    Cinnamon roll pancakes

Update - the avocado toast may be one of the best I've eaten in Marin. Service was attentive especially accommodating my senior loved one who is mobility impaired. And while the outdoor patio was full on a sunny summer day, all the windows open indoors makes for a lovely experience inside too. See you soon!

OH, Lawdy, I've died and gone to heaven. They have Gluten-Free pancakes, Gluten-Free waffles, Gluten-Free bread, and Gluten-Free BISCUITS. I will have to settle for savoring different tastes during each visit.... although so far I can't seem to turn away from the GF cinnamon roll pancakes.... They. Are. Aaamazeballs. To be honest I only have my eyes for the breakfast menu so I'm not even sure what they have for lunch but I'm sure there are GF sandwiches you can choose from. The staff is super friendly and always greets with a smile, making it a pleasant start to an early morning. They get pretty busy weekend mornings but during the week it's been nice and peaceful when I stop by on my way to work. They also have an outdoor patio and you can bring your dog! Great spot to start a morning walk with your furry friend!!

Love their cinnamon roll pancakes! So fluffy and not too sweet! Visited with my mom and her dog. The restaurant was bustling with customers and we entered the waitlist. The line moved pretty fast and we got outdoor seating for the dog. They have LOTS of outdoor seating with umbrellas so you can bring your pets without worrying of overheating them in the sun. There is also indoor seating if you desire that instead. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll pancakes and shared them with my mom. Miracle Mile is known for their pancakes so you know we had to try it. I highly recommend these! They were so good! I also got a side of fruit and it had a good variety of different fruits. This was a perfect breakfast choice for a cool sunny day in San Rafael. I don't visit this area often but when I do I make sure to stop by Miracle Mile Cafe!!!

Pretty solid brunch and lunch here at Miracle Mike Cafe Ordered the cheese burger and the farmers egg benedict. Pretty solid on both those items, tastes good, comes out fast. Good service Only thing which was off putting was price of the meal is pretty high for diner style food. Lunch for 2, no drinks, was $50++

I've now been to this restaurant twice, both times for breakfast/brunch. You have the choice of eating inside or outside. The first time we sat inside and it was very pleasant. But today, the weather was nice so we tried the outside tables. Because of the constant traffic on Fourth Street in San Rafael, we were literally shouting to eachother to be heard. So before the food was served, we moved to another outside table along the side of the restaurant. Noise levels were much better, but we were now without an umbrella or shade. Next time, maybe we'll go back to inside. Service is amazingly fast, friendly, and attentive. And my food was excellent. I usually look for food items that I either can't or won't make at home. The first visit I ordered French Toast, and today their "Famous Cinnamon Roll Pancakes" (the tall stack with three pancakes). I also ordered an egg on the side. Both meals were excellent, with the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes absolutely deserving their fame. Crunchy, super sweet and cinnamony. They served maple syrup on the side, but due to the glaze on the pancakes, it wasn't needed at all. My friend ordered a scramble the first time (unsure if it was custom ordered or off the menu) and an omelette today, beautifully made. Funny, I've lived in the adjacent San Anselmo for 40 years, and clearly this restaurant has been around for decades, but I've only just discovered it. Other than the traffic noise, this might now be my favorite local place for breakfast!

Here what you should know about Miracle Mile Café: I would describe this place as a local treasure where the food and service are very good. It's a great place to meet up over breakfast or lunch. 1) It is right off Fourth Street in San Rafael. If you are sitting outside, it can get noisy. Traffic can get congested at times, so be prepared. 2) The parking lot is small, however street parking is available. 3) Very dog friendly. I brought my pooch on a rainy day. There is a covered area where I set up a dog bed and it was dry, even on a cold, rainy day. Doggy enjoyed looking out at the traffic congestion and took it all in. 4) The food. I ordered a full stack of cinnamon roll pancakes, a side of two scrambled eggs and coffee. The pancakes weren't overly sweet and you get actual, real maple syrup here and not some high fructose corn syrup concoction. 5) When one considers the quality of the food, the fact that my food arrived hot and fresh, and my waiter was personable, I felt my meal was worth it and was willing to spend a bit more for it. When I next come in, I will try the Master Combo that is only available Monday thru Friday. One pancake (any flavor), two bacon or two link sausage and two eggs for $20.95.

