Small mom/pop location with a very friendly staff. They also have a full menu and drinks (beer, sake, & soju). Obviously you can tell Nigiri is my go to but I do enjoy rolls once in a great while. The dress code is casual but you can definitely dress up if you want especially if it's date night. It's a lively atmosphere with K-Pop going on one tv & some anime on another. Drop in and give it a try.

Oh my FULLNESS!!! I wish we had a place like this down in Tucson. Revolving sushi... Who would've thought? Every single plate I tried was absolutely delicious. It's sushi on a conveyor belt. made fresh by sushi chefs.... They charge by the plate and they even have salads and dessert on the conveyor belt too! If you're ever up in the Glendale area, this is a must!!!

I'm not sure why this place has such low reviews, while it's obviously not some bougie sushi spot it is definitely not the worst I've had. The location is pretty decent size and was so busy when we arrived. Luckily we snagged one of the last seats. Service was pretty quick, took our drink order, explained how things worked and left us a menu with some more options that aren't on the belt. We arrived on Friday which was all day happy hour. This meant all plates no matter the color were all 3.50 s plate. I loved the fireman roll (I think that's what it was called) it was spicy and delicious. We also enjoyed a cucumber salad, spicy crab rolls, gyoza, California rolls and so much more. Vibe isn't super fancy, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. They also had many dessert options from cheesecakes to mochi.we ate so much and didn't even spend more than $40 with tip. Great deal in my opinion. If you're looking for something fancy and upscale this may not be your place, but it was fun and great for us.

When coming closer to closing, you might have to order more from the waitstaff. They stop butting out new item around an hour till close. Very friendly and prompt service. The area was clean and tables bussed quickly. Definitely will be back to try the Roman as the other items are taste. I definitely recommend the jalapeño boat appetizer. There are tvs around the restaurant playing different things from k pop to dragon ball z. Nothing too loud.

What a selection! Of all the rotating sushi places I've been to -- in San Diego, San Francisco and Tokyo -- KiKu has the best variety of nigiri, rolls, appetizers and desserts. For that, I was very impressed. I will say that the one thing -- the most important thing -- that soured the trip was that most of the sushi rice was undercooked. It was not all the items, so I expect it was simply a bad batch that wasn't quality controlled. That half ruined the dinner. That aside, I still enjoyed dinner and would certainly gift KiKu another try. All sushi and rolls go for $3.20, and can go up to $9 depending on the item. The gyoza and karaage were nice. Also enjoyed the edamame. I was pleased to see nigiri offerings include Japanese snapper, ikura, yellowtail, mackerel and scallop. There was one dish that surprised me: The Bubble Pop Roll. I took it mistaking the pop portion, believing it was ikura. As I brought the plate to the table, I leaned in, head cocked. Ikura is never that large -- what on earth is this? I couldn't tell. I opted for a bite and was shocked that the pop portion was mango-tasting jellies. It was a California roll with these jellies stacked high. My response was to immediately recoil, as the flavor was nothing I expected. Then I found that the creamy crab melded so well with the jellies. To my absolute surprise! I ordered another. I recommend trying it once, and before you judge the dish. They also serve full dishes, like teriyaki chicken, bulgogi, yakisoba, fried rice dishes, udon, ramen and other dishes. They also offer about one dozen types of sake, including unfiltered and strawberry, peach and plum sake. Wines are basic -- a Chardonnay, Cab, Merlot and a Sauvignon Blanc. The only other thing I dislike is that the team does not take the plates until your meal is over. So you simply keep the stack of dirty dishes at the table (Kura has spoiled me there).

I am so please with this gem. The revolving belt that all the plates cam by on was amazing It does go by a little fast but that's good because if you miss the sushi you want, it doesn't take super long to come back around. It's also funny to watch my teen try to get one she wants and then it's just fast enough and she has to wait again.. lol.. The sushi was a great price and the smaller plates allow you to get a little of everything without breaking the bank. The establishment was clean and the staff was nice. We will go again soon .

