Twin Lobster Tails
Alyson W.

Got takeout and it was great. Twin lobster tails were tender, tasty, with plenty of butter on the side, and easy to eat. The chocolate torte was soooo delicious as well. Can't wait to order from here again.

Always a fun place for good quality drinks and exceptional food , we sat in the bar area and enjoyed cocktails and champagne and complimentary truffle popcorn.

Amazing atmosphere not only at its location with proximity to larimer square but also the decor and environment inside. Our server was great, very friendly and energetic but not overbearing either. Got us a few items waived with discount too. Food itself was also delicious. The warm bread basket was a big surprise, a variety of bread freshly made and extremely soft. Steak and sides were amazing!

I very rarely order chicken when I eat out but I decided to try something different than times past while dining at OP. Let me say it did not disappoint. It was very juicy and flavorful. I am not a fan of chicken breasts but if they all tasted like this I would change my mind. :) Delicious!!! And the spinach bread salad was the perfect compliment to the dish. I sat at the bar and Mike was amazing. Gave great recommendations when ordering and was friendly and funny with everyone at the bar. A great meal for sure! @oceanprimelarimersquare, #oceanprime, #acameronmitchellreataurant, #greatfood

We chose Ocean Prime to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, with my mother in law joining us. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, though it seemed the staff was a bit puzzled at first. They escorted us upstairs to our table, and we noticed a few curious looks. It turned out my husband had noted our anniversary on the reservation, and since we were a party of three, no one was quite sure whose anniversary it was! Once we clarified, everyone laughed, and the ice was broken -- it made for a fun start to the evening. We started with drinks, and if you enjoy a good espresso martini, I highly recommend ordering one here -- perfectly balanced and delicious. For appetizers, I had the spicy tuna sushi, which was better than many sushi restaurants I've tried. For my entrée, I chose the grouper with homemade gnocchi -- absolutely incredible, even compared to some of the best seafood spots in Florida. My husband started with the creamy lobster bisque and also ordered the grouper, while my mother had the scallops, which were large and beautifully cooked. We finished the evening with their warm butter cake -- it literally melted in our mouths. The service throughout the night was attentive and impressive. As we drove home, we all said the same thing: "Why don't we come here more often?" Thank you, Ocean Prime, for an amazing evening and a memorable anniversary celebration.

Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned -$20 - Excellent!

Came in with a party of four for a local business event. Had a great time, lots of options and took care of one person that had some dietary restrictions. I had the Salmon and it was large in size and definitely with a few shared sides plenty for me :-) Had the yummy Old Fashioned and service was top notch throughout our stay. Nice area around the location and would love to come back if in town. Prices are in line with other top locations around the country, and the service and options they provide :-)

Possibly the best ahi tartare ever
Bruce E.

Our group of 6 was met promptly and guided to large comfortable table that made conversation easy. Soon a delicious crab cake arrive and cooked as request. Also there was possibly the best ahi tuna tartare I've ever tasted. Next was a blackened red snapper which was cooked perfectly as well but the star was a beautiful grouper with lobster, gnocchi, spring peas and a hint of lemon jus Dessert were good but the surprise star was a peanut butter pie with a deep chocolate shell. Everyone at the table had a fork out for a second bite of it. Service was attentive and relaxed. A great evening with great food

We had a fantastic experience here. Definitely recommend making reservations, though our friends have been able to sit at the bar without one. We parked nearby using SpotHero, but valet service is also available. Service: Excellent. The staff was super attentive, kept our waters full, checked in regularly, and gave great food tips. Drinks: Black Orchid - Fruity, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. Old Fashioned - Classic and well-balanced - had to order a second. Food: Sonoma goat cheese ravioli, 5/5 Incredible. The flavors worked so well together. A must-get. Warm bread basket, 4/5 Delicious variety. Our server suggested dipping it in the ravioli sauce, and wow - a game changer! Smoked gouda tater tots, 5/5 Crispy, cheesy, and perfect. If you love potatoes, don't skip this. Black truffle mac & cheese, 3.5/5 Good, but not standout during dinner (though surprisingly very tasty as leftovers). Bacon creamed spinach, 4/5 Solid side to balance out the rest of the meal, but would try something else next time. 7oz Australian wagyu filet, 5/5 Phenomenal. Melt-in-your-mouth tender. Worth the splurge. If you're looking for a sign to get this, this is it! Warm butter cake, 5/5 Got this for my birthday dessert. Comes with berries and ice cream. So good! Overall: 5/5 Amazing service, incredible food, and a great vibe. Perfect for a celebration or a special night out.

Ahi Tuna

this restaurant is very fancy and expensive. the low lighting and slick furniture/kitchenware is a vibe. i enjoyed my raw oysters and ahi tuna steak very much. however, my martini was not strong at all. hate when a $20 drink doesn't deliver. my server was very nice and checked in appropriately.

Stopped in a very busy Ocean Prime last night and the hostess and bar staff were just the sweetest. I was having a mom son day downtown before seeing a musical and completely spaced getting a reservation anywhere. We came in to Ocean Prime at around 530pm and were initially told they didn't have any availability until 830pm. They saw the concern on my face because this had been happening everywhere we went and immediately got ahold of the bar staff to get us a spot (we needed up downstairs). The bar staff working last night (10/25/25) were the absolute best! They were so busy upstairs and down but were so accommodating. We ordered the breadbasket and it was super yummy. The kid ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and I got the surf and turf appetizer, since I saw how busy they were and I just didn't want to be late to the show! This place is definitely not cheap so if I had more time and didn't already spend a pretty penny on other things that day I'd have splurged on more food and desserts for sure! We both enjoyed our food and will come back again with reservations next time ! Thanks to everyone at Ocean Prime who helped make our fun day out even more better :)

Bread basket

Amazing service and food. We came to celebrate my sister's graduation. There were 9 adults and 1 child. They have a good variety of options for everyone. The kids menu looked amazing too! The bread basket was delicious. Their sides are family style so it was nice to be able to try a little of everything. I wish I had taken more photos of the food but it was so good we just went right in. Our waiter Jonathan was also great! Would definitely return again when we're in town.

Service was great. Sat at the bar. Great energy and vibes here. This sushi roll was amazing

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

I had the eggs Benedict with duck, which was savory and tender- would get again, even if it was a little small for a $22 meal. Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino).
