brews they had on tap that I can't get in Michigan. My only minus was it's a bit loud, which wasn't a problem as I was by Myself. read more