I am team Kura... as someone who grew up in Japan, the lack of nigiri option was disappointing. Rolls after rolls, mostly with crab salad. Just not my thing. The service was next to none either. My partner wanted to order wine, nobody came to check on us so we became full and asked for our check. The portion is quite small as well. Laidback atmosphere for sure.

My friend in heaven picking out her sushi item!

So happy to have found a legitimate place for real & fresh sushi in the West Valley!!…read more Previously I would be subject to driving out to Sushi Sen in Scottsdale for sushi/Japanese food. Haru is a nice alternative that is much closer and offers an omakase plate that rivals some of the best sushi you can find in Torrance/LA. The pricing of this omakase is steep at $70 for 8pcs of premium fish plus a toro roll but worthwhile for a special occasion or to get your fix. Pricing on their happy hour seems pretty reasonable as well which is most weekdays until 6pm. Pricing on the rest of the menu is fair but doesnt quite exceed expectations in terms of value for money, especially compared to Sushi Sen. My mom, who is an incredibly tough critic, really enjoyed the soft shell crab tempura and said it wasn't oily or greasy. I have to agree. I enjoyed their "tuna cracker" which is like spicy tuna crispy rice at most other restaurants. I've already been back a second time within the same week and will probably be back again within the month. Highly recommend!

Some of their specialty rolls are $50/roll!!! I repeat- FiIFTY American dollars per roll. I don't know that I've seen prices that high even in Scottsdale or Las Vegas. There's no reason that this casual sushi spot should be charging like they're off the coast of Japan in an elite cliffside restaurant. The food is very good, but it's not "I need to finance this meal", $50/roll good. Also.. I asked for the WiFi password (literally titled "Haru Sushi Guest") so I could work on my laptop if needed, just to be told they were not allowed to give out their WiFi password out to anyone (even the staff aren't allowed to use it). Kind of silly to be gatekeeping something as simple as WiFi in the year 2026. I would have loved to make this my new working lunch spot, but between the egregiously high prices and the WiFi witness protection program, I'll be skipping it next time.

I really enjoy the ambiance and service there, but learned quickly that with larger groups the Peoria location is best for us. One of my kids graduated from college last week and he wanted to celebrate. All he wanted was to have sushi and to celebrate with our relatives who came from out of state. We didn't know if it'd be doable since we were on the other side of the valley. We called, gave them our party size (12) and eta. Low and behold, they were able to get us a reservation. We get on the road to make it to our reservation 0745-0800, they close at 1000pm worse case scenario we get there by 0800 and we still have a good amount of time for the AYCE 90 minute experience. We get there and they have a sign out for the AYCE, last call 0830pm. We go inquire about the last call and our reservation being at 0745. They reassure us that we would still get the full 90 minute experience. At about 0800pm they tell us our table they thought would be available is not available, they say individual parties instead. A guy comes out and tells us that the time frame they gave us was an estimated time, we let him know that was not what were told, but we also got a text confirmation. He tells us, well the Weather is nice. We can accommodate you outside. We agreed. They got the tables all settled and we're about to sit down. The same older man tells us, that the last call is 0830PM, ummm what? They tell us well we can try and get everything in, but the last call is at 0830. You can stay until 0900, what?! I let him know that was not what there hostess had told us, we told him they said we'd still be served and given the 90 Minute experience. He said well I don't know why they told you that, I am going to have to go let them know that is not the case. It's now well past 0800pm and restaurants are closing soon and we are a large party. I was incredibly disappointed at how everything was handled, and how easy it was for the gentleman to just dismiss and shrug his shoulders like oh well. I was incredibly disappointed at how everything was handled, and how easy it was for the gentleman to just dismiss and shrug his shoulders like oh well. What was supposed to be a special celebration for our son's graduation turned into unnecessary stress and disappointment. We made the reservation based on the information their staff provided and planned accordingly, only to be told something completely different once we arrived. Had we been told upfront that they couldn't honor the full AYCE experience or accommodate our party as promised, we would have made other arrangements. After being loyal customers and recommending this place to family and friends, this experience made it clear that customer service and honoring commitments are not a priority. Unfortunately, that was our last visit For reference, when they sent the last text, we were already onsite.
