I generally try to only write positive reviews because I don't like contributing to negativity but I had to write an honest review because this is at least the third time I have had a very negative experience with the same associate at this location. I went in to return a few shirts (3- less than $30 total) without a receipt and (I fully expected and understood I'd be getting a credit for current selling price) and a beanie I purchased a few days ago that cost $10.76 with tax. I had the receipt for that one. When this woman (who I assume is the manager) went to ring it up, she noticed the tag had fallen off. I apologized and shrugged because after working in retail for years, I know that commonly happens. Besides, I clearly found the sku on the inside tag and knew it was on that receipt. This employee immediately started questioning me about my return. Keep in mind this was an item that was less than $11! She then questioned if I returned anything else prior on that receipt. Even if I had, why in the world does that effect this current return. She begrudgingly finished the return and then told me that continued to bark orders at me about how to do returns in the future and information about my credit. I have worked in retail for years and have never treated a client as rudely as this woman has- based on the reviews I read here, I'm not the only one. Old Navy really needs to reevaluate their employees and teach them how to treat customers. I can say I will not be returning to this store from now on. read more

Plenty of parking in this shared plaza. Staff is always super friendly. Dressing rooms are kind of a mess and for some reason always full and always a long wait. It has a fairly good inventory, although I feel like they're always out of my size pants. I have to always keep digging or asking for them to look in the back for more. I like Old Navy as a retailer; however this location just lost my business. Back story: I shop at Old Navy (this location in particular) at least once a week and frequently online. I've had to return items to this location in the past and every once in a while, the cashier will tell me not to remove tags if I'm going to return something (even though I always save the tags for a return). What happened during a return: I purchased the Pixie pants in black (I have at least 40 pairs of these pants and I love them for work) & only paid $8 since there was a mega sale going on a few weeks ago. I put the pants on for work and noticed the thread came apart in the rear, so I took them off and folded them back up (tags were already removed since I thought I was going to wear those pants to work). I through on another pair of pixie pants that I bought and all was good. (I've had this problem with 2 other pairs in the past, it just depends on how well they were sewn. I brought the pants in for an exchange and I was mortified!!!! The lady at the register holds the pants up (after I pointed out why I was returning them) and says "oh no these were worn, you took the tags off" I explained the whole getting ready for work story and they weren't worn. She proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't have taken the tags off until I was certain and that they've never had complaints about the pants sticking. I got a little upset and asked her to take care of my request, as I shop here too frequently to be Denied a return for an $8 item. She then tells me "I'm not returning them, you should try the Arcadia location" & "there's fur on these, how am I going to resell them"? (WTF!!!!) Why would you resell a defected item?!? MAKE SURE TO CHECK ALL CLOTHES FROM THIS LOCATION! They might put defected times back on the sales floor. Finally I got the item returned and the lady says "this is the last time" I don't know who taught these women to talk to consumers that way (or anyone) but this was the worst experience. Great place to find cheap deals. Selection is so so. I'll usually find some great deals on bikinis for summer. The inside always looks pretty cluttered. Don't see any kind of order or concept. Just a bunch of clothes on racks. Merchandise is very basic so I rarely find anything here. They have some cute kids clothes though. read more

It turns out that the return/exchange policy that was communicated to me by two sales associates at this location was a downright lie. After posting my Yelp review, I contacted corporate who explained to me that any new, unused item can be returned for store credit and that the store credit can then be used to purchase any other item online or in the store regardless if it is a different item, different style, etc. (i.e., Old Navy's return policy is like 90% of other stores). What was interesting is that they demanded to know the location of the store I went to plus a description of the sales associates who had given me the incorrect information. I am glad to see that Old Navy takes correcting this kind of behavior seriously. read more

I came here for the $1 flip flop sale and never again will I come in here. There's a long line of people here for the sale they were having and not all of the registers were open to accomodate the customers. I didn't see many sales associates walking around the floor. There was a line outside of the store of people waiting to get in. I had left the line inside of the store to go to my car to get cash while my sister waited in line. When I came back, they told me that I couldn't go back inside even though my sister was in line and that I had to wait in the outside line to go in the store. I wasn't trying to cut people in line; I already had my stuff picked out and just needed to get money. He called his manager who came to walk me to my sister, like if I was lying about having someone in line. If it wasn't for the fact that my sister was in line for a while already, I would have just left. read more

