    HS Greek Bowl

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're going purely for the vibes, this place absolutely delivers. The ambiance is immaculate--fun, coastal, and just a great overall energy. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for that alone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That said, the food and service didn't quite live up to the atmosphere. Drinks are on the pricier side, and they were already out of a red wine (Shiraz) early on, which felt a bit odd. We started with calamari, Brussels sprouts, and truffle fries--those were all solid and great for sharing. For mains, the burger and pasta were highlights, and the Greek bowl was good overall, though the chicken was unfortunately overcooked. I also asked for tzatziki on the side when my bowl arrived, and it didn't come out until we were basically done eating. There were also a few service hiccups. One person in our group ordered a prime rib sandwich without mayo or horseradish, but it came out with both. They remade it, but the replacement didn't arrive until after the rest of us had finished eating. She ended up taking it to go--and frustratingly, it still had mayo and horseradish on it. We were also surprised it wasn't taken off the bill. To their credit, the manager was very kind and gave us a gift card, which we really appreciated. The staff overall was friendly, just noticeably slow, especially given that the restaurant wasn't very busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall: great vibes, decent food, inconsistent service. I'd come back for drinks and the atmosphere, but not necessarily for a full dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Honestly - I've never had a bad time here. Their happy hour is FIRE. $1.50 oysters can't be beat! It's wild the price difference outside of happy hour for oysters. Also $9 martinis on happy hour. A different time, I got the lobster roll and it was drool worthy. It was stupid expensive but that's pretty typical for lobster rolls right now. It was truly delicious though. Perfect amount of mayo/sauce and lemon. I don't like when they are super lemony. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also they had live music in the bar area on weekday happy hour which was super pleasing to the ears[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is huge so easy spot for groups and sadly they are never full so you can easily find a spot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Met up with a friend for a late happy hour and did not realize the happy hour is ONLY in the bar. So we didn't realize this and got charged full price on our drinks and food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is bright and almost like sea-fairy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good, granted we were the only ones in there. The food was a great star. The oysters were delicious, both east and west. The shrimp was perfectly sauced and a minor kick of spice. Brussels was super sweet and savory blend. Drinks: the Pink Reverie and One of the Margaritas, crafted with perfection. Overall I would be back, but it is on the higher side of price.

If you go to the Hampton Social, PLEASE get the frosé. If there is one thing you take away from this review, it is that. It is the best I've ever had! Our server was so wonderful and very attentive! We unfortunately spilled our frosé and he got us a new one and was very chill about it. He also gave great recommendations on the menu! The pretzels were really good, nicely balanced. The spicy vodka pasta was alright. I've had better and I've had worse. The short rib was so tender and the sweet polenta was really interesting! It was a little too sweet in my opinion, but still good nonetheless! The carrots are also good. Everything was good, but nothing was out of this world. I think you come here for the vibe and drinks! The actual restaurant is so freaking cute. I love the hanging decor and beachy vibe. It is gorgeous and great for a girls night out.

Went here for a friend's birthday! Great atmosphere and calm relaxing vibe. Pay to park street parking all around the area. The inside is huge and there's a second level with rooftop access! The theme is beach front and it was well kept with the decor and menu item names! None of my friends drink, so we all got the mermaid mist. It had blue raspberry, Sprite, and glitter. Normally, when we order mocktails places will charge us the same price as an alcoholic beverage, even though we are getting essentially juice. We thought this was a really great price for a fun mocktail. Only five dollars! We got the Parmesan truffle fries as an appetizer to share. They were hot and fresh and topped with Parmesan galore. Highly recommended for your appetizer. I forgot what my friends got, but I got the burger. I added tater tots as my side. It is an additional charge. The burger was cooked to my liking and I thought it was really juicy and fresh! Because we were celebrating a birthday, we got two desserts! We got the donut drops and churro cake. There was enough for everybody to share. They both were very sweet and came with a scoop of ice cream. Overall, I thought this was a really great experience and a fun place to celebrate. It is a little pricey, so just keep that in mind for the budget, but it's definitely worth it.

