So this time, R & R Sushi was in my way home so I decided to pick up my own dinner order (placed via DoorDash. Arrived at 5:28. Order was supposed to be ready 5:30pm. It was prepared and setting up on the counter. We were not even acknowledged until 5:36pm. It is now 5:40pm. Still no food. There is only 1 waitress who is also serving as the only bartender. Every other table (only 3) is far more important than we are. She just needs to put our food in a darn bag. Getting very frustrated as we have watched him mix drinks, take orders, & greet new arrivals prior to helping us which would have taken 2 seconds - LITERALLY. Annoyed and frustrated. Good thing the food is good, or I would give less stars. They should have more than 1 server working AT DINNER TIME ON SATURDAY NIGHT. read more

I ordered through DoorDash. They were running a buy one get one free on a few items. I ordered the edamame (spicy), California Roll, and the Filet Rockin' Bowl. I ordered the filet medium rare and it was well done... The edamame wasn't spicy and the California Rolls were soggy... :-( I was quite bummed about how my experience was. The waitress knew it was my first time ordering her name was KYAN and she was not helpful. She never smiled one time. After reading the reviews, we had to try this place. We arrived at 3:30 on Sunday to take advantage of the daily special. You can order an upgraded roll (8) pieces and a side dish (rice) for $19.00 The roll was good, but not very filling. The service was terrible. The server's were very focused on their phones and take out delivery. My son had to leave the table to ask to be served and again for a refill of a drink. At no time during the meal did they check on us. There are better options and less expensive sushi available most anywhere. read more

Another great find. The booths are comfortable and can seat up to 6 people. Service was good, but nothing stood out to make it a 5 experience. I love the ambiance (which is a 5), and listening to old school rock reminded me of my younger years. (Def Leppard) The prices are pretty reasonable too. Came here yesterday around 4 and it was pretty empty. Just one other group of people. I got the jalapeño.poppers and they were delicious. My cousin got two rolls and I got the chicken & shrimp hibachi. She loved her rolls but my hibachi was pretty bad. The chicken was extremely over cooked while the shrimp were totally under cooked. The veggies were awful. The zucchini was the only veg that was actually cooked. All the other veggies were completely raw. The rice was just meh. I'm not one to normally complain but this was just awful. Disappointing considering it was my birthday dinner. Won't go back to this location. The girls clearly do not know how to cook. Hi! This place is great for first time sushi eaters or those who prefer "cooked or fried" sushi rolls primarily. The location is great and excited to have a spot near the highway and Westgate. We ordered the appetizer which had some yummy fried goodies to warm up the appetite. The kids also got some soy beans. I really enjoyed the appetizer and also ordered a special sake bomb that was on happy hour for $5. Now here is where maybe I am a bit critical. I am somewhat of a sushi snob and was disappointed in the variety of fresh sushi fare vs cooked or fried rolls. Still good options but mostly every roll was either fried or had cream cheese. I do like the creativity with the special strawberry star roll but did not like the infusion of sweet strawberry sauce on the roll. One thing that kind of got under my skin was when I got the bill brought to me without asking for it and being done with our meal. Id understand if they were busy but that was not the case. They had accepted the order manually, but closed the store without notifying us or any of our 3 different assigned dashers that they couldn't complete the order. We decided to come here for lunch, since we've been wanting to check this place out. They open at 11am every day, and we were hungry, so headed over here about 11:15ish. The atmosphere is fun...rock videos playing on the many screens, guitars on the walls and the bar looks like a concert stage (the back wall looks like a bunch of amps and there's a boom with lights hanging over it). We started with the T.N.T. Shrimp appetizer, which was tempura'd shrimp with sweet chili sauce and eel sauce drizzled over them. This was so good! You could really taste the shrimp and they were really crispy. Hubby had the Axl Roll (shrimp tempura, salmon and cream cheese with spicy mayo and eel sauce in a fried sushi roll). He really enjoyed it a lot! I had Salmon Nagiri...the salmon was so buttery, it was perfect! I also had a Japanese Bagel Roll, which was salmon and cream cheese by itself (there's no actual bagel, just the "idea" of it). It was very good and was a nice light roll. I also got an egg roll as a side (wanted to try one) and it was airy and crispy, served with a sweet chili sauce. For our encore...see what I did there (LOL!)...we decided to share the Hall of Fame Brownie. It's a golden-fried brownie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate/caramel swirls. We enjoyed it very much!!! This turned out to be a really good (and filling) lunch! Everything was served perfectly and it was all delicious! I Ordered ramen and a sushi roll with an extra egg. Order was for pick up. Picked it up, got home and there was no ramen broth( my own fault for not checking). I called and was told to come back.. the place is 20 minutes from me, so I was told to email for credit so I did. I then was asked how the order was so I said what I said. In a text I am then told my order was reviewed and the broth was in the Togo bag before it left the kitchen. They offered a 30% coupon and said sorry your frustrated on your first visit.
