Depressing vibe on a grey, cold, rainy day. Mid-level bagels. Very friendly staff - they seemed stretched thin & cld have used at least one more person. No one was cleaning the tables or emptying the overflowing trash receptacle. Three stars & not lower b/c this area is a food dead zone, with the exception of nearby Glatt kosher gelato & Glatt kosher hamburgers. There are at least very healthy options here. If you want to sink into anomie with a choice of healthy options or Jewish desserts, but also a sticky table, this is the place for you. Bonus: they have a parking lot. read more

I am so glad I discovered oh bagel. the place is clean, the bagels are light and delicious. the sandwich I ordered was fresh in every bite I really enjoyed it and the coffee was good but what blew me away were their prices they were very affordable and that is really refreshing. read more

Always reliable. My favorite: sesame, untoasted with vegetable ( Israeli) tuna and red onion or green olive.

Pay no attention to their signs re hours. I got there 1:10pm on a Friday. One sign said they close one hour before sundown, the other one said 2pm and yet, the door is locked and the guy shrugs at me. My bagel tasted very stale. I explicitly asked for it to not be toasted, and not only was it toasted it was burnt. If you're going to be a bagel spot in NY you have to do better than that. read more

Just paid 3 bucks for a bagel and cream cheese. The cream cheese was so thin it barely covered the bagel. I scraped off as much as possible and put it all on 1/4 piece. Still very thin. Way overpriced. read more

Cute place in Sheepshead that has a really large selection of fresh bagels! The store is pretty big itself and usually not too crowded. They have a variety of specialty cream cheese and other types of pre-prepared foods. read more

Walked in twice while I was waiting for my laundry next door. Must say I was told one price then when I went to pay - was told a different price. The manager (the Israeli lady) was not very nice to her staff and although I like being treated nicely as a customer, I also like it when the staff is not being bullied. Got the sandwich with avocado, egg, tomato & red onion on an everything bagel. It was very yummy but there's deff a few ways to improve the meal. They used premade guacamole from salad counter which made the sandwich so wet and mushy, slippery hard to eat without everything squeezing out of the bagel. The bagel itself was supposed to be everything but didn't have much of an everything taste, some seasoning on top mostly onion. Nevertheless it was good tasting. The guy behind counter taking my order was very polite and friendly. He was engaged and helpful in telling me about menu options and making recommendations despite it being pretty busy inside. The cashier girl was also very nice and pleasant. I would come back again and just try something less mushy, they had many menu options for breakfast/lunch. The parking lot is a little bit nuts, people double park blocking other cars without any regard so heads up. read more

I stopped in today as I was walking by. Very clean and friendly and the cream cheeses looked great - especially the one with lox. But being my first visit I opted to judge the place on its signature item...not toasted. My everything bagel only had "everything" on one side and not all that much as well. Love Oh Bagel. Their food is really good and fresh. I also like the service. I'm normally not a huge fan of egg salad but it's the number one thing I get here. I'll usually get a toasted bagel with egg salad and green olives. It's so good. I also really like their tuna salad. Pretty much everything I've had here was delish. My only complaint is the crowd. This place can be really crowded at times and there is absolutely no system with ordering. You don't know where the line begins and where it ends. That can get pretty annoying but the food is really good, so I won't hold it against them too much. read more

I just finished eating here and I'm really unimpressed. I ordered an egg white omelette with cheese, mushroom, tomato and jalapeño. (On a bagel) When the bagel got placed in front of me I asked the cashier if it had cheese, and the guy that made the bagel. They both nodded yes. I opened my bagel and immediately the bagel breaks apart so I have bits of bagel and nothing really to hold it together. Of course the first bite I realized that there wasn't any cheese. The jalapeños were green and orange on the inside, which I've never seen. Not worth 5 dollars, let alone the 10.50 I paid for this shoddy bagel and a water bottle. Won't go here again. read more

They have almost everything a food business need to succeed. But there is still something missing. The place is clean, lighted, and give you a general feeling of healthy food. And the people that serve you are very nice as well, but they should get cooking lesson. We ordered the Panini, with mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, olives and mozzarella cheese. It was OK, but could easily become perfect: it need more time to get the crisp, and for the cheese to be smoother. Their coffee (regular milk and sugar) was very good. Clean and fresh food. On specific days the place is over busy, so you should be prepared to wait for the order quiet a long time (For a bagel place). But their Bagels and their Paninis worth the wait. There is private parking for the Bagel place and for the laundromat next to it. The problem is that it might be better to park at the street than to park in the parking lot. It is always full, and sometime you need to wait like 10 minutes for the person who blocked your car to move the car and let you get out. Bland food, menus have the wrong prices, poor and obnoxious service and way overpriced. I just paid over $6 for a bagel with two scrambled eggs and a Coffee. The eggs were bland and had no salt, the large coffee apparently was not even written on the menu (only the small and medium were) and they charged me an extra dollar for the large. The cashier wad rude. The service was slow. The only benefit is that this place had a parking lot. read more

My review is solely based on the fact that every price at this place is made up. My bagel was delicious: whole wheat everything, scooped out toasted with olive cream cheese and lox. My sum total was shockingly $10.29. TEN DOLLARS! FOR A BAGEL! When I asked the cashier for the breakdown, he was unable to tell me. I asked him specifically how much lox cost- he claimed it was automatic in the system and he didn't know. This is unheard of and deceitful. For any joint, but especially a Jewish one, this type of sly taking advantage of customers is not appreciated. read more

Very tasty food, generous portions. Bagels are really good: large, slightly crisp on the outside and chewy but light---not leaden. And the statff---mgmt. & workers alike---are generally very pleasant. It can get busy & crowded at peak hours, but I've always found them to be courteous, even friendly. Horrible service. Called to place an order and kept getting hung up on before I could ask to pay, then I called back and he acts like paying over the phone is such a burden, takes my credit info and hangs up again before getting a name. When I called the 3rd time he gets annoyed that I wanted to give a name for the pick up, as if that's not a normal part of placing an order. After all that, we didn't even get the whole order, no bagels from a bagel place, brilliant. Out of the dozens of kosher places in Brooklyn, let alone on Coney Island, I'll skip the one with awful manners that can't fill the whole order. I'd usually call and work it out, everyone makes mistakes and that's ok, but given how obnoxious the first phone convo was, I won't waste my breath. read more
