I visited this location for a curbside pickup in early August. It was the only store in Austin with stock of the KN95 masks I wanted. I felt their curbside delivery was a bit slow compared to the order fulfillment acknowledgements. At the same time, it was tax-free back-to-school weekend there was a a steady if slow stream of foot traffic while I waited the 10 minutes or so for my order to be brought out. I got a steal of a deal on the masks, which made it well-worth the wait. I'm not sure what the in-store experience is like, but I am happy enough to try them again. read more

If I could I would have given less than a 1 star. Less than average customer service including both the store manager and printing manager! I went into the store to get some flyers printed. Everyone in there said I had to do it online, so I did. When I got the order, it was done incorrectly- not as ordered. Both of the managers stated that you can't do that online even though there is an option to select it they said it goes to the regional store but nowhere on their website does it say this. They were not willing to make it correct. I would never recommend this Office Depot. read more

We went here to refill our ink cartridges. Our epic journey through the line was long and arduous. I walked in the door to be directed to stand in the checkout line for service. In and out probably took 30 minutes and it was mostly waiting out the incompetence and indecision of the employees. Only one older man working there seemed to know what to do, but he was not in charge and wasn't bucking for employee of the month. They need to hire someone over 25 to run the store. If Walgreens didn't ruin every ink cartridge you give them, I'd have a local choice of where to go other than paying full price at Target. read more

For a office max this is not a good source to rely on. I couldn't find of the five items needed found nada sad for me had to get on line to go on a hunt for all what I needed no staff to help me find what I was looking for. I gracefully made my exit dont think I come back UNLESS I get someone to help me. It was like a ghost town no one appeared out of no where maybe the executives need make a secret appearance so they can see no one is actually running Office Max they would totally freak out. So I couldn't tell you who was there maybe a couples of people shopping for what, don't know. Not a hit on this on folks. Not returning even for staples geez. read more

I really try to avoid giving 1 start , it has to be exceptionally terrible for me to do this but the print center is honestly the worse. It's not just from 1 account but multiple since it's right down the street from us. The employees will ignore you and not say a word for 15 minutes because they're understaffed and finally when you get an acknowledgment it takes another 25-30 minutes to get your order right. Everyone seems clueless on how to operate the machines (even though this their supposed speciality) and if they're having tech issues which is often, instead of actually troubleshooting they just stand there and stare at it. One employee even thought it was appropriate to turn his monitor around and say , it just blanked out , it's not working but not actually do anything about it. There needs to be better leadership at this location and the employees need better training . read more

Went to the copy center. I'm reasonable with response time but Kevin looked over worked. The other girl didn't acknowledge us and their was an older dude with facial hair who was sitting down in the copy center and when he saw us he turned his back on us. I went to office max this morning to get an large mailing envelope. I found what I needed and then proceeded to the counter to check out. when I arrived there was no one in sight. the store was nearly empty so I'm not sure why there was nobody available to check me out. I stood there for about ten minutes while several associates just looked at me and offered NO help. I ended up leaving the envelope on the counter and walked out of the store. this isn't the first bad experience I've had here and I will never purchase from here again. do better folks! read more

I will NEVER be coming back to this location. The guy Eric (asian ethnicity) was exceptionally RUDE to us. We had 3 separate transactions and he said "exactly what is going to be rung up separately" then rolled his eyes and sighed. He should not be working here with that type of attitude. Tim in the Copy & Print department just totally saved the day! My wife had a marketing event for her business come up last minute; we needed flyers and a sign printed same day. The online order form showed our order wouldn't be finished until 7p - but the event started at 5p. Tim was able to get our order printed, cut, and ready for the event before 4p! Without his hard work we would've been in a really bad spot. Thanks again Office Depot and THANK YOU to Tim for being so awesome today! read more

As far as the staff goes, they're pretty good, friendly and somewhat knowledgable. However, if you are needing to use their copy services and may need to make minor adjustments to paper size (cutting 14x17 down to 11x17) or need to print on anything larger than 30", call ahead of time to make sure their equipment is actually working. Unfortunately, no matter how nice the staff is, the company is failing on providing good, full service. Side note: My examples above were things that happened on various occasions, not just once. This is my first review I have done on Yelp. The reoccurrence of inconveniences are what brought me to make one to give others a heads up before driving all the way to this location to find out they need to drive elsewhere to get their prints made. read more

Janice from the shipping and printing department was awesome! I went in there to spend about $30.00 on some shipping materials and ended up finding and buying tons of useful items for my businesses. Janice also set me up with labels for one of my products that weren't standard sized so, I thought, were pretty much impossible to print on labels. She resized my labels and fit them on a standard size label and was able to print them out for budget pricing! This saved me hours of trial and error which would have inevitably ended up a return. Given the poor reviews I was trepidatious about coming here. You can imaging my shock and surprise then to find I had a good experience at Office Max. I wanted a folding table and a pen refill. Someone came up to me immediately and assisted me with finding what I needed. He brought it to the check out counter for me too, since I don't exactly have Super Woman strength. The check out guy was speedy and polite. He greeted me and offered to take the table out to my car. Perhaps they read the previous reviews and performed some training, but I cannot complain about this visit. read more

I get the one star. Really the only reason I ever come here is the services they offer such as photocopying, printing and faxing, and they are under staffed at this counter. My experience has been the wait is always long, even when there is only one other customer. On my last visit I waited at the counter 15 minutes without any acknowledgment from a single staff person. If Office Max hopes to avoid going the way of other Big Box stores they had best not rely solely on selling staples and copy paper in-store. read more

Printer center sucks. Can never get any of my orders right causing me to have to come back over and over again to get it right. It's ridiculous how many times they can't read simple instructions for printing plain documents. Please provide proper training to your employees on how to read instructions. read more

Their new set up for print and services couldn't be worse. Terrible email, they won't follow up to say of format was unable to open. No support staff as many of us stood in line for a crazy amount of time to be told their computers were bad. I lost a day waiting for flyers now have to start over with another company. The employees are friendly and I like them but they have a bad system of keeping only one person in the printing work station while customers pile up and wait for a long time. It's annoying how I have to line up in a queue for little things to be done. I would rather go to Office Depot instead. read more