I was NOT happy with my experience today. I went into old Navy for some pants and shorts. I found a couple of things that looked good, but I really liked a pair of pants shown on a mannequin. Of course, I couldn't find where the actual product was located. It's a HUGE store and I walked around five times desperately searching for a sales person. I didn't even see anyone. The line at the register was long, so I couldn't even run over there and ask a quick question. I ended up just leaving $100 worth of merchandise there. Had there been sales help to assist me, I would have purchased that clothing. Five loops through the store looking for help was quite enough frustration for one day. I don't like to be critical, but this is deserved. I was bait and switched on a dress shirt. It was supposed to be 40% off, but I guess I should have known that the signs and the posting only applied to the specific single rack. I bought the shirt because I needed it right away, and I stood in line for 15 minutes. I called to see if they had an item in stock, I was told to call back during the week because they don't check stock on busy days????? Wasn't even offered out of common courtesy the option to hold on the line until someone was available. Or god forbid have them ask for me to call back and check if someone is available at a later time.No wonder they don't provide you with their name when they answer the phone. Beware!! Old Navy has the most absolute horrible return policy/customer service! I went in to return two of several items I bought at their 50% off sale 11/27/15 & they would not allow it. THREE months is their cut off on returns. I called customer service (which in reality, it was NOT) and they said the best they could do is mail me forty seven cents for an item I paid $9.47 for! I thought I would never say this but, THANK YOU OLD NAVY! I was leaving for Colombia the next day, and I needed a new bathing suit. My old one finally died after almost 10 years of service. I scoured every store I could think of and no one had bathing suits. We live in CA! COME ON! A bathing suit in CA should not be a seasonal item. Old Navy was my last resort. I head towards the back and I find a whole bathing suit section. I was so happy! The best part was they were on a massive sale. I ended up getting two pairs for less than $20. What a great deal. My friends and I come to this Old Navy once a month after our monthly happy hour get-together at Kabuki, blocks away. I love that it's empty when we go, but so are their clearance racks. Or the only sizes left are XS. Who the hell wears XS anymore? I love the staff here. Of the multiple visits this year, the women working the fitting room dept have been super nice and helpful. My friends and I like to show off the clothes we try on, and they'll be honest of the clothes we wear. My favorite Old Navy (especially when their clearance is an extra 50% off). Clothes are typically always on sale for reasonable prices and their clearance section always has items. Lines can get long for check out but they do have back up checkers. They're typically well stocked. Merchandise is at times everywhere BUT it's because people ravage through everything without even caring. Associates are also always ready to help you find what you're looking for. I wanted some sandals for my brother and they checked if they had the size I was looking for in store. Turns out they had ONE left, poor girls tried their BEST to dig through everything with me to find it but we couldn't. They still went out of their way to put it on hold at another store. Great customer service and friendly attitudes leads to a continued customer! Only thing I miss is the surveys they used to do after your purchase on your receipt for 10% off your next purchase. read more

This is one of the cleanest Old Navy's I've ever been in. And that staff was amazingly nice. I got a giftcard for Christmas and I assumed I'd end up buying jeans. I wasn't bowled over with the fit of most of the jeans, but I found an outfit I could wear to my office. I hate dressing for work. It's business casual, but alot of people go in looking like they've just rolled out of bed. I'm a casual girl with tomboy tendencies, but I found a gray pencil skirt and black short sleeved shirt that ties in the back. Whenever I dress for work, I always try to look like me, not me playing in my mommy's closet and this outfit fits the bill. read more

I came to this Old Navy for the first time with my cousin yesterday. I had a $10 Gap reward that I wanted to use. This location was under construction but it was still open. It's not the best Old Navy that I have been to. They have a really good selection of clothes but they didn't have that many sizes to choose from for some of the items. I ended up buying a plaid shirt. The employee that rang me up was really nice and friendly. She complimented me on the hoodie that I was wearing. read more

