Horrific Experience here just to purchase a set of $7 pens. I decided I needed some new .7mm pens since I had a lot of writing to do. Needing them so soon, I drove to Office Depot to purchase the pens. I parked, went to place a to-go order at Loro next door. Walked back to Office Depot, purchased my Sharpie Gel pens then returned to my car to find an AGGRESSIVE man waiting at my car, a BOOT on my tire and he Demanded $100 to remove it. I genuinely felt threatened. Despite being a customer of OFFICE DEPOT they demanded the money from me. I can't believe Office Depot partners with A Predatory , Aggresive towing/booting company of this nature. I no longer will support Office Depot and will be emailing corporate about this horrific experience. Office Depot sells their own brand of ink jet printer cartridges -- I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM. For the second time I had to bring one back because it did not work -- at all. It came out of the package looking damaged. Unfortunately this time I was unable to get a refund because it had been more than 30 days since I bought it. This is how Office Depot does business? Selling a faulty product and then not making good on it because of a corporate policy of "30 day return"? That's all I could get from the useless store clerk who called herself a "manager". This is the worst Office Depot location I have ever been to in my entire life. Never have I been treated with such disrespect at an Office Depot. I am no longer using Office Depot for my print services. I've chosen to go to UPS from now on, and you should too. The employees at this location are unnecessarily rude and totally incompetent. Their self serve printer wasn't working and they tried to claim I was lying about that (like, what?!). It was so ridiculous. They insisted on charging me 16 cents for printing it themselves, and wouldn't comp me 16 cents for their machine not working. Seriously?! I called the manager on duty, David, to complain about my experience. David confirmed that servers for the self serve printer were down and I wasn't lying. However, he never followed up to my voicemail I left him when I wanted to confirm I got my money back. It was so unprofessional. A review of Office Depot that was about dry cleaning? Maybe your webmaster needs a pinch to wake up. Store is always clean and well-organized. I especially like being able to take my used-up ink cartridges here for disposal. There used to be some kind of deal connected to used cartridges but I haven't printed much lately, so can't comment accurately. read more

Been using this print shop for years for last minute print outs with no problem. Being a contractor sometimes I need to have docs printed immediately. Last night I sent two emails from my phone from my truck for quick easy print out. I get there, enter my info into their que program and waited 30+ minutes with two people ahead of me. The auto update of line position kept saying "15 min, 3 people in front of you". Finally I get to the front of the line and the woman says "it would be tomorrow as there are 10 orders in front of you". I'm not ordering signage. I'm not ordering presentations to be printed, bound and sorted. I need a quick print out, 1 friggin copy, of a document. Take two minutes. Been doing this for 10+ years with no problem. Don't promote "your office away from home" if this is the level of service you're providing. Since Office Max took over, this store has declined. read more

This review is for online orders. The return process is a complete disaster. They sent me the wrong item and the policy is to send UPS to pick up the package. It's been sitting on my front porch for a week now awaiting pickup. I've called 5 times and emailed five times, always with the same answer "the item will be picked up today". Also their customer care center must be located in Thailand or China because the folks who answer the phone speak good English but are so heavily accented that you cannot understand them. If you order online make sure to check the package immediately, before the delivery guy leaves, if possible, because getting a refund/return is extremely difficult and frustrating. read more

