An odd spot in an odd place for some oddcha; I do not think it's a coincidence! It's located in the side of victorian row shops next to the freeway and a busy one way street, I ended up parking across the street just to access this place. There may be parking behind the shop, but the one way streets and amount of cars made me play it safe. You order at a kiosk that makes you stoop over. The menu is definitely more geared towards Marin demographics than your average boba shop, though they do have the staple milk teas and matchas. I ordered a Thai Twister with less sugar and ice, fully expecting it was a Thai tea slush (which is actually a unique drink). Why wouldn't it be when there's cheese cream along the cup edges like the oddcha Matcha, and that they offer a basic Thai tea for the exact same price? Thoroughly disappointed when it was just a Thai MT with some cream cheese spread. I asked an employee to make sure, and they confirmed it was just a thai tea with cheese lol. The thai tea is objectively good, but then again it's REALLY hard to mess up thai tea. Perhaps their other drinks are more of a hit, but it's pretty hard to justify coming here as a non-local who lives across the bridge.

I was on my way home from the dealership when I saw on Yelp that Oddcha was nearby and was highly rated. Operating out of a former home, Oddcha does not offer any dine-in services. Instead, you simply place your order either online, or through the self-service kiosk located out front. There is a window next to the kiosk where they'll place your drink when ready. Ordered a Mango Supreme with Boba and really enjoyed the fresh mango taste, along with the nice and chewy boba. There's not a lot of boba options in San Rafael. But I'm glad Oddcha is one of them. Unbeknownst to me at the time, parking is available in a lot under the freeway on 4th street, behind Oddcha. I instead found street parking 3 blocks away and simply walked over.

This was my first time visiting Oddcha while heading home from San Francisco, and it definitely caught my attention because of the great reviews. We ordered the Coconut Bomb and the Thai Twister, and both drinks were excellent. They weren't overly sweet and had a really refreshing flavor. The boba also tasted fresh, which made the drinks even better. Ordering was easy using their kiosk system. One thing to note is that parking is located behind the shop. It was a bit confusing at first since the store is on a very busy road, but once you find the back parking area, it's much more convenient. Overall, a great stop for refreshing drinks--I'd definitely come back!

Mango tango on the right

The mango tango aka mango sticky rice drink is so good. It's basically a drinkable version of the mango sticky rice dessert - a blend of coconut stocky rice, mango, and coconut milk. It's apparently just a seasonal drink but they should definitely make it a permanent fixture on the menu! I didn't notice any seating, seemed just like a walk up and pick up spot. Also stopping on the main road is tough given traffic but you can pull into the abandoned gas station just slightly ahead near fourth street to step out and grab your drink. They have lots of other interesting sounding drinks that I'll have to try next time!

Nestled in a cute little courtyard, right off of 101, you'll find the cutest little walk up boba spot! Oddcha offers a variety of drink flavors & add-on toppings to customize your drink to your liking. On this occasion, I opted for the Mango Tango -- a delicious drink inspired by one of my favorite desserts, Mango Sticky Rice. The drink was so yummy with actual rice and mango chunks, I wish I would have ordered two of them! I would definitely recommend this spot if you need a quick pit stop or if you are visiting the area.

Oddcha is a cute little spot for a sweet treat in San Rafael! I got an Oddcha matcha, it hit the spot. I got it less sweet and it worked out for me. The matcha smoothie was slightly sweet which paired well with the sweeter brûlée cream and Oreos! You can order off of a screen they have right outside their main window. It does seem like you can also order with someone at the window if needed. Overall, if I'm ever in the area and I'm craving a sweet treat, I wouldn't mind coming back to oddcha!! I love their variety of drink options and my first drink from them was very promising.

High Quality Bubble Tea Drinks [San Rafael CA] This boba tea shop is a casual walk-up window located in San Rafael. We were not familiar with the area but it was a bit confusing at first trying to locate the place because there was nowhere to park close by. We used the parking lot of a dry cleaning place that was reserved for the businesses nearby - just hoping our car wouldn't get towed. Anyway... The structures here looked like former residential homes converted into businesses. Once we walked up to the shop the front of the building isn't really an entrance for the public but for employees only. The Order and Pick-Up window was actually located on the side of the building. We placed our orders using their kiosk - one Matcha Gold and a Double Strawberry Fruit Tea w/ boba, both were blended. Except for the cheese mousse part I really enjoyed my strawberry drink. Hitting this place up again when we're in the area of San Rafael - less the cheese mousse. Actually, the Oreo Brulée Milk Tea sounds good, I wonder if I can have that in smoothie form. Solid matcha spot for the corte madera area! The matcha latte was made with lavender syrup by my request and it didn't disappoint. They use high quality ceremonial grade matcha here.

