I LOVE the downtown Harumi location and figured the Peoria location would have the same standards. It unfortunately didn't. While the space was clean and there were lots of employees, service was not great and the rice on all of the rolls tasted like it wasn't fresh. It took forever to flag someone down to get checked out. Hopefully it was an off day. I'll venture to this location again when I have time. Until then I'll stick with the location downtown who consistently has amazing service and food.

Really cute small spot, great for date night sushi. Shirley temple game was excellent. They were very busy Friday and still managed to get us in and stay extremely attentive. The service here was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The Ahi tower was cute and the OMG roll was extremely flavorful and probably our favorite dish. Everything tasted super fresh which for the desert is amazing. I highly recommend you check out this spot.

I really enjoy this place ! The food is excellent there isn't one thing I have tried that I don't like! Price at this location is way better than the one in Phoenix and so is the service! Every server just had such a good vibe! Love the indoor outdoor both are so great!

Have been wanting to try this place out for so long now. This location is really convenient because there is so much parking available in the lot outside. We went on a Monday night and sat outside which was perfect. The food was fast to come out and their service style is cool, whoever is available will help and check in on you. They surprised us with the yellowtail carpaccio which was compliments of the chef which was incredibly kind. The fish was tender, the hot Havana had wonderful flavor. Would absolutely recommend this location and place.

After being unwelcome and feeling rushed at Kawai Sushi, my kids and I came to Hurumi Sushi on Lake Pleasant -- and it completely turned our night around. We were welcomed with so much warmth, and Dylan gave us great recommendations. The chef made a beautiful flaming blue fire roll that was so fun to watch, and we loved every single plate we ordered. Even though they were closing soon, we were never rushed -- just treated with genuine care. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Amazing sushi and even better customer service!

We love this restaurant because the fish is always fresh every time we visit, and the staff are consistently attentive. The space feels peaceful and airy, with just the right amount of light -- not too bright, but perfectly balanced to create a sense of calm. Although it's not a traditional Japanese restaurant with sushi masters behind the bar, we're always impressed by the freshness of the fish and the creativity of the dishes. Today, we had the Omakase for $42 per person. It included two types of tuna, two types of salmon, a variety of other fish, and sweet shrimp. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious.

I had been to the downtown location before the renovation and has an amazing experience! So when I loved and found a Harumi in my neighborhood I was so excited! This location has decor that is a little different than the location in the city but the service here was the same attentive, engaging, friendly and prompt. I came on a solo date so I chose to sit at the counter. The food was 10 out of 10, I'm confident that this is some of the freshest sushi I've had in Arizona and the flavors are so cohesive and delicious. Definitely recommend! I will definitely be back !!!!! If you ever go make sure you try the sake flight !

Just okay I was hoping for more. Tried Harumi Sushi after hearing some buzz, but overall it was a mixed experience. The restaurant is small and cozy, which I actually liked it had a relaxed, intimate vibe. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't quite hit the mark. The crispy rice was too crispy almost hard to bite through and the crunch roll was overwhelmed by too much eel sauce, which masked the other flavors. Service was just okay. Our waiter was polite, but we waited quite a while between check-ins, which made the meal feel a bit dragged out. Not the worst sushi I've had, but nothing that would bring me back anytime soon.

Wish they had a more diverse menu for people that don't like sushi, like my wife, we'd come more often, I have to go solo as of now

Good 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 All I can say is if ur in Peoria don't even think twice about it, you have to come here for the best sushi because every single thing I ordered was absolutely mouthwatering and to die for. Everything was so fresh there was not one thing that I didn't like I cannot wait to come back to try more things off the menu. Also all the sushi is trademark black rice instead of ur regular white rice. Just wow. Super impressed. Also service was impeccable everyone was super attentive and on top of their game with making sure customers were all satisfied. This place is a gem just saying.

Harumi sushi is located in a plaza in Peoria. It took us a little searching to find it as there are four corners worth of plazas. There is an enclosed patio with heaters and an inside seating area with eight tables and sushi bar seating. We met friends for dinner. We ordered the Crunch Mango roll, chicken gyoza, seaweed salad, 2 bowls of chirashi Don and sake. The roll had mango, crab, rice, salmon and ahi. The chirashi don is sushi rice with assorted sashimi. All were so fresh and tasty. Great service with shared servers. Would definitely return. They do not take reservations. We would've had a 40 minute wait but our friends arrived earlier. Shared parking lot.

We have been here twice so far. Both times the food was delicious. Service was also excellent. I like how you can order your food by writing in what you want in the menu. The restaurant both times, was kind of cold. They left the door open and it wasn't the warmest day. The other time it was summer and it was freezing inside. Also the seats are not the comfiest to sit on and they feel really close to the other tables.

