Tonkotsu Ramen* (take out)
Emma N.

I ordered some ramen online and went to pick it up! The entire process was smooth and easy. Willy was a huge help and very friendly. I ordered Tonkotsu ramen and it was delicious! My sister ordered the Chicken Karaage ramen and also enjoyed it. The fried chicken for this ramen does come on the side for take out orders, so don't be alarmed if you don't see it in the ramen. It'll be in a bag on the side. I would come back here to eat. This is a solid ramen spot. They also had poki which I CANNOT wait to try!

The poke bowl was decent. Other than the fact that it was too little protein in it. The onigiri that I got was poorly made. Rice probably not cooked right or wrong rice used. It fell apart every time I tried to eat it. The taste was ok. The consistency was poor. Can't comment on service and ambiance as the order was picked up by someone else.

Absolutely amazing! Genuinely the best poke I've had in Arizona. Great options and great service too. Will definitely be coming back!

Friendly service! The food was good. The place is very clean and easy for new guests. it. I got the tonkatsu ramen, which I'd highly recommend adding their red salt seasoning too it makes the flavors pop.

Good place for a "poke bowl" mainland style, meaning all the salad goodies and decent fish. $20 for a large bowl, 2 proteins and tax/tip. A one man show today on a Saturday afternoon. A great option for a poke bowl in the area. West side is always limited, so please go support local small mom and pop shops like this to keep them around. Fast, clean, and consistent. We've been here a couple times to get our poke fix. God knows we need more ethnic food, non-chain on this side!! Great stop-in after a Spring Training game at Peoria Sports Complex.

My son asked if we could go to Poki Maki due to the simple fact he had a Dr's. Appointment. So I looked up this joint and was familiar with it as we have been in 3 businesses on the same sidewalk. We picked up a family friend in route and proceeded to go. We arrived before they opened so we sat an talked football. I noticed an Asian woman unlock and we exited the SUV and walked in. Place was spotless and the electronic menu board so we picked a Tonkatsu combo for my son, Miso Ramen for our family friend and I went with the Beef-Beef-Yummy Miso Ramen bowl with light Spice OMG..Wooo it cleared sinuses. All came with perfectly wrapped nori a very nice touch. With a side of Shrimp TEMPORA and a side of Pork Belly Crisps.. mind blowing and I am curious to recreate just that at home. And we will order spring rolls next time. We went with the fountain drinks Fanta Orange. This meal makes what we make at home look and taste like dish water and old shoe laces. My lord On My Family who have passed I hav not had this grat of a meal since I ate at TODAI now gone from the Chinese cultural center Tempe. We will order again and dine in was a pleasure. Staff wa extremely attentive and friendly. One amazing meal

Miso Ramen* and Salmon rice bowl

Love this place, happened to be driving by one day and hungry so we stopped in. They have Gluten Free & safe options. (The rice bowls not ramen unfortunately, would be amazing if they had that someday though!) The ramen is outstanding, flavor is on point. They don't overcharge. Also the owner plays nonstop Christian music lol. Might get the food to go next time haha. Will be back soon!

Chicken Karaage Ramen

I am in search for a great ramen place, any suggestions? This place is like a fast food sushi place. The Yelp search brought me her looking for ramen. We tried a couple ramens and a sushi burrito. The ramen was just mediocre. I was a little disappointed with the broth on both the Tonkotsu and Chicken Karaage. The sushi burrito was pretty good but not good enough to come back.

My large bowl with the works ($17). 2 proteins, half salad half rice, all the toppings.
Natasha A.

Nice bowls. 2 proteins (spicy salmon, and spicy tuna), base of half salad and half rice, 3 sauces (house, spicy ponzu, honey mustard mayo) plus all of the toppings was $17.

Vegan Ramen*
Grace X.

I had the vegan ramen, which was a little salty for my tastes but otherwise very flavorful and I loved all the toppings. The place is small but clean, and service is very friendly and quick. Portion sizes are modest, good for a meal but no leftovers. Prices are a little high relative to the portion size in my opinion. They also do not have reusable dishes or cutlery, so you get disposable bowls even if you dine in.

Super bland but tasted like salt. Needed some garlic or something..

Solid poke spot. I've been back a couple times and it's always good. Portions are nice and the proteins and veg all look and taste fresh.

I'm assuming it's a family-owned joint because the one and only guy working front of house always takes care of me. He's awesome. The place is cute. It's tastefully decorated, and they have a very-on-brand, ginormous full moon light on the wall that's illuminated from behind. It's super cool. I've only ever seen a couple other diners in there with me at any time. The food comes out super fast, which is great, because I'm hungry as soon as i step in the place. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the food is always good. If you're in the area, this place is a must-stop.

I ordered hot sake and it did not disappoint. My daughter got a Ramune, miso soup, and shrimp tempura roll. No complaints! Miso soup was missing tofu that day. Apparently they were all out. Nevertheless the soup was very nice! I got two specialty rolls. The names escape me at the moment. The menu doesn't have a huge selection of rolls but I found what I like and both were VERY good! Good amount of fish vs rice. Everyone is very attentive. Service is very good. The ambiance is interesting :) nothing fancy but not too bland either. There are full moon/moon related decorations. The rolls are also named with the Moon theme in mind. Overall very nice and we will be back to try their ramen !

But they were on their own very good. I got the Japanese Miso Hot soup and added instant noodles and lobster balls. Mild weather on the spice. It was still pretty spicy. Cleared my nostrils right up My friend got the beef hot soup also mild and mine was a lot more spicy lol. But said it was very good I also got a Thai Milk tea with 25% sugar which was nice. You walk in get seated. Then that is really the last time you talk to someone. You scan the menu and order from your phone. I think this cuts out any confusion. You then have someone bring your food and drinks to your table. They do walk around and offer your more broth as there is a lot of food in those bowls. And when you add the dry noodles you need more broth. I think that is cool. They do drop off the check midway through. It does get busy around 7pm we got there just before 6 so got in no problem.

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.

Our waitress comes to us and takes our drinks and orders. She came back to advise us that they were out of the cucumber salad. I ask if she could add something to my order (I wanted to add an egg to my ramen, not on the side but in the ramen) to which she acknowledged. Roughly 10 mins later, a new waiter brings me out an egg in a bowl! I politely told him I asked for it to be in my ramen, not as a side. He looks at me as if I've lost my mind, then asks if I want it in a to-go box... why?? I told him a second time, that I asked for it to be on my soup, the ramen! He walked away. Another 15 mins goes by and yet another server comes and brings out our food. Everyone around us is getting service, like multiple times, but we have yet to see our waitress. We asked a 3rd waiter if we could get sauces, which he brings out. We eat our food, and guess what...? Still no waitress. We finish our food and had to ask a fourth waiter for a to go box, and finally our waitress comes out and asks if we need anything, to which I tell her, no, we've already been taken care of! She walks away with what seemed like an attitude. Brings our check. Another 10 mins goes by and we don't see her... every other table is gettin their service from their waiters/waitress and we don't. So we get up and pay for our bill, ourselves at the hostess table. Our waitress comes up to take our bill, doesn't say anything at all. No, I'm so sorry I'm waiting multiple tables, or hey sorry I'm working both inside and outside, nothing. Besides the less than par service the food was really good!! If she would have at least communicated to us, how busy she was or is or anything, this would a be a totally different story.
