Hana Tokyo is. Ow called Brave Sushi. It is now a sushi place and does not have Teppenyaki tables. There are two prices a rolls price which is $29.99 for sushi and rolls and $39.99 for sashimi. There are different prices for dinner. They do have some grill items, rice, noodles and desserts. They had a lot of people working initially food was coming out really fast. Some of the rolls were really packed with rice like the rockstar the filling was 80% rice. The miso soup had a lot of flavor. The fries wontons were garlicky but tasty. The beef had a really good flavor and when eaten hot was very tender. The chicken also had a good flavor. The service was good. They did get busy and food was a little slower but still came out regular. We did have green tea ice cream to finish off our meal. The place is bit but only a part of it was being utilized.

What a great deal if you are into sushi. I forgot to take photos but the food was good. I had 4 orders of salmon sashimi, crunch roll, crab sticks and my husband had 3 tuna sashimi, 2 jalapeno tuna roll and a salad. He really liked the roll. We ate our moneys worth. We will be back

This place has two options: All You Can Eat (kitchen & sushi items) or Teppanyaki (All Meals come with soup, salad, fried rice, and vegetables). We opted for the Teppanyaki side. We had 5 of us and we sat in the middle of the Teppanyaki, it was warm especially with all the flames going up all over the place. The service was good when you get their attention. The other times you had to wave or get up to grab them. The miso soup was very salty and oily, was not good at all. The rest of the meal was very salty and not flavorful at all. It was fun show but that was it.

    Scallop appetizer BEFORE

My husband and I have been here a handful of times and last night he was very disappointed. One of his favorites sides was the fried scallops. They used to come as actual scallops, and now (May 2025)? Complete mush!! We honestly didn't even know what the heck it was, seemed more like a mozzarella stick and it was absolutely horrid. The waitress told us she didn't know what it was either when it arrived at our table, and apparently the staff has complained to the manger that they're cutting corners to be cheap. Which is fine, but at least take it off the menu or charge a couple bucks more. I hope the manager sees this review. Other than that the sushi is delicious and fresh.

Hana Tokyo All You Can Eat is located between N 83rd Ave and N Arrowhead Fountains Center Dr and was previously Osaka P83. For dinner, I made reservations for the teppanyaki grill and were not dissapointed. Our chef, James Royce, was not only very entertaining but cooked all the food to perfection! His unique way of cooking the rice turned out great! The all you can eat does not apply to the teppan grill. The only reason I didn't give Hana Tokyo All You Can Eat 5-stars was because the mens restroom had a very unpleasant odor thet may require a plumber to evaluate. Aside from the restroom, the food was great, I'd stop in again, and I'll make sure to request James!

So for you sushi lovers out there..this is a spot to try out. They have a spectacular menu and a vast selection of sushi options. Customer service is excellent. Very clean and quiet place for you, a date or even with family and friends. A great assortment of saki and Japanese beer. Plus, if you can knock down twelve rolls like I can. Try the All You Can Eat!!! Caution though! Because Hana Tokyo will have you coming back for more..

So we decided on Ah-So and so blown away. First we were greeted and got to pick where ever we wanted to sit which was great, but we didn't expect the stream with Fish!! It was so cool to see that! We loved it. We always love seeing an attraction like this so it already bumped it up. Secondly I havent been into any Miso soups lately no matter where I have gone, it just hasn't done it for me. This changed today. I enjoyed and loved the taste of the tofu behind my combo meal, Dad also got one. I got the Chicken Katsu and Dad got the Teriyaki Chicken combo. We hadn't expected the miso soup to be added to it so that was a plus. The food was amazing! Dad loved the grilled taste and how the vegetables were grilled with the chicken and you could taste it. I loved the tempura and the crunch of the Katsu. All in all amazing. Something we really loved was the fact that it feels comfortable here. The set up of the restaurant made us so relaxed and it didn't feel too modern or pretentious it just was perfect like going to the local Japanese place in Japan. Highly highly recommend. The lunch combos were also all 18 bucks even on weekends! We will be back to try the teppanyaki and the teriyaki salmon when we are able.

Garlic butter I felt is a must in hibachi. I think that was the only thing that was missing in this food. But overall I would be back. We booked a reservation for a large group requiring two hibachi tables/chefs at Ah-So Sushi & Steak…read morein Peoria on a Monday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy at all with plenty of open tables and no crowds so we were surprised and disappointed when the hostess refused to seat us until every single member of our party had arrived, even though we had a confirmed reservation. A few people were running slightly late, but holding the entire group and two full hibachi setups felt overly rigid, especially on a quiet weekday. Their policy appears to allow only a short grace period, I've since seen mentions of about 10 minutes for the full party, but this wasn't clearly communicated upfront when we reserved, and it led to unnecessary waiting in the lobby. Once everyone finally arrived and we were seated, the initial service was strong: our waiter was attentive, quickly took drink and appetizer orders, and brought everything out promptly. The appetizers and drinks were solid, and the vibe of the hibachi tables is always fun with the flames, knife tricks, and chef performance. However, things went downhill from there due to the split tables. One table's group was seated and ready about 20 minutes before the second table. One chef started their full performance and cooking sequence early, while the other table waited and waited for their chef to begin. It created an awkward imbalance: half the party was eating hot food and enjoying the show while the other half sat hungry, watching from across the way. It would have been much better if the restaurant had coordinated the chefs to start simultaneously or at least closer together, especially since they knew it was one large reservation. The food itself was good standard hibachi fare with fresh ingredients, flavorful sauces, and generous portions but the uneven timing detracted from the overall enjoyment for our group. We were hoping for a cohesive, celebratory experience, but the logistics made it feel disjointed. Overall, the food and early service get points, but the strict seating policy on a slow night and lack of coordination for split hibachi tables left us frustrated. I'd think twice about bringing a big group here again unless you're okay with potential delays

We came in for a birthday party & got one of the Teppanyaki tables. Our waiter was awesome & the Chef for the table was well suited for the job! He was so fun and cracked a lot of jokes that everyone enjoyed. He kept everyone engaged throughout the entire experience. He made everyone at the table catch rice in their mouths- even if it took 5-6 tries per person The food was delicious - the portions were on point. The prices were fair. It's on expensive side, but part of the cost is definitely for the experience, which is well worth it. All in all, everyone had an amazing time. This is the perfect place to come with a group to share some laughs and create a memory that nobody will forget. It is so fun to see your meal cooked right before your eyes & interact with the chef throughout. I've been to similar places in the past & none of them compare to Kasai! We will definitely be back!

The price was confusing. $30 service charge?? And that's not inclusive of tip? Our total bill was $178 so that would be a 16% service charge which is insane. Usually service charges are a few percent to help cover small costs like cc processing, to-go packaging, things like that. So then on top of that I had to tip of course as I don't want to not give the chef nothing. Just seems a bit extreme. Everything is already on the expensive side which is fine as it's a nice restaurant but the additional service charge was too much. Also the percentage options were incorrect. The amount it told me to tip to make it 18% was actually 26%. Probably an issue with their POS and not them but seems like a money grab and something they should prioritize fixing.