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to try this place with my in laws so we made the 40 minute drive to check it out. This place is in a nice location with both indoor and outdoor dining. We were immediately greeted by our server who had an awesome attitude and really set the tone for our experience! She was super awesome and was giving off some awesome vibes! Each of us ordered something different and we shared the cinnamon roll pancakes which were awesome! We all seemed to enjoy our food and my wife really liked the tofu breakfast wrap! On our table was a small container of house made salsa which was also good. This place has a great team of hard workers! I appreciate that the owner was present and asked everyone (including us) how their meal/experience was!

Miracle Mile is damn good. It's a restaurant that deserves to be at a beach front resort with hundreds of people in line for their famous cinnamon roll pancakes. Lucky for me, it's in an unassuming location tucked away in San Rafael. The pancakes aren't the only good thing, everything tastes amazing here. I've ordered to go quite a number of times, sometimes for large groups and they DO NOT disappoint. They come through for take out orders just like they do in person. Staff is super friendly, super accommodating, and they make you feel welcomed. I've eaten at the resto once, cute spot with a backdrop and mural for photo ops. I also liked the mimosa flight, yum! I hope this place continues to thrive, and grows outside of Marin. Food and service is top notch!

Okay so the food was delicious, but we were really blown away by how attentive and on top of everything the entire staff was! Even though it was a busy Saturday brunch, we were seated immediately and everything went so weirdly smoothly that I felt compelled to write this review (it's not often that a restaurant experience is so good that you actually notice the lack of anything negative!) You can tell there is a lot of love and care put into this place, and it's a super cute brunch spot. Colorful umbrellas and quirky home decor, great service, and yummy food :)

Corned beef Benedict, cinnamon roll pancakes, Peruvian steak sandwich

One of the best brunches I've had in a long time! Everything was spot on from the friendly service to the comfortable patio seating to the delicious food. I'm a bit tired of all the trendy Asian fusion brunch places, so Miracle Mile Cafe was a breath of fresh air with their menu offering the classics as well as Peruvian and Mexican dishes. Their cinnamon roll pancakes are magical! They're fluffy yet crispy on the edges and somehow made to be swirled with crevices filled with cinnamon - a must get treat! Perhaps the best pancakes I've ever had. The corned beef Benedict hit the spot, and I loved that the grilled bell pepper and onion bits made the dish feel not too heavy. Their housemade salsa had a fragrant roasted flavor and paired well with the side of home fries. The Green Mile smoothie with mango, kale, banana, and coconut water was perfect for me. The steak in the Peruvian steak sandwich was a tad dry but still fine when eaten all together in the sandwich with the tomatoes and sauce. My boyfriend enjoyed his mocha made with Ghirardelli chocolate. I definitely recommend this spot!

A couple of outdoor areas, some under shade with picnic tables. Located in Marin County, California, The Lodge in Fairfax is an iconic, historic establishment built in 1908 by the Arbini and Segale families as The Old Timer's Saloon, serving as the town's very first bar. After years of being utilized differently, the building underwent an extensive two-year restoration. The owners of the San Francisco bike shop Big Swingin' Cycles purchased the property, upgrading its infrastructure, adding a kitchen, and building a large, dog-friendly outdoor beer garden. You get that feeling that you really are at a lodge at the lake in Wisconsin. At least for a minute, it brings back memories. However, in place of the white and red pine trees are the gorgeous redwoods providing shade. Nice tap beer list with healthy portions served. I had the mushroom tacos, vegetarian style with a little salad and chips $10 and a half a beer. My lunch mate had the summer salad with chicken added $25 bucks which is a little steep, but certainly enough for two people. Served in a very large bowl. It's quite impressive. I would forgo the protein and save the six bucks extra. Great spot, great service, great ambience, great food, and beer. Walk, drive your car, or bicycle in. There are a bike racks and some parking on site.

