Amazing local breakfast spot. I love that they are open at 7:30am to get your breakfast bright and early. The food portions are just right - not too much and very satisfying. They do a great job in their presentation of their food too! And the taste matches the presentation. Service is attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Cozy interior seating and nice outdoor seating overlooking Colorado blvd. In a very short time, it has become our go-to weekend breakfast spot.

Cute!!!! Stopped here for a nourishing meal before spending the day walking around the Pasadena convention center, and this was absolutely the right move. This little space was packed with a line to order and that told me everything I needed to know. I unknowingly ordered the largest Matcha beverage I have ever attempted to drink and it was so very perfect. I dream about this. The food was fresh and hearty, and I'm ashamed to say I didn't even eat it all.. This small café is a hidden gem and will be my new pre-convention center tradition!

Staff was very friendly . You order inside an if you choose to eat there they bring the food to you. Got the breakfast burrito with turkey bacon , it was good but nothing extraordinary . That's all I got , but they seemed to have a lot of yummy drinks.

Delicious brunch option that I wish I knew about earlier!! Old Town Caffe is both a low-key and popular, affordable option for brunch with super nice staff. The serving sizes were huge-great for sharing! The Caesar salad wrap and waffle slices were delicious! Those waffles were the best I've had in SoCal. I loved the London Fog too; they make the best version! Came on a Thursday morning at 9 am and was able to get a table for 2 without a wait. The rush starts picking up around 10 am.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch spot in Pasadena! The location might be easy to miss, but it's located upstairs on the 2nd floor of a plaza above hummus labs and Chams. It has the Urth Cafe vibe- similar food options but also American breakfast offerings like eggs, toast, and bacon/sausage. I had chicken quesadilla for breakfast and loved it. Also really love that they can make an Iced cortado.

This place is a hidden gem. But maybe not so hidden since so many people were there? You order at the counter and then sit down and they serve you. We started with giant coffees in real mugs. That's always a plus! My husband loved his pb yogurt bowl. He said he would have added more pb. My gluten free breakfast sandwich was probably in my top 5 gf sandwiches of all time. What a delicious find! It's a hole in the wall but so good. Will be back!

Some friends and I met up for lunch at Old Town Caffe and had a great experience! We visited on a weekday and we were seated right away. They have a variety of menu options like acai bowls, wraps, and sandwiches and they serve breakfast all day! I went with the American breakfast with bacon instead of ham and it was good! The potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. There's a free parking lot on Mentor Ave, just head up the ramp. A solid spot for a casual breakfast or lunch.

One of my favorite brunch places in Pasadena! Small hole in the wall, located in a plaza on the second floor. It's not normally busy since it's tucked away but I hear it can get busy Sunday mornings after church. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, especially with my toddler. The interior is on the smaller side but there is also seating on the patio. Surprisingly, the food is amazing here. You honestly can't go wrong with anything you order, and the portions are huge! Their coffee is always good, as well. I love taking friends and family whenever they visit our area!

Came here over the holidays for a gf's bday brunch. It was busy, but we were able to snag a table within 10 mins. since there seems to be a constant flow of people coming and going. I've eaten at the Indian place next door and never realized there was a brunch place right next door! Overall, a decent brunch place. Some dishes are hit-or-miss for me personally, but I would come back to try more. My group all ordered different coffees/lattes and I loved my latte art. I think we all enjoyed our beverage selections. I had the Vanilla Latte, and the others ordered the Horchata Latte and House Mocha. -Cinnamon Bun (warmed), was standard & good. Shareable size. -Breakfast Burrito, comes with a spicy mayo dip? The gf who ordered asked for salsa verde on the side. She seemed to enjoy it & was able to save the other half for later. -French Toast Combo, very large portion and the gf who ordered this seemed to enjoy it. -Huevos a la mexicana, I would not add chicken next time. It was okay. I didn't particularly like this dish. -Chilaquiles Verdes, I guess they asked if we wanted to add protein/meat to every dish (it does cost extra!). This one would've been fine without it, but we got Chorizo and it was good as well. They have a small restroom available through the back of the kitchen. Service & staff are all friendly. This is an order at the front & pay first place, but they will seat you at a table first so you can look over the menu and then ask you where you are sitting and bring out your food. Parking lot is available around back, but I'm not sure if you have to pay during brunch hours. Otherwise you can try you luck finding street parking (maybe on Green) & if it's Sunday you don't have to worry about the time limit =)

This place is truly a hidden gem in Pasadena and has become a staple in my life. I love how intimate and welcoming it feels, but what really keeps me coming back is the food, which is consistently delicious every single time. The coffee, the tea, the drinks are amazingly handmade. What makes this place truly exceptional is the people. The staff is warm and genuinely kind. Add in music that's always on point, convenient parking, and it being a perfect spot to meet up with friends or family, and you've got a winning combination. My only small con is the bathroom situation that's not located in the most ideal spot. It's absolutely worth overlooking because the experience as a whole is that good. If you're ever in try it out. You won't regret it.