Just got the creme brulee with oat milk, regular sugar, with mini boba and it was delicious. The burnt topping was chef's kiss, and my husband was sad when the drink was done. My son got the mango supreme, blended, with popping mango jelly. He loved it. It was the perfect summer drink. My husband was a fan of both drinks, and he typically doesn't appreciate boba the way I do. There is a private parking lot underneath the freeway, and a small garden area you can lounge in if you're looking to enjoy your drink before heading off to your next excursion.

Small boba stand that offers a range of boba drinks. We got the mango coconut with boba, which was very refreshing. You order from a stand outside, and there's no designated parking lot so that makes it a bit difficult.

This is refreshing! Mango puree and coconut cream on top of coconut sticky purple rice! It's so delicious!

I was happy to find this in the middle of my day trip on a hot day! Totally saved me of dying from thirst - there aren't too many boba shops around this area. I really liked the historic looking architecture of this "French Quarter". Most boba shops back in Bay Area are just looking like soulless chains unlike here. The menu at oddcha had a pretty good range with many interesting options for sure, including things like cotton candy, which seemed to be geared more towards a western audience. I chose the Double Strawberry ($7.25) wanting something super refreshing. It for sure did the job. I also appreciated being able to adjust my sugar level to 0. However, I found the drink to be too icy overall and lacking enough strawberry flavor. Also seemed like it wasn't blended evenly - the strawberry parts were in random patches throughout the cup. Qualitywise, I do think there's some room for improvement here, especially considering the steep prices. This is likely the best you'll find in the area though, and the staff were very friendly!

This is hands down the best boba spot in San Rafael so far! The drinks are always on point and super refreshing. The only downside is finding parking, but honestly, it's worth the hassle every time!

We don't have any Pho Hoa in the Sacramento area, and this restaurant comes really close to a similar pho noodle bowl to the seafood bowl that I crave. It was a hot day and I felt the air conditioner was not on high enough and it was warm inside. I went with 3 other people. I ordered the spring rolls which came with shrimp. The peanut sauce lacked flavor and overall the spring rolls were okay but weren't anything special. I also ordered the pork and shrimp rice plate. Others in my party ordered soups and a chicken and vegetable rice plate. When I got my order, I was a bit disappointed there were only two thin pieces of pork. It was a pretty small portion and I felt like they skimped on my portion size. The 2 soups that were ordered were large portions and the other chicken and vegetable rice plate had way more food also. The pork and shrimp had good grilled/BBQ flavor but was a bit salty for me. I did really like the pickled carrots, radish, and a cabbage pickled with red peppers. I was surprised my plate came with a soup because it didn't say on the menu. It was a clear chicken broth which was plain and simple but had really good favor. Overall, my experience was okay. The service was okay. We weren't ready to order yet the first time and they took a while to come back to take our order even though there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. They didn't really check on us until way later to see how the food was and to refill water but they did bring us the check. We ended up going up the counter to pay for the meal. The small amount of pork was disappointing considering the portion of the other dishes. I would consider trying this place again if I pass through.

The inside was clean but dated, Upon Entry I was immediately seated, The hostess was very was nice and was able to answer my questions on the menu. Ordered the dinner portion of the Chicken Katsu with rice and macaroni salad, Egg Rolls, and the Fried Gyoza. The Gyoza's came out first, These were really good as they weren't deep fried but pan fried with slightly crispy bottom with chewy top. The sauce that they give you with the Gyoza's went well along with the green onions. The Egg Roles came out next, They were good as well and freshly fried. The sweat and sour sauce went well with the rolls, wasn't too sweet but had a bit of spice as well. The Chicken Katsu plate we next, the Katsu was freshly fried which perfect as it keeps the breading from getting hard or to crunchy and the chicken juicy. The Katsu sauce went well with the chicken rice and macaroni salad as well. Overall I enjoyed my experience and will come back to try other items on the menu in the future. A bit of advice, parking is tough in downtown San Rafael, If you go during prime dining hours expect to have to look for parking if you're driving.