This was a nice way to spend a few hours. The space is neat. It's as small, somewhat dark ambiance with the windows blacked out. So, you do loose your sense of time a bit inside. That's actually nice as it feels like you went somewhere/somewhen else for a while. We had a Manhattan and a Kentucky Mule, and, additionally, we had three different shareable appetizers. First thought, we ordered and devoured a really exceptional cheese plate. I know cheese plates seem a little meh sometimes, but this was really good! I would absolutely order it again. In fact, I would definitely go there just to have the cheese plate again with a drink, a glass of wine. We also had the three tacos shareable. There were three tacos that were stunningly good. Lastly a dish with some little steak medallions and a shrimp. Each of these was about two bites and the flavor and texture was excellent. All three of the shareables and the drinks were exceptional. I have to call out that, with the cheese board, came a little loaf of bread. That bread was really good all on its own. I would definitely want to eat it. I can still taste it. It was really good, but my wife, she's gluten intolerant. They offered, because she couldn't eat the bread, they offered to also bring her out some gluten-free crackers, so she got to enjoy the cheese board just the same without the bread. They gave her the crackers, and do you know, they just gave her those extra. They didn't ask for something more. They didn't do anything. They just took care of her. I really appreciate that. I have to also give a shout out to the Jessica. I don't know how she did it, but she was taking care of the whole room of tables I think. Nice. We ordred all three shareables at the same time and she thoughtfully said, 'do you mind if I course these out for you?' We said yes and she did. I don't think anybody felt like they didn't have everything they needed, so a shout out to you, Jessica, really well done. We're grateful for the service and the high quality dining experience that you gave us on a moment's notice. I hope we can visit again soon. And, especially we want to check out The Boardroom soon. NOTE: This is in a kind of older looking strip mall. Don't be concerned about that at all! It threw us off a little at first and we did wonder when we pulled in though if we were in the right place. Happily, we were!

Our server was warm and friendly, bringing us water promptly. We started off with an order of beignets. It arrived with three big pieces. They were freshly fried and doused in powdered sugar. So good! My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles, while I decided to try the everything gumbo. The chicken and waffles was huge! It came with several pieces of fried chicken that was topped with freshly minced garlic and came with a homemade spicy sauce. My daughter loved it! I tried a bite and thought it was tasty as well. She ended up taking half of it home. The everything gumbo was also delicious! It was a little thin in my opinion, but the flavor was amazing! It was truly authentic and I could taste all the seafood that was in it. I finished my entire bowl! Unlike the chicken and waffle, it was appropriately sized. When I went to pay the bill, there was a sign that said "free beignets if you pay cash." So of course, I paid our bill in cash! Luckily, I had enough cash on me. Can't pass up a deal like that! All in all, it was a very enjoyable meal! If I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely go back to The Hummingbird!

This spot is pretty casual, as in you order at the counter before grabbing a number and sitting at a table. As opposed to a food hall, you get directed where you sit before ordering, and sometimes end up sharing a table with another party, especially in my case when you have a party of 2. Service was attentive and food came out at a decent pace, though they did not come all together. I ordered a large Bistec Sandwich and a Pasteles Special. The Bistec sandwich is a must order, and I recommend ordering the sandwich over the plate due to how fragrant the bread was. Pictures might not look like much, but the bread was sooo good and crispy, and they give a good balance of meat, avocado and veggies. It can be a little heavy, but a large sandwich was perfect for my wife and I to share along with another plate. The Pastales was alright - the rice is pretty unique if you're looking for new flavors, but the pork was a little stinky and dry. The hot sauce on the table is really good and managed to mitigate that, and it's not as spicy as you'd think given the color and smell. The banana leaf in the tamale made it really fragrant with a unique taste, and the lemon sauce on the salad balanced the entire plate out. For a party of 2, I recommend ordering the Bistec Sandwich in large size (since I believe the regular price only gives you half) and another plate. I also recommend using the toast tab (online order) to look at the menu over their actual menu; the UI of it makes it hard to choose what to order and the toast menu has pictures next to the menu item. Given that Marin food options can be quite expensive or fancy, this place is the perfect place to go for a unique food spot, especially if you're coming from SF.
