Beautiful and convenient location but the inside was kind of surprising. Ends of our table we're coming off, we sat on ottomans (which is not ideal with kids) and food was mediocre. It's expensive and I think they're slacking a bit because they sell seafood on the beach in Maine and they can get away with it. For the price, I expected more. Drinks were weak. On Sunday June 6th, we called the restaurant to see if we could place an order for pick up. The woman said no come to the takeout window. So we got in the car and drove to the takeout window which was closed as well. So my friend had to go inside wait for someone to come and take our order, then wait 20 minutes to get the food which wasn't a problem. Once we got back to the hotel with the food (5 min ride) the lobster bisque was very very fishy, I could not even eat it. My friend got the fried clam plate which only came with about seven clams and a ton of french fries. And she said they were not tasty at all. read more

After a nice morning at Foothill Bridge Beach in Ogunquit, ME, we were hoping for an enjoyable lunch and some good food. As this was our first and certainly last visit to this establishment, we were beyond disappointed! The hostess had a BRF (Bitchy Resting Face)! The waitress was not attentive and in her absence, when we asked a question of another server, we got a nasty look! The food was fair at best and the bathrooms were filthy. The service was good, but everything else was extremely mediocre. The music was atrocious. The margarita came from a mix. The French fries were the same ones they make in the hospital cafeteria where I work, but not as hot. Ok. First- this beautiful restaurant is directly on the water. There literally isn't a table in the place that doesn't have water views. Might that have slightly higher prices then an inland location? To the people that complain the restaurant is expensive go find a dive that doesn't pay rent in this beautiful location. French onion soup is excellent. Lobster ravioli for lunch more like an appetizer with no sides but sufficient with six. Sprinkled with spinach. They were also excellent. My wife's hamburger was great and the fries were too! Drinks a bit pricey ($9) wine & mixed but views more than made up for it. Server, Chris came to our table only to bring us things. Didn't ask us how everything was or can I get you another drink, desert, etc. Seemed like a nice guy though! We would come back. read more

The views are outstanding but the food is terribly expensive for the quality. We had a seafood platter with a small amount of fish, a few clams, and a few scallops. The best thing about it was the fries which were amazing! I had filet which had no taste. For dessert we had the cookie sundae. It was $11 for a not baked cookie (it was more like hot cookie dough) which was the size of a chips ahoy and a tablespoon of ice cream. Would not return here. read more

We stopped in for a couple of cocktails at the bar the location has a great upstairs deck with a view over the inlet. We sat downstairs inside as it was warm, the cocktails were well done and Reasonably priced. We ordered the chicken wings which were crispy and hot. We will be back! read more

This place is located right at the bridge across from the cove before Ogunquit Beach and we came for an early dinner after a long day at the beach. We went back to hotel showered changed and headed over I asked for a table up on the outside deck which was available. The hostess who was such a nice young lady she was so helpful made sure the sun wasn't bothering us which it wasn't she seated us and also came back to check really nice. Now the place was really clean the deck had amazing views inside the upstairs the furniture looked brand new as did the entire floors and stairway as well as bars and restroom seemed to have been done over fairly recently it looked great. Now the waitress came over and gave us menus and brought us water. We ordered lobster sliders for an appetizer which we enjoyed the view while we waited for. They came out and they were as good as advertised plenty of lobster no skimping nice and fresh a definite if you go here. For our entree my wife got Strawberry salad with grilled shrimp she said whatever they flavored the shrimp with was so goo she loved it and for myself I had looked at menu online during day at beach and all I could think about all day was the lobster grilled cheese and that's what I got and it didn't disappoint. Service was excellent food was excellent atmosphere was excellent 5 stars are well deserved definitely will be back read more