So I received a strange order from Old Navy. I get that during the pandemic, odd stuff can happen, and this was definitely odd: of the three things I'd bought on the website, one was fine, one was the wrong size and the last was a different item altogether. I reached out on the Old Navy website to reorder the wrongly sized one, and was told I could either send the incorrect items back or take them into a store. I chose to take them into the Hastings Ranch, Pasadena Old Navy store. This was a mistake. I was gifted with the presence of Sharon, a sullen clerk who, while willing to work the register for me, seemed to be uninterested in actually helping me out. I started out our exchange with an apology, saying I knew this would be a bit confusing. Sharon quickly made it clear, with a bored tone and disdainful attitude that not only was I incorrect in thinking this situation could be resolved with a return (like I'd been told in a chat session from the website), but also that she would do nothing to remedy a situation that was only my fault in that I had chosen to purchase anything from this company. I had brought to the register the item I had actually purchased from the website (not what I'd received) and told Sharon that I understood (after I finally did understand) that she could not exchange the two items, but at least she could re-sell me the item I had bought at the price I'd bought it at. She rudely said she couldn't, that was impossible! That she'd have to call Old Navy, whine, whine, whine. At this point, another clerk came up and told the delightful Sharon that she in fact could do as I asked. Sharon did, after telling me three times that if I'd used my Old Navy card instead of my Gap card, I could have gotten 40% off today- on what, exactly, I have no idea. Skip the Old Navy card; I'm seriously tempted to cut both cards up, right about now. I went home with the shirt I didn't order, there to deal with Old Navy a third time over a mistake they'd made, and with the added bonus of feeling like I'd been slapped and degraded by a rude stranger. It was magical. My issue is that with a proper attitude, this whole mess could have been avoided. I entered in sympathetically, knowing that whomever helped me in the store was not the warehouse clown who'd originally sent me the wrong stuff. Knowing it could be a difficult transaction (that again, I didn't cause), I went to the store in the late afternoon, when I was sure it wouldn't be too busy. There was no good reason for this nasty creature to act like she did. If she'd said, 'You know? I really wish I could help you, but as sucky as it is, you'll have to return it by mail to get your money back.' Sharon also could have pointed out that the return would be free, and really pretty easy (although it requires yet another trip out into the pandemic). But Sharon didn't do any of those things, instead she just acted like a self involved, petulant child, angry at me for not letting her have her way. Why, I have to ask, was a person, who so clearly doesn't like people, ever, EVER hired to work with the public? What was this woman doing working at Old Navy? I have to question any manager who would let this person work with their customers, and I certainly have no interest in going back to a store where I may have to in any way deal with this sort of odious personality. Slipped and drowned my feet in water while crossing rivers hiking Eaton Canyon and well, I wasn't about to walk barefoot into a restaurant (nor was I going to eat with a shoe full of water and soggy socks) so we made a pit stop here to grab some flipflops. I generally buy them at Old Navy because they're relatively cheap, usually 2 for $5.00 and huzzah! I was correct. I only really wanted size 7 black ones because I don't really like colorful shoes, but they only had one black rung of them on the bottom that were sizes 8 and up nothing else. Only one other rung of black flip flops were at their top most row that we'd need a store associate to get the hook. We looked around, no one is on the floor. We walked around to see if we can find anyone else, NO ONE. Hungry and tired I just grabbed a brown pair and a black and white striped one (thinking everything on that wall of flipflops were the same price/running the same promo of 2 for $5.00 since there were no other sign that said otherwise). But alas, it wasn't until I got into the car that I realized the black and white ones were not the standard flipflop price, they were $5.00, not $3.50 like the brown one so it did not qualify for the promo of 2 for $5.00. I wish the store would've organized it so that the more expensive ones were together rather than together with the cheaper $3.50 ones. Lastly not enough cashiers at the front, there were total of 2 cashiers only on a Saturday weekend and clearly a customer was having some sort of money/receipt issue with one of the cashiers so they were down to ONE cashier and the line started to back up and still no one called for a back cashier until 10 minutes in when the line was already stifled and long. 1. No store associates around the store/floor (no matter how hard we looked) when customer needs help. 2. Disorganized arrangement of product. 3. Not enough cashiers resulting in long line. read more

Worst line ever, obviously they do not know how to staff enough people to help. 68 people in front of us and 42 behind us. Nobody on staff is moving fast or seems to care. Seems like they have been overworked all day today. I have watched 22 people leave the line in this past 10 minutes. Only 4 cash registers open, very unacceptable. We waited in line for over 1 hour. What a waste, we won't be back ever. We saw this last year in this location as well, I thought they would have learned. They are averaging 3 minutes per customer at each register, this is horrible. There must be another 8 workers walking around the store doing other busy work, imagine how much money you lost today old navy, not just from the line, but in customers whom won't return. read more

I used to love this Old Navy until they remodeled a few years ago. Then it seems like everything went down hill. This used to be, in my opinion a 4 star store and now it's really worthy of no more than a 2! This store used to be so well stocked, organized with helpful and present employees. Now it looks like a hurricane went through the place and I can never find anyone to help me when I can't find what I am looking for! Though, to be fair this location's selection of merchandise has gone to shit to so, it's likely they probably wouldn't be of any help to begin with. It's sad as I remember when this Old Navy first opened back in the late 90s! Not only was I so happy to have one right here in Pasadena, but, it was clean, spacious, well stocked and had some decent employees! It pretty much stayed that way for a long time after. First time shopping online at old navy and picking up in-store. Do yourself a favor and shop in-store. It was not time saving at all. The orders were not organized and whoever put my order together thought I wouldn't check my order...the sale's person tore part of the tag off to try to pass it off as the correct size. The staff here has no sense of urgency. They are not respectful of your time. They are disorganized, and will not pull more than 2 people to checkout even when the line is wrapping around the store. I shop at Old Navy all the time. I like the way their jeans fit me above all other brands of jeans. I went in today and the store was in chaos. I get that it's the holiday season but come one!! I worked retail before and we would organize the store at the end of each night. Their jeans were all mixed up...no organization at all. I looked and looked but couldn't find my size. There was this lady with blue lipstick on organizing one end of the wall of jeans and I asked her if there is a method to finding a size and she told me..."this will all be organized in 3 days...just come back." Seriously? How about ...what size and style are you looking for...may I help you find them? Nope just come back in three days. I told her I wouldn't be bothered to waste my time coming back...she just said "oh ok". I went to the location in the Santa Anita mall and found a pair no problem. That store didn't have anyone to help but at least they were a bit more organized! Never going to go to the Foothill location again! read more
