Nowhere in my complaint did I request any extension of the so-called "guarantee." When the original treatment was unsuccessful, I contacted the company and they responded by setting up a follow-up treatment. My complaint is that the follow-up treatment was not a valid fulfillment of the guarantee. I showed the staff member where the spiders and webs were and he acknowledged that they were a problem. Then the staff member only stayed a short time and performed a cursory treatment that was utterly ineffective. As the original guarantee was not fulfilled, I have requested a refund for the service. They continue to stonewall and refuse to fulfill their guarantee. read more

I'll begin by saying I've waited a few weeks before writing this review because I trust Yelp reviews and wanted to offer accurate & honest feedback. We had been using another big name pest control service for 10+ years but overtime the quality of work declined and we were needing more in-between or follow up visits to our standard bi-monthly service so we determined it was time to find a new provider. Not one to embrace change I was skeptical until Andy came out to service our property. He listened to our needs & concerns for preventative measures. He was thorough, attentive to detail and took his time. He offered feedback regarding areas that could potentially invite other pests and made sure to treat our hedges in the back to evict bugs (mosquitoes & spiders). Prior to his visit we saw many big mosquitoes but since then out home feels bug proof. Oceanfront has been treating our ants problems for years. Our technician Andrew, showed up on time, was very respectful and wore a mask the whole time. In addition, he was very understanding of our time, we were not ready for him to come inside when he first arrived, so he started outside, then came in when we were ready, and then finished outside. Another impressive point is that despite all the current challenges on many establishments, they stay the same price and still provided the same excellent customer service. Second time using Oceanfront and second time I had a great experience. First time was several years ago when I moved into my home. We had lots of silverfish, ants, etc. the technicians are super knowledgeable and explain where they are coming from and not only take care of the bugs you see but the ones you don't, like where the colonies of ants are in your yard or where spiders are camping out, etc. First time I used them, they immediately took care of all the issues and I haven't had any again for a years. This year I was noticing a lot of black widows around the house and didn't wanna risk any of my kids getting bit. I wanted to provide an update regarding this business since I just saw this review that I wrote back in 2019. I don't know how time is moving faster and faster but as of now, January 2022, I have been using Oceanfront for 13 years. In short I am still using them and that in itself should speak volumes. They run a top notch operation, and in the off chance occurrence of a problem (notoriously stubborn ants in my case) they will not stop till the problem is resolved. We have been using Oceanfront Pest Control to service our 4200 square feet, 3 level home since 2015. The house is built into a hillside; yet these guys are able to scale our hillside to make sure every area around the house is sprayed down so that the critters don't enter our house. Due to its location, house centipedes essentially co-exist with us all through the year. With the quarterly service (we purchased an annual plan), they are able to prevent the house centipedes from crawling out of the hillside and into our house. We've also have had rodents and these guys have come out immediately to eradicate the problem. Additionally, we had a super- ant infestation a few years ago. They came out and terminated the problem pretty much immediately. The family-owned operation (managed by 2 brothers - Andy and Lucas) are so nice, so pleasant, so professional and easy to work with. Oceanfront also uses an organic, non-lethal (to pets and humans), odorless pesticide. We have a 3-year old rabbit (who by nature are super sensitive and fragile), which we remove from the house during the spray, and she hasn't had any problems. Additionally, the administrative staff is super warm and friendly. They respond immediately to all emails and any messages that you leave on their voicemail. We would definitely recommend Oceanfront to anyone who is looking for continued insect maintenance and/or occasional insect/rodent control. read more

Oceanfront Pest Control are complete life savers! We recently purchased a new home and to our surprise (and horror) we discovered we had a rodent problem. Andy came out the very next day to check everything out for us and confirmed our fear. He was very patient, explained exactly what they would do to get rid of the problem, and offered a six month guarantee. They sealed all of the entry points around the house and set traps in the attic and garage areas. It's been a few weeks and so far so good (knock on wood). I want to start my review from the lady whom I talked on the phone- Julia. She was so professional and patient! Since it was my first time looking for a pest control service, I had many questions. Unlike other companies I talked to, Julia took time to understand and answered all questions I had. Due to my accent, I always feel intimated talking on a phone, however, Julia made the phone conversation so easy and pleasant! After having met Andy for the first time, I knew whom I will go to if I will need this kind of service again in the future. Yes, I saved their phone number on my phone. He was so friendly and professional! He did a thorough general pest control for me - yes, every corner of the house! Another thing I want to mention is the product they use- it had tiny bit smell as Andy was spraying (I was in the house as he was working.) but it didn't bother me at all. And I noted Andy didn't wear a mask so I asked him why, he said the product they use is green and not harmful for human and pets at all, so he didn't need a mask. I went back to the house a couple hours later, I couldn't smell anything anymore as I was informed. Moreover, besides a vast knowledge and experience about pest control, I found this guy actually is also a real estate expert! More importantly, he is such a warm hearted person who is willing to help people and share his expertise and experience! During our conversation, I couldn't help asking him "hey, Andy, who are you?" These guys are good! We have rats in the yard, and wanted to get a preventative inspection to make sure they don't get into the house. I was a little weary when they changed our appointment time, but this was right around the daylight savings time change, and the receptionist explained our inspector would need to arrive earlier to see our home before the sun sets. Well, he arrived right on time and did a great job inspecting every part of our yard and home. He gave really clear and easy to follow instructions for patching up any entry points, and ensured us that we were in pretty good shape already (no intrusions so far), and would be all set if we followed those few recommendations. He offered to come back and make the fixes if we needed him to, but they were easy enough to do ourselves and that way we could save some cash. Overall, very pleased with our experience and they will be our go-to pest company as needed in the future. It's too bad they don't do termites! If they ever did, we'd use them in a heartbeat. read more

We just moved to a new house and Oceanfront helped eliminate a sewer roach problem we encountered on our first week! They came out the same day we called and addressed the issue immediately. They also explained that it could take a few days for the treatment to work. So far so good...no gross bugs in sight! I waited a bit to write this review, because I wanted to make sure I was giving accurate feedback and not just reviewing the immediate aftermath. First off, I just want to say that I'd gladly have just paid the money to hang out with Bradley Cooper for an hour or two. I know he has a name. He knows he has a name. And maybe it's just me, but I think he looks a bit like Bradley Cooper, and I will call him thusly. Either way, he's a cool guy. We've used this company twice now, for different kinds of pests: -Rats: We were having problems with roof rats, which culminated in one dying inside our ceiling. We weren't sure this was the case, but suspected it. He detected the smell immediately and helped us locate all possible entrances for the rats. He was also honest about the fact that we could handle it ourselves and if we used them to "exterminate" it'd be a waste of money of sorts. He was right, and here we are 5 months later rat-free in every way. -Ants: One spray and we have had a significant drop in our ant problem for the past month. Because of where they spray inside for the ants we still had an issue for a while of dead ants accumulating in a bathroom and one second invasion from an unsprayed area, but they were happy to come back out and do a second spray free of charge to ensure we'd have no problems going forward.