I haven't ate yet still waiting for my food, so this review is simply for the fact that they don't serve any bread while you're waiting for your order. Otherwise, great location as it's right on the beach. They close at 9pm though which seems a bit early, nonetheless it's 8:50pm and it's still packed! UPDATE- 9:39pm Food was not up to par for the price. We ordered the mussels ($14), steamers ($16), grilled cheese ($6) for my toddler, the colossal ($29), and fish and chips ($19). The only thing my husband and I enjoyed was the fires that came with out food because it's kind of hard to screw up fries, ya know? Mussels were drowning in a tasteless cream soup, steamers looked like they were swimming in dirty water with a sprinkle of green, lobster roll (colossal) was SMALL, and the fish and chips had a weird batter. I think I was most disappointed with my fish and chips because it just wasn't appetizing at all, especially not for the price. On top of the bad food, we had even worse customer service. Our waiter checked on us maybe 2 times while checking on other tables many times. We arrived/were seated at 8:15 and didn't get any food until after 9pm. Mind you majority of the people on the restaurant already had food on their tables so I don't understand the wait. This place sucked and I recommend you take your money elsewhere. My wife and I were looking for a restaurant with beach and water views and got a 7:30 dinner reservation. We were a little nervous due to some bad reviews, but a lot of other restaurants don't take reservations. Our experience was was the opposite. We were greeted by an energetic and upbeat hostess. Our waitress, Crystal, was friendly and helpful, and had a great sense of humor. We had a jumbo lobster roll and an order of fried clams. Both were excellent, and even the roll was good. Dessert was a homemade blueberry ice cream. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of free parking. While there are no 5 star restaurants In Ogunquit, this one is a solid 4 plus. What a wonderful restaurant! The view from the oversized windows, the comfortable chairs and the food is amazing! The lobster was cooked to perfection and the shell just came right off! Came for dinner this evening and the service was terrible. The first server entered drinks and appetizers, but didn't write anything down and forgot an order. So we did then we came back at 4:30 and they informed us that what we heard we false information and to come back at 4:40, so I said you guys keep putting back the time I thought this was supposed to open at 4? And they responded well we couldnt have seated you anyway in a rude tone, when I was just asking out of curiosity because I was hungry. We ended up going somewhere else. read more

If I hadn't gone online first and added our name onto the waitlist we may have never gotten a table. We were staying within walking distance to the restaurant, so I added our names around 6:00pm and left 15 minutes later to arrive at 6:30pm. We were not seated until 7:00pm, so a full hour wait. The young ladies at the hostess stand were turning patrons away if they were not on the waitlist due to them closing at 8:00pm. I think this is a huge missed opportunity for this restaurant closing so early on a Friday night. Maybe they should stretch to 10pm on Friday and Saturday to accommodate the tourists/local guests. The food was great and the staff was friendly, but I took one star away due to the "waitlist" verse walk-up. LOVE this place. Gorgeous, minimalist decor inside and out. Reminds me of places in Europe. Upstairs has awesome views of the sunset. Lobster ravioli and lobster grilled cheese were excellent. Strong mixed drinks. Comfortable, cool environment with a great music selection playing during dinner. Super chill vibe..Very relaxing. Quick service ...way less of a wait (15-20 min) then other places around ...we were not going to wait an hour or more to eat at other places. Our waiter was attentive and let us switch tables for a better view! Go here it's a hidden gem with great food. Also, bonus it's close to the beach so you can go walking down there after! We were entirely underdressed when we walked in off the beach to get some fried clams. The staff was gracious and attentive just the same. Yummy fried clams, reasonable price for a good portion of friend clams and fries. The clam chowder was good too. I was happy to read that you could have breakfast anytime, so I ordered breakfast last night and was so disappointed! I ordered Florentine eggs. The poached egg whites were runny, so I told the waitress and I got the eggs back and they were equivalent to hard boiled eggs. The spinach was chopped frozen and liquidy. Didn't look appealing, so I didn't eat it. Had the hollandaise on the side and it was greasy on the perimeter. My husband had a typical diner fare and enjoyed it.