We made a weekday dinner reservation, but with how spacious the venue is, you could probably walk in without much issue. Parking is definitely tricky, there's street parking all around, but it was surprisingly busy, so it took some time to find a spot. I did see a parking garage nearby as well, so you have options. Service: 5/5 The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. While we were taking photos at the entrance before we left, one of the team members kindly offered to snap a group pic for us - a thoughtful touch! Throughout the evening, service was attentive and friendly, with frequent check-ins to make sure we were taken care of. Drinks: Starlit espresso martini: Smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced. You get the choice between vodka or tequila (went with vodka and were not disappointed). Sand and smoke: Their creative twist on an old fashioned. It was so good - ordered two. Smoky, rich, and incredibly well-executed. Hampton frosé: Their signature drink, and it lives up to the hype. Sweet but balanced, with a sugared rim that complements it perfectly. Pro tip: Ask for a straw, it makes a big difference with this frozen treat. Food: Coopers beach calamari: Excellent starter - crispy, well-seasoned, and served with tasty sauces that made it perfect for sharing. Fresh oysters: Super fresh and flavorful. We ordered a dozen but only received half a dozen initially. Our server apologized for the mistake, and honestly, it worked out since we had plenty of food. Smash burger: A burger lover's dream. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Don't skip the tater tots on the side, they were crispy and addictive. Crispy coconut tofu: I'm not usually a tofu person, but this dish blew me away! The textures, the flavors, the mango salsa - all of it came together beautifully. Even the plantains, which I don't typically like, were delicious. This is a must-try, even for meat-eaters! Overall 5/5 The Hampton Social exceeded all expectations. Between the welcoming staff, fantastic drinks, and standout dishes (seriously, try that tofu), it's an easy 5/5. Whether you're visiting Denver or a local looking for your new favorite dinner spot - this is it!

Have been here a few times now. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the bright and coastal decor and the fact that they have live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've found the service to be lacking sometimes and the food to be quite pricey for the quality. The exception to that is the happy hour oysters which are a great deal! Last visit I had the salmon which was good, my husband had the mac n cheese which was small and basic for the cost.

Very nice restaurant with indoor and patio seating. We were greeted and asked if we wanted water and since we'd been out walking were thirsty. She asked if ??? was okay and I said yes not knowing I was going to be charged $9 for a bottle of water. We looked at a menus for the happy hour. Very limited and non filing choices if drinking. Pricey for dressed up basic food. The tenders were fresh and tasty but $18 for four tenders is absurd. The pizzas were good but not great. We had a couple of drinks and they were tasty. Honestly we left hungry we wanted more but it wasn't worth the prices. Watch the auto gratuity! Good for cocktails

Came here for a friend's birthday and had a great time. We were seated on the patio at dusk and the views were marvelous. We had two servers, Alec and Connor, both were very helpful and attentive. Alec went above and beyond by providing edible glitter for my friend to add to her birthday tea. It was gorgeous. We ordered several items from the menu and all were quite tasty. To start, the calamari was cooked well and was paired with a lovely sauce. The west coast oysters were delicious as well. I ordered the lobster roll (hot) and it was very good. I would've rather had the fries or side salad over the tots, but definitely not a big deal, just my preference. The girls ordered the truffle Mac n cheese, glazed salmon, and the shrimp tacos. Everybody loved their meal. Also GET THE PARMESAN TRUFFLE FRIES! So delicious. When we told Connor it was our friend's birthday, he brought out 3 n/a birthday shots and one regular as well as a sparkler in a champagne glass. They were so fun and delicious!definitely made the night special. It was sweet of him to match the drinks to our preferences. We would all definitely come back here.

Fresh oyster and seafood in the middle of Midwestern state like Colorado. It was pretty early hour to dine in LoHi so the venue felt more private. The server was very attentive and everything came out very fast. The decor was straight to the point with beach vibe. Oysters were fresh (east cost ones are my preferred choice) and happy hour specials definitely are not to be missed such as roasted Brussels sprouts and tuna tartar. Although skirt steak with the balsamic glaze was too sweet for savory eater like me but overall experience was delightful!

Fish sandwich. I did not like the cheddar.

