Had a great time tonight. The 20 piece sashimi was awesome. Great service. Love the atmosphere. All the staff are so friendly. Highly recommend.

Everything is so amazing!!

This place is amazing!! My family and I have been going here for a year or so now and we keep coming back because it's so good. They have a deal going on right now that's $3 sushi on the belt Tuesday, Wednesday and Sundays! Come if you want delish sushi and good vibes!

A solid sushi spot for quick service. The conveyor belt is regularly full of classic rolls and some sashimi items. The miso soup and yakisoba from the ordering menu is also a nice add on to complement the sushi.

The sushi was so fresh & amazingly delicious! Staff is super friendly & impressed even the owner was working & interacting with us & other customers! Visually the presentation of sushi ordered was amazing as well! Definitely recommend!

Fat and skin filled salmon roll.

My sushi had salmon skin and fat still attached!! It was delivered through DD and for whatever reason my review wasn't posted!! I've never had this happen anywhere. Why would the sushi bar send me 2 salmon rolls that were knowingly not prepared to minimum standards. I lost my appetite and couldn't eat my meal. If they have the audacity to make sell rolls like that and basically flip you the proverbial bird, what else can you expect? See my pictures I can't make it up.

This spot is a little closer to us than the usual conveyor belt sushi joint we normally go to so we decided to give them a try. The restaurant itself was very clean & looks nice, there is plenty of seating and their belt seems to go by at a pretty decent pace, so you won't have to sit around waiting forever for the dishes to go by. Aside from what is on the belt they have a menu with a wide range of different items that can be made to order. We went during a pretty slow time of the day. There were only three other tables when we arrived that had guests at them. Even so all of the dishes we grabbed off of the belt were the appropriate temperatures they should be at. I do wish that they offered a few other tempura-based rolls like a tempura California roll. Pricing wise the prices are pretty good especially if you are on a budget, though if you are trying to stick to a smaller budget, I would order water instead of a soda especially if you do not normally get refills. The only negative thing about our experience was the staff weren't around much. We had noticed that no gyoza had been added to the belt so we had wanted to order some along with a few menu only items so I tried flagging down our waitress several times but she didn't notice. At the same time there was a couple standing at the register for 8+ minutes waiting for someone to come over so they could pay their bill. Our original waitress didn't end up coming back to our table so when another girl had come over to the table we just opted to get the check instead of ordering what we had planned on getting. Otherwise as I said, the food was good & the prices were reasonable. It is a clean spot to stop when you are looking for a quick sushi fix.

I love sushi and have always been skeptical about conveyor belt sushi. However this place is a 10/10. I can go when they are opening or about to close and still get the freshest sushi. JJ and Sumo rolls are absolutely my favorite. They also have a full menu to order from if you're not feeling sushi. It's super convenient when you're wanting something quick and tasty and don't want to spend forever in the restaurant. The service is pretty good as well. I come here at least once a week now for dinner! They always have good music playing and never takes too long to get a table.

You can either choose your sushi picks from the menu or wait for the revolving belt and grab something that looks appealing. They charge by the plate once you dispose of it. For Arizona this is futuristic and wish we had one in Tucson. I don't eat seafood but the wagyu plate was tasty and I was able to order ramen that came with pork and an egg. I do appreciate the menu having non sea food items. The butter cake was Frikkin delish! We will be coming back.

For what it is, it was a pretty good visit. We really were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The variety was great. Rice was prepared right -- not mushy or stale. The fish was great which was the biggest surprise of the whole meal. The salmon was fresh and buttery. The scallops were plump. Tuna did not taste cheap or old like previous visits. I did try some of their limited time menu items -- their fish taco and the crispy rice hot dog. The cod in the fish taco was way too soft and disintegrated in my mouth, I would like a firmer fish.. the tartar sauce was great though. The crispy rice hot dog was interesting... the sausage was nice a plump -- juicy but the rice did not make sense. The rice was also a little sweet and did not taste right.. ** please bring back the crispy rice salmon and spicy tuna instead of this. We did not enjoy our last 2-3 visits to Kura. Service was always bad, food did not taste good and it was becoming overpriced for what it is. We would happily come back now and spend what we did again if the quality stays the way it is. Service this time around was still not great, even worse than usual actually, but we still enjoyed otherwise. Kura used to allow you to win prizes at 5-7 plates but now it's every 15, 25+ plates which sucks but I get it..