Came here with some coworkers on Saturday after we did an early run around the rose bowl. There is parking is in the back on the second floor and you also enter the restaurant on the second floor. Place is pretty tiny and pretty cramped inside, but there are some tables outside if you can't get a seat inside. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. Menu is pretty extensive, but I opted for a smoothie and a pancake breakfast. It was pretty good and portion was big enough to fill me up. My coworkers got different items, and they all seemed to enjoy them. However, two of my coworkers said the chicken was pretty dry and not that good. Overall, it's a pretty cool spot to grab a drink or get some breakfast. Place is pretty loud inside and it is hard to have a conversation. It was also kind of expensive ($30 plus tip for that breakfast and smoothie). However, if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't mind coming back and trying some of the other stuff on the menu.

I can tell they used banana puree and it gave a yummy taste and texture. I was able to sub bacon instead of bacon. Hubby enjoyed the pancakes and Green juice. We love the 80s music too

What a wonderful surprise dining at Old Town Caffe. Upon arrival, we warmly greeted, offered menus, provided with ordering instructions and offered a seat. We came to try the Gluten Free Waffles (among other items). The waffle was amazingly delicious. The pancakes were tasty and the green juice hit the spot. This establishment will become one of our regular stops in Pasadena!!!

Walking up to this small, second level restaurant was nice and easy to find. The inside only has about 6 4-people tables and a couple 2-people tables. You order at the front and they bring your food to you, no waiters. The food was delicious, huge portions, I didn't even finish my croissant sandwich! This just became my new favorite breakfast spot in Pasadena! I'm a huge breakfast burrito lover and have yet to find one that checks all my boxes! I've tried a few other famous spots around here that you'll see always on a breakfast burrito countdown but Old Town Caffe def gets 9/10 ! Crispy tortilla, seared to perfection, major points for it being cut in half so you can see the beauty of the ingredients layered inside, I opted out of any protein and this was a very filling burrito! And the price point compared to other places around here is rare ! Also got their cold brew and it's delicious. Energy level already rising ! lol Highly recommend this place ! Haven't been back in a long time. Still a cute place and friendly service. Waffle is delicious! perfect texture and airing light. The presentation is beautiful. French toast combo is go. The bacon is cooked nicely that is not overly crunchy. Selected easy over egg and it was nicely done. The egg white is soft and the egg York is running but not raw. Nice balance to go over toast and bacon. The egg goes well with the waffle as well. They have soft music which is a nice touch. read more

A solid brunch/breakfast place to eat at! Happened to be in the area and decided to try this place out for the first time. Their price is budget friendly with a good amount of food. Ordered the French Toast combo and it did not disappoint. It does get busy during the weekend, but there is a handful of seatings both indoor/outdoor. 10 STARS (if I could!) Around the corner from Boy and the Bear! Only open a month this place will blow up. Ample and easy parking on the second floor. I ordered the mini waffles and they were very airy and light! I requested no Nutella. I enjoyed all the fresh fruits on the waffles but I felt like there weren't much flavor to them. I also ordered their honey vanilla latte with oat milk and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend getting that next time but it's definitely a little pricey.. I believe almond milk was $1 but it didn't make too much sense for me cause the latte itself was definitely less than 8 ounces My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and it was quite a big size! When you're a fan of urth cafe and not a fan of their wait, you have come to the right place. This family run small business has transported a familiar feel of food and service to this small and cozy shop on the second floor of the building. Being a huge fan of good breakfast, I couldn't help myself when I saw their lattes looked suspiciously similar to ones I have enjoyed elsewhere. As I arrive I am warmly greeted with menus and told to sit anywhere. This place knocked it all out of the park. The food is fresh, clean and made to order. The price is more than reasonable given the location as well. Come support small business while having a fantastic meal at Old Town Caffe. read more

This is a really cute cafe! Almost like a small-town Urth vibe. The staff is friendly and patient, contributing to an overall light and positive atmosphere. They have lots of good offerings, every time I looked over at someone's table their meal looked insanely beautiful. Their portion sizes are pretty fair, depending on what you get. I got the vegan waffle because it's gluten free, and to be honest it wasn't over-the-top delicious or extravagant in plating, but it was a solid GF option. It was a little on the dry side and the syrup is very sweet (I'm not big on sweets like that). My friend got the omelette and it seemed very much worth the price. I'd come here again for a nice solo breakfast, it's a very small restaurant with slow service so if you're coming here, definitely plan to wait a little while for your food and drinks. They also only play 80s music so could be fun if you're into that or feel really old if you're not. read more

The food is good and reasonably priced. If you worry about climbing stairs to the second floor, park in the lot in the back which is entered through the one way side street on the west - driveway just south of Colorado. I almost didn't want to review this place because of the fear of more people coming. I decided I can't be greedy and let people know how great this place is! First. There is always parking. Like always. Second. Everyone is so friendly here. They welcome everyone with the same great attitude no matter who you are and how you look. Third. The coffee and food is great! I live in South Bay, and while I was up this way I wanted to find a place to grab a quick breakfast and coffee to go. I'm glad I picked this place. Got the Horchata iced late (best horchata late I've had) and the French toast combo. Eggs and bacon are eggs and bacon, but man that French toast was pretty much perfect. Fluffy and tender, perfect amount of cinnamon. Light and fresh. I don't know where they get their strawberries but they tasted home grown. Food was ok, maybe slightly too greasy for our taste, cofee was not good, and service was really bad. First of all they are asking you to pay up front and then it literally takes forever to get your food. I would say for a small place their food is pretty good for their price. The place is up stairs and they do have outdoor seating. The server is super friendly and helpful. Definitely will record if in the area. read more
