Not sure how far out they go but am absolutely spreading their business card around. We called Oceanfront Pest Control to service our home after seeing an influx of ants and spiders likely due to the summer heat. We had our home treated 3 years ago (we hadn't seen any ants and only an occasional spider in this time) by another company that was bought out, so I decided to give Oceanfront a call. After the initial full home treatment, we waited 7-10 days and still saw ants and spiders throughout the home so technicians were sent out in two separate occasions for spot treatment and once more for a full home retreatment. After FOUR visits from the technicians (all of whom were very courteous and professional), our pest problems continue. There has been no difference in the number of ants and spiders we see, if anything we have seen more spiders since being treated than ever before. We chalked this up to the pests getting pushed out of their homes, but after 4 treatments, it's ridiculous to have to deal with them. Two stars because the staff is responsive and professional. First Time Our biggest problem, black widow spiders, and other disgusting spiders in our back & front yard. We didn't want to sign a contract and also wanted to find a reputable company to get rid of all of those spiders. We contacted Liz of Oceanfront Pest Control via email and she was super helpful and patient with me as it took me a month or two to get back to her on committing to a treatment. We decided to pay $188 for service which includes the removal of cobwebs inside/outside and spray treatments inside and outside. I think that this is a good price for the scope of work. Although, I decided not to treat the inside of the house since it wasn't a problem and because I would have had to clean up the house from the kids' toys on the floor, etc...so they came out and treated our garage, front/back yard, and shed. Andy, the Field Supervisor came out and treated the "problem" places and was helpful in suggesting how to make areas less appealing to pests. read more