The sake I had was the Omikaze cold and unfiltered: delicious!, we also had the coconut cold sake. The ambiance is very pleasant, relaxed, the sushi preparation is done facing towards the tables, while the fried items are cooked in the kitchen. The staff in general are helpful and polite, our server especially was attentive, made sure there was no chile in what I ordered - and she took care that any spicy sauces were on the side, so we could share the various sushi orders. We ordered the Super Crunch Shrimp Roll, deep-fried, wrapped in soy paper, with shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese, crab stick and eel sauce. My favorite but all are so good it's hard to choose. A nice sashimi of yellowtail and albacore that was fresh, delicious, could've had more: the seaweed garnish was fresh and crunchy. Then the Rainbow roll came looking perfect but it was spicy so I admired it and my friends ate it all. The Kodo roll was also delicious, they kindly put the spicy garlic on the side so I could share with the others, The following review is from my first visit, I somehow thought I had posted it: , oops. Pleasant and efficient, with tables and some comfy banquettes along the side; the sushi station had three - maybe four? - chefs making the rolls and sashimiI while we decided what to order. I was quite impressed by the sashimi, but the whole lunch was delicious. We went around 1pm, so it wasn't crowded which was perfect for enjoying chatting and the food. We ordered sake bombs and for me the cold unfiltered sake: a good choice with deliciously fresh Sashimi, tempura shrimp, the unagi was delicious!, a tuna roll and a platter to share with salmon, the mentioned unagi nigiri and another spicy salmon I couldn't taste because there was chili in it. Definitely coming back !

The restaurant was very clean and wasn't too loud at the time. It's the type of restaurant where you can grab your food off of the conveyor belt or you can order with the staff. As a note, not everything on the menu is offered on the conveyor belt. Since it wasn't too busy when we went, a lot of the options were available on the belt, only a few dishes were empty. I would say the staff weren't as attentive as they could be, which made ordering off the menu more difficult. I didn't get the chance to order everything I wanted-- I like having a plate or two in front of me at a time, and the waiter didn't come often enough. I tried items like the edamame, the Shaggy Dog roll, the onion roll, haru popper roll. I really enjoyed each plate I tried, everything seemed fresh and high quality. The pricing is decently inline with other revolving sushi restaurants, but a little more expensive per plate. I think it's worth it considering Yen Sushi has more options to order from, if you can grab or order them. Overall, I enjoyed my experience dining here, and would come back again because the food I tried was very tasty. Next time, I'll plan which items I want to order with the waiter ahead of time, so I can I can try everything that I want and order with the server when seated.

It's a good mid-tier sushi restaurant and, of course, has the novelty of the revolving sushi belt. If you're looking for a high end experience, this may not be your place. But, if looking for value, Kiku is a good choice. Note: 1) Ika (my personal favorite) is listed both on their website before you come in and even on their printed menu once you are seated in the restaurant, but be aware they do not have any and 2) be extra careful when communicating your order as the waitstaff will make assumptions on your behalf. For example, I asked if they have salmon roe to which the waitstaff said "yes", but when they brought my order to our table they had substituted salmon nigiri in its place offering no explanation nor telling me what to expect, just leaving me to discover it after taking the plastic cover off the plate.

It is an inexpensive dining option, and the conveyor belt offers a variety of small plates, including appetizers, nigiri, and sushi rolls. One thing I like is that you can sample different dishes without having to commit to full-sized rolls like you would at most traditional sushi restaurants. Beyond the conveyor belt, they also have a regular menu featuring bento boxes, ramen, fried rice, and yakisoba, which are freshly prepared in the kitchen. As far as sushi quality goes, it is about what you would expect from most revolving sushi restaurants. You are not coming here for the highest-quality sushi, but rather for the fun and the opportunity to try a little bit of everything. My usual favorites are the Rainbow Roll, eel, and tuna nigiri. On this particular visit, I felt the raw sushi could have been served colder, which was a little off-putting, so I stuck mostly with the cooked sushi options. This is one of the downsides of revolving sushi restaurants since you never really know how long a plate has been circulating on the conveyor belt. Overall, this is a fast and affordable place to dine, especially for sushi beginners. It is worth checking out for the novelty and variety, but given the inconsistent freshness I experienced with the raw sushi, it is not somewhere I would visit frequently.