Our friends ordered a wedge salad and we ordered calamari fries. My girlfriend wasn't crazy about the salad but it would be because she doesn't like pork belly. Our husband's loved it. Calamari was very tender and plentiful. I ordered the prime tip skewer with bell pepper and onions. Deliciously tender. My husband ordered the sliced steak that you cook on a 400° stone at your table and it was exceptional. Our friends ordered the meatballs that could be either in a red sauce or a mushroom gravy so they ordered both and my picky friend (her hubby) said one of the best meatballs he has had. The truffle fries were great. High compliments from him all night long. (From the chilled beer glasses that fit his bottle of beer for a perfect poor to the dessert. He was happy!) We ended with a butter cake that had a toasted marshmallow cream and ice cream and their Apple Cobbler. Both enough to share with 4-6 people. (He even praised the ice cream) The above is important but what also made our evening was how fun it was to be playful with our service team. We had Yuri and Krista and oh noooo I forgot to write down our busser's name. He was the best! But really, they all took such good care of us and of course the manager always stops by to check. We will definitely be coming back to happy hour more often, as we all found the dining experience one of the best happy hours around.

But once again this morning was extremely disappointing. I ordered chicken fried steak, gravy, biscuit, scrambled eggs and fried potatoes and the only thing worth eating was the eggs. The steak was the thinnest piece of (meat?) I have ever seen and look at the picture where the breading doesn't even stay on the meat (clearly a frozen piece of something). The gravy had clumps of what looked like flour and was tasteless. The biscuit was as hard as a hockey puck and the "fried potatoes" were clearly fried right out of a frozen bag. Come on Haymakers you can try a little harder to give customers something they can stomach. To top it all off I asked the server if there was a manger and she said we don't have one until 11 AM (clearly inmates running the prison with no quality control). At least the server took care of the bill. This is one of the worst breakfast experiences I have had in Arizona. If I could give zero stars I would. "FIMP" Food is my Passion

We'd eaten here many times before in years past, but it's been a year or so since we've been back. We ordered fresh spring rolls, potstickers, orange chicken, & pork pad Thai, with a side of brown rice. The only thing that was any good at all, was the steamed brown rice. In past experiences there everything seemed cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients. This time, everything appeared to be food purchased pre-prepared, instant packaged food, or bagged frozen food, which was then just deep fried or warmed up in a microwave. I've eaten orange chicken many times and at many other restaurants, including here, and this tasted nothing like anything like I've ever had - it was awful, pungent almost. Plus, the chicken in it was so tough, so full of gristle, and chewy, it was inedible. The pork pad Thai tasted like it had been stir fried using old oil; it was super greasy and we only ate a small portion of it. The potstickers were clearly just re-heated in a microwave, and they were so tough and so hard to chew, we each took one bite and just set them on the plate, and stopped there. The spring rolls just fell apart in the box; and looked more like a box of shredded lettuce & shredded carrots - so there was no dipping them in peanut sauce. Grr... In the end... most of what was a $60 order for two, was thrown away. Sadly, this place used to cook great Thai, but we will never be going back. I hope the owners take note, and return the food to the quality it once was.

Service was exceptional - from wine recommendations to always having full water glasses. The evening began with an impressive charcuterie board featuring a generous assortment of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and antipasti. The board was beautifully arranged and encouraged sharing, conversation, and plenty of flavor exploration. The butternut squash ravoli were served in a rich cream sauce, it was indulgent and satisfying. The pasta was tender and well-filled, while the velvety sauce added a luxurious touch without overwhelming the dish. It was a hit. The orecchiette pasta showcased a more rustic side of Italian cooking. Combined with broccolini, spicy sausage, tomatoes, and a dusting of Parmesan, the dish offered a nice balance of savory, fresh, and earthy flavors. The pasta was perfectly cooked and hearty enough to stand on its own as a memorable entrée. The pizza delivered everything diners hope for from a traditional Italian pie: a beautifully blistered crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and generous toppings. The combination of olives, artichokes, mushrooms, and cured meats created layers of flavor, while the char on the crust suggested a properly hot oven and careful attention to technique. Dessert provided a fitting finale. The tiramisu was light and creamy with a generous dusting of cocoa, offering the classic coffee-and-mascarpone flavors that make it a perennial favorite. The diplomatico was a cream-filled pastry added a contrasting texture with its flaky layers and sweet filling, making it difficult to choose a favorite between the two. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with low lighting that creates a comfortable dining experience. Portions were generous, presentation was appealing, and the menu demonstrated a commitment to traditional Italian flavors. This restaurant excels at delivering authentic Italian comfort food with quality ingredients and generous portions. The standout charcuterie board, flavorful pasta dishes, well-executed pizza, and exceptional desserts combine to create a memorable dining experience that would be easy to recommend for both casual dinners and special occasions.
