Came here to meet some family for a chat over a cup of coffee, and I ended up getting the white chocolate mocha, and the ancho frittata from the display case.\ The white chocolate mocha was good, different than a store chain one, and very tasty. The frittata was warmed nicely, and served in a little box. It was a bit denser than I expected, but not in a bad way, just not as fluffy as I imagined. The egg texture was creamy. This place is conveniently located in a shopping plaza so it's the perfect place to grab some caffeine and a snack after running errands. I had a season drink, the pistachio white mocha latte, and unfortunately I didn't like it much because it was just too sweet for me. Our favorite coffee stop in Marin. We love sitting at the outside cafe tables and enjoying a coffee and pastry. I order the salmon lox and cream cheese bagel. I don't know anywhere else you can get a lox and bagel for $7.95! Sure it is just salmon, cream cheese and a bagel, no capers, onions or tomato. But everywhere else a bagel and lox is close to $20, so this is a bargain. I love it. My husband is a huge fan of their mocha drinks. Quality dark chocolate in the mochas. I don't order the coffee because it is too strong for me. I get the Chai latte occasionally but have to ask them to make it less sweet for me because otherwise it is way too sweet. The pastries are ok. Don't ask them to heat them up or they may boil them. The deluxe lox sandwich is good. I ordered a vegetable frittata slice once and it had no vegetables in it. They don't have different kinds of cream cheeses even though they have different kinds of bagels. The prices are typical for Marin. read more

The staff were so nice but the service was a little confused after we got the drink ordered so quickly but the bakery didn't came out. Absolutely love the coffee here & their staff! I tend to order a iced honey lavender latte with oat milk or with non-fat. And in some other cases, I order an iced dirty chai with the same type of milks. They also offer quite a selection of pastries and breakfast goods, as well as limited holiday or seasonal drinks. Everyone here greets you with a warm hello and a big smile. My favorite staff member is Janet. She needs a raise! Always goes above and beyond for me and makes me feel so welcomed. Well, first impression of this place, the pastries and food look amazing! Coffee sounded wonderful! I ordered a white mocha medium size. When I grabbed it off the bar, it felt pretty light and I almost said something but didn't. I got home with my coffee, once whip cream and foam went down, I'm left with half a coffee!! Not happy. I asked the cashier what type of chai mix they use and she said they use a mixture of 50% sweet mix and 50% spicy. So We ended up going to this place because my favorite bagel place on S Novato blvd was close this day. But going to Starbucks probably would have been a better experience. First the cashiers seem to no be happy about working there at all. But the main thing was that I got a half burned bagel for my sons bagel and I found out until I had gotten home. Also I was charged for avocado and never got any avocado and neither of my 3 bagels. I called and explained to them and said they were going to refund me for the order. But it's been 7 days and they have not done anything or seemed to have forgotten or just wanted to get off the phone with me. Regardless. Just think twice before going here. Fun coffee place in Novato! What is with me and coffee shops in Novato? Stopped by after a morning swim and was craving caffeine after a hard swim. The shop is SMALL and narrow. All the tables that are lined up on the side of the shop were taken by regulars who were enjoying their coffee and Saturday morning paper. There really isn't room for a line or anywhere to just wait, so be prepared to do the odd dance of moving around to let people pass and grab their coffees if it is crowded. Lots of fun drinks on the menu- and I loved that I had the option to make my chai latte spicy or sweet. The food looked appetizing and next time I stop by I will grab a bite to eat. This shop is definitely worth checking out if you are shopping at the Nugget or finishing a workout at TDM. read more

These guys are conveniently located right across the way from my eye doctor, however, so I stopped in. They offer their chai in both sweet and spicy, or you can get a 50/50 mix, which is what I did. It's delicious! I love a good chai and this one really was the perfect balance between the two flavors. I also got their blueberry coffee cake.
