Although the building is older, the interior was very clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food was delicious and well worth the price. got spicy tuna and ramen. all tasted pretty good. The Ramen had a good heat to it. Really expensive compared to other sushi/ramen places also. they also charge a 3.5% "processing" fee, that also got added to my bill, even though I used a debit card, which shouldn't be allowed. It is put on the bill before the card is processed, which also means you pay the processing fee I think if you pay cash. I came here for lunch with my godmother and god sister after we saw their posts on Instagram and thought we'd try it out. From the parking lot, there's a big sign with the name, but honestly, the outside of the building looks pretty old and even a little creepy. You walk through these double doors, and then it's a completely different story inside, it's huge, bright, and really clean. Definitely one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" places. My favorite sushi spot in Arizona! I went to this restaurant at least 2-3 times/months while living there for 2 years! Keep in mind, they're closed on Mondays! It's located in a sketchy neighborhood in Glendale. However, that didn't stop me from going because the hole-in-the-wall spots are usually the best spots! Parking is easy because there is a pretty big parking lot. Inside is very spacious with plenty of indoor seating Service is super welcoming, attentive, and friendly, especially the server, Alice! She's super attentive and always has a big smile on her face! The menu has a variety of rolls (baked, raw, cooked) appetizers, yakisoba, udon, ramen, etc. My favorites are the Rainbow Roll ($15.99) and Takoyaki ($8.99). I also get the Miso Butter Ramen ($14.99) and that is good too. The rainbow roll is so delicious! The tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and shrimp is super fresh. Love the crab mix they use also! I would say it's 9/10 The takoyaki is super crispy and fresh! Wish the octopus piece inside was bigger but it was still very yummy! I can tell they make it in house so it's definitely 9/10. I usually get the Miso Butter Ramen and it comes with a soft boiled egg, green onions, bean sprouts, and pork. There are 3 options for spice level (1-3) and I usually get it in mild (1). The broth is flavorful without being too salty and the noodles are very good and chewy. Love that the pork isn't too fatty but still very tasty! Totally recommend and would return! read more

I had a good night out here with the Mr. Food was good. I had spicy chicken teriyaki. I forgot what kind of sushi he got. The ambience/environment was great. We were greeted right as we walked in and sat almost immediately after. Staff was friendly. I know it is about finding a balance, but multiple people checked in on us (not just our waitress) and I would've liked to not have answer so many people with food in my mouth each time. Or be interrupted when I was in deep conversation with my date. I understand that some people like that, so it isn't a real complaint. Best hole in the wall ramen on this side of town. So happy I don't need to go to Tempe for food ramen anymore. The eggs/noodles/broth are all delicious! The service is fast and nice. I will say do not get spicy ramen unless you LOVE heat. I tried their ramen with no spicy and spice level 2. I generally can tolerate heat well but level 2 was definitely not something to fuck around with. Still delicious but only for true spicy lovers. The no spice ramen is just as delicious!! The ramen was a level 2 spicy and it was spicy but tolerable. My husband usually doesn't ever finish ramen but he was hooked on this one.