I clenched my keys as I walked up to the door. I hopped over the weird gutter thing that I'm sure has eaten many of them. I stepped inside. I knew exactly what I wanted: Two binders, some paper for printing, and some pens, & some cubicle clippies. I got exactly what I wanted. What's even better was that the binders and the paper were BOGO, so that was pretty fantastic. The store itself was organized, although a little more compact than it used to be when it was further spread out where the CVS is now. I guess it works in their favor because now it seems like they have more stuff than just empty space. Took me a while to get my bearings, though. I can see why people who come here on a regular basis might get frustrated. There was hardly any visible staff in the store when I stopped by, but many customers. Hence, a line. There were two cashiers and one had a lengthy return- so let's just call it one working cashier. Poor guy was trying to get through the line in front of me. Finally got to the front and was able to take home all my stuff. Clenching my keys, trying to not let them fall into the gaping gutter-curb, I walked to my car. I'll probably come back when I need office supplies "now" or else I can always order online for far cheaper than I can get it in person. In case you didn't pick up on it, that gutter freaks me out. I kind of wish they'd put some kind of wire mesh or something there. I have a feeling that's where a lot of missing people, socks, and wallets end up. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in Austin, TX. I came in to get a poster plotted and matted as a present, and was stuck with a sales associate so incompetent that he was asking me questions about how to print from their 1990s computer. After an hour of wasting my time they finally told me I could just leave the files with them, while they waited for someone with some experience. When I returned to pick them up, each print was completely ruined, they had run out of the materials to print them, and they could not tell me if they could get any more materials in the next month in despite knowing a Office Depot location on the other side of around town was fully stocked. With 10 employees to the 4 customers I would have thought their customer service would have been at least decent. Look, I get it. You hate your job, they don't pay you enough, whatever. My only request is you make a half-hearted attempt to level with me on what you can do or if you can help. I will then leave your store and you can texting your BFF and talking about how life as an 18 year old is sooo hard. Our family spends at least $500.00 a yr at this location since its in the neighborhood. We have always had poor customer service but today was the last straw. We purchased $80.00 worth of ink for our new Epson printer two weeks ago. After literally 3 color prints (not even full color bleed) the printer is telling us to replace the inks. Unfortunately we lost our receipt...instead of working with us a little the assistant manager and GM pretty much told me to go f myself and made me feel like I was trying to steal ink from them. I know it would be easy for them to send these back to Epson and get reimbursed. If I was to try and send them back it will take hours on the phone and a trip to the post office... so I might as well just buy new ones. I have a broken printer. I called to ask if they work on broken printers. "Yes...we sure do. The consultation is free & we'll charge you if it needs real work." I take the printer to them. The dude who provides the consultation is as tech savvy as me. The lights all come on & it gets power - but it won't print. He says "it's getting power - but something is making it not want to print. I said - yeah...that's the problem all right. Take care of it. He says - "we can't fix things...only diagnose if it's not working." Really? That's not what the girl said who answered the phone. I made sure to come here several times before forming a concrete opinion. The employees are friendly but if you're going to mail something or pick up pictures, expect to wait in line for at least 15 minutes. They are understaffed and there is always something wrong with the printers. Everything is a slow process. For example: I ordered a couple of pictures and a card on their website. When I went to pick up my order, they told me they hadn't had time to do it. I was told to come back at the end of the day. So I went back at the end of the day but they couldn't find my order... So I reordered my pictures and card online. I got the confirmation email saying my order was ready for pick up. I went to the next day. They had my pictures but not the card I ordered. They tried printing it as I (patiently) waited, but they ended up not being able to do it because the card was "queued on the wrong printer". I gave up. Paid for my pictures and left. They also barely apologized. read more

If you need a doc printed, you can do better somewhere else. The man at the service counter was rude, acting extremely annoyed that I approached the counter. He waved me to a pad on a kiosk to sign in, which was a cumbersome and awkward process, as the device was not intuitive, did not respond well, and required sharing unnecessary information that slowed the process. Two other customers who were waiting proactively commented that they didn't like this system, calling it "slow" and "ridiculous" and noting that the staff person "moved like a sloth". In the end, I was rudely handed my prints with no envelope or folder or bag to protect them. Maybe they need to treat their staff better or maybe this guy needs to find a job he hates less, but his whole vibe was very off-putting. Since I used their "automated" system to check in to get a print made, which required my email address, I have been spammed by emails. I got three before the day was half over. read more

I've never had a print order be completed correctly or on time at this store. It's close to me and I always send my stuff to them, yet end up either waiting for hours or having to send it to another store. One example: yesterday, I called and emailed a very detailed print order. I spoke with customer service and the printing department and they indicated it would be ready tomorrow morning (today). I called this morning to check on the order and the person I spoke with could not find it. She indicated she did not believe the stuff that was on yesterday completed the order and it would take up to six hours for her to complete it herself. I am on a deadline, I am almost always on a deadline. I was told she would do her best but the customers who were in the store would take precedence over my order. This is ridiculous. read more