This was my first Culinary Dropout experience which was on a date night and dinner outing. There was ~45 minute wait for a table as it was "dinner rush hour" before the weekend. We were seated in the bar area at a high top so we were very close to live music performer! So that was an enjoyable portion of the experience! The interior was dimly lit, loud and lively, and offered a rustic but modern feel. Based on this experience, food was overpriced and mediocre. We tried the fish and chips ($23) and fried chicken ($26). We were disappointed the fish and chips were not served with fresh lemon to "baptize" the fried fish. Fries were limp and didn't seem fresh. Also thought the fried fish should have had a crispier crust. The fried chicken was good flavor and texture on fried crust but the white meat was very dry. Mashed potatoes and gravy were lukewarm and not served hot. Also I tried to season the mashed potatoes but the pepper grinder at the table was completely empty. Biscuit was dry, overcooked, and lacked butter. Probably will opt for other options next date night.

As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

We ordered the salmon Sashimi to start (epic), the Hipster Wedge salad, (yummmm) and the filet Champion style. THAT was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Incredible. The service was outstanding, the lighting/ ambiance were perfect. Pearl Street in Denver is a cool little district to walk around when the weather is nice too. Loved the area! We will be back!

The Wolf's Tailor has solidified itself as my favorite restaurant in the world for years. I went…read morebefore they acquired their first star and it was nothing short of a perfect experience. I did the mocktail pairing and each drink was designed to use the same ingredients as were used in the accompanying dish, such as a carrot puree, cucumber agua fresca, and honey soda. Every ingredient is locally sourced, including the grain and wheat which they mill themselves. The service made us all feel appreciated, with each of us having our own server delivering our food and drinks. They all chatted with us and it was a very personal experience. Each course was better than the last. I didn't know bread could be as good as what we ate that night. I have also met Chef Kelly who is incredibly kind and we discussed his philosophy on the restaurant. I have nothing but glowing opinions of The Wolf's Tailor. It should be the #1 stop for anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Denver.

Wow moments - an ice cream cone, miniature "popcorn", and delicious cocktails. But... the food tonight overall didn't live up to the 2-star billing. My first issue: I left hungry. And I'm not a big dude. 165 soaking wet. That really shouldn't happen. We've been to a bunch of two-stars in NY, DC, Tokyo, and Paris, and they mostly program in a heartier, larger main at some point that lets the guest fill up. The wagyu was tasty but... it was probably 3oz of steak. Second: the service was over the top. We had two trainees tonight, and man were they trying hard. The descriptions bordered on melodrama, and they really struggled with interrupting and trying to subtly hurry along one of the slower eaters among us. That really shouldn't happen at this level. Too much service; it shouldn't be noticed when it's done right. We love the Michelin guide. Wolf's Tailor is a gem, and it certainly deserves a star. But the overall experience fell short of two tonight. I hate to include it here, but we had a better meal at Beckon (1 star) a couple nights ago.

Drew was a great server, very attentive and made great recommendations for a solo diner. I enjoyed a glass of Grenache rose and the half portion of Goat Cheese Gnudi. The Gnudi were the fluffiest pillows of yum and the lamb ragù made it the perfect amount of filling for a late evening meal.

July 28, 2026 - Denver, CO…read more After a midday hike on the Cherry Creek Trail, we were looking for a shaded, dog-friendly patio to escape the heat. As we wandered through Larimer Square, the menu posted outside Rioja caught my eye, and we decided to stop for lunch. I'm so glad we did. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Our pup was immediately greeted with a bowl of ice water, and despite the hot afternoon, our own water glasses were never allowed to get empty. Those little touches made us feel genuinely welcome. We started with the Summer Harvest Salad ($14) with Rebel Farms greens, freekeh, crème fraîche, pistachios, and fresh herbs. The kitchen thoughtfully split it into two bowls for us, and it was one of the best salads I've ever had--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. For our entrée, we shared the Dumpling Lasagna ($18), made with duck sausage, mushroom ramen broth, egg roll dough, chili crunch, and green onions. It was unlike any lasagna I've ever tasted, wonderfully creative and absolutely delicious. Although it couldn't be plated separately, they provided extra plates so we could easily share. We couldn't resist dessert and ordered the Flourless Fudge Torte ($14) with milk chocolate ganache, cherry compote, and vanilla crème anglaise. It was every bit as decadent and delicious as it sounds, and the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Between the exceptional food, attentive service, and welcoming patio, we left feeling pampered, well-fed, and truly appreciated.
