We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.

Gosh, you just hope you made a memorable choice for the right reasons. We did - we both felt we not only received value for our dining dollars, we felt cared for by the staff and satiated by the kitchen. People like sitting outside - so the reservations reflected that and we could only be seated inside. Was not a disappointment to be seated inside. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had a steak sandwich and my dining partner had a chicken sandwich. Both were really tasty and well prepared. We only had water to drink and that was not a problem. I feel many times if I don't order an app or a drink a server becomes less friendly. That wasn't our experience here. I don't believe in over rewarding a place - but I feel a 4.5 out of 5 is appropriate. Since I can't give that - I rounded up to 5.

The menus are also laminated, so they just sit there to not rot and instead pollute the area. I suggest having some sort of hole puncher and a binder ring to give it weight and perhaps anchor it to something because the issue is getting out of hand. Not the best way to have a beach-side restaurant.

From what we could see, the kitchen was seriously backed up and the overall operation wasn't being managed well. The staff deserved better support because they were hustling nonstop while trying to deal with unhappy customers. I hope management addresses these issues because the employees are putting in the effort. With better kitchen execution and smoother operations, this could be a much better dining experience.

One of the owners called back on Friday morning to say that he'd try to make it for six people but it was going to be hard because they were so busy. Later in the afternoon he left a text message saying that we were all set for six at our requested time. This is personalized service that you don't see very often these days. Thanks to Gary for the pleasant conversation and the over and above effort. We've been to Five 0 a few times in the last month and the ambiance, vibe and service are excellent. The food is well prepared and delicious with a nice menu selection. It's an easy walk from Perkins Cove or Ogunquit Center but they do have Valet parking. Amherst Choice!

I didn't even finish 2/3 of the leeks and was kind of hoping to get it taken off our bill since I paid $28 for something I didn't end up eating due to how it was served/worry about food being left out and not properly heated. We had a hard time choosing where to eat because everything around the area had like three stars, but would come highly recommend recommended. This is one I think I would say could be skipped! Holding the tray she was shaking to the point that I actually grabbed it from her before she spilled it - so it could just have been her inexperience. I may give this place another shot - it was decent, just a few things that could improve as the season goes on!

We ordered a poke bowl and a bowl of clam chowder. The poke bowl was very fresh and had lots of fish and veggies, which were tasty. I really like that they added seaweed salad. The only thing is that it was VERY salty due to an excess of sauce. Next time I would order the sauce on the side. Our clam chowder was average, and tasted more like potato soup than actual clam chowder. I definitely wish they included more clam chunks as well. Overall the menu was pretty basic and had nothing beyond what every New England seafood restaurant has to offer, with food quality slightly below average.

The half pint of "scallops" were all PIECES and adductor muscle. Complete scam. No lemons or coleslaw and the tartar sauce comes pre-made. Fish sandwich was fine.

Full bar and mocktails. And apps to start us off. Just sit and enjoy the view. Yes you are in the street to occasionally a big truck goes by but with the right company who cares. You see the ocean and smell the salt air. Menu is good. Vegan options and of course seafood. It's up there on price both worth it. Indoor and outdoor seating and I believe they bought the building next door with a balcony area but not 100% sure. The food was great and a lot on the plate. The tacos only come with tacos. No fries or rice or side something. Was a bit disappointed but in the end it was ok. Large portions of fish and chips. And did I mention the view. Street parking is available but can be a challenge. Do you know how to parallel park? You might need to park down the road a bit and walk but you can't go wrong with a walk on the beach before or after your meal.
