We have been looking for a good Thai place for a couple of years after moving from the Seattle area where they are on every corner. This is our new spot! The food was outstanding, service was great and the place was clean. They have Thai and Sushi which for us is great because I love sushi and my wife does not, so it is the best of both worlds. We will definitely be back.

Authentic dishes and the staff are all so nice! We were here a week ago and I forgot to take pictures before we both devoured our food. The food was so good we had to come back. We ordered the beef pho, shrimp green curry (which I forgot to take a picture of), Lao style papaya salad, chicken pad Thai & moo ping pork skewers. All were so authentic & very flavorful! The restaurant was clean and had the right amount of lighting & music volume. I love this place!!

My wife got the Ahi Tuna snack beautiful presentation.

Cozy atmosphere! The service was quick & attentive. Our server was extremely kind and gave great recommendations. Spicy garlic edamame couldve been spicer but it has great flavor. We also tried coconut shrimp, they were big! Some gyoza, chicken fried rice, chicken pad thai, and some crispy cali rolls. Everything was so good! Next time I will definitely get hotter levels.

Unfortunately I was extremely hungry and didn't take a lot of photos. I had an avocado roll with lemon. Such fresh. I also had the Thai curry. So delicious and hit the spot as I was craving Thai curry. Since I ordered through Uber, I can't speak to service or Ambiance. I will definitely visit the restaurant to gain the full experience.

The service was great! It was in celebration of my daughter's birthday . All the food we had was very tasty. The ambiance was moderate to medium glad to see people are enjoying their own company without the pressure of being quiet. The server was attentive and friendly. The food is seasoned well, the portions are good and the flavor of the broths were good.

I'm always a bit apprehensive to leave a less than stellar experience especially on a local business, but the point of my reviews are to give the good, bad, and of course an honest experience. I always try and start by saying I will give a second and sometimes a third stop to make sure things are the same or it was an off night. Here we go. Let's start with the good aspects first. The place is nice. Having frequented often to the location before (if you read the reviews it was Vietnamese) everything is pretty much the same. Same decor down to the wall art. They did however move the entry door. It's clean and quiet enough to hold good conversation. They have a decent lunch menu including some sushi etc. On to the less than stellar, but not overly bad. Service was subpar at best. While our waitress was kind she wasn't very attentive most of our meal either., drinks were refilled and didn't see her besides when our food was brought and I asked her for some hot sauce/chili sauce etc. there were three of us and we opted for chicken fried rice, chicken pho (only option allowed for lunch) but they do have pork etc for regular portions as well as beef and broccoli. My older son is a bit picky so worried to try a bit more of an actual Thai option this go round. We also tried crab rangoons and wonton soup which came as an option with our lunch specials. Our food came out fairly quick. Unfortunately for my son and I we weren't left impressed at all. My pho came out looking really bland by site. Imagine just boiled chicken. Boring. There were no toppings. I took a few bites and yeah bland, no flavor. Again, boring. I was able to get the waitressss attention and ask for some hot sauce or something to add. She brought multiple. To me I'd think they'd do that without asking. It made it better, but I won't order it again. My son's beef and broccoli looked unappetizing all together. There seemed to be a theme with presentation here. The broccoli was turning that yellow color. Like it was about to go bad. Sauce was watery and steak looked dry and over cooked. Meat was chewy and not great quality. He ate mostly rice and a few bites before losing his appetite. The appetizer was good with the sauce. My husband's fried rice he asked for this hot was good. He really enjoyed it and it was HOT. Just how he likes it. Most places just dump domes of chili's and he leaves underwhelmed. Price was pretty good for three people and an appetizer. I agree with a lot of the other reviewers that this place seems to be hit or miss.. Food lacking flavor. I'll try again in a few months or so and update my review then.

So good I had to really stop and write a review. Only place around me and I am not disappointed. Cutie lil place too, atmosphere and ambiance are on point. Decent prices and quick service. Food was so good, very pleased. Will 100% be back.

Pad Thai, level spicy. Pretty good - overall 3.8/5

The best of both worlds! As someone who has eaten a lot of sushi and Thai food over the years, I can say I was so surprised by this place! The sushi was SO fresh (the spicy fire roll was bomb!) and the Thai noodles were pretty good! I would say the sushi shined the most, but the Thai noodles held up compared to other places. The service was quick, which was appreciated since we were starved. Overall very happy with this experience and will be back!

Great food and relatively authentic though the Shrimp Tom Yum soup didn't taste like it does in Thailand but still good.

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.

Get your ass in the car and eat here NOW!…read more Phenomenal. FLAVOR bomb! First time trying Cambodian cuisine and wow -- totally impressed. Flavor is honestly getting harder to find lately, but this place delivers BIG on flavor and especially on spice. They actually have spice levels from 2 all the way up to 15 (yes, fifteen ). I ordered a level 5 and my mouth was definitely on fire -- in a good way. Next time I might go even hotter because the heat didn't overpower the flavor, it enhanced it. Solid vegan options . My husband tried the Cambodian pho, which was a totally new experience for us since we've only ever had Vietnamese pho., Super comforting, really well balanced. Also huge shoutout to our server -- phenomenal service from start to finish. The restaurant itself is adorable too, with handmade art pieces and even beautiful purses imported from Cambodia for sale. Casual vibe, not fancy, but the food, spice, and service absolutely make it worth coming back. First Cambodian experience = a success. We'll definitely be back for more .

They communicated their levels as #5 medium, #10 hot and #15 very hot .Didn't sound like they did in between numbers and it seemed like a strange numbering system. The chilli crisp oil on the table was spicy so we started with Cambodian sour soup at medium spice (#5 ) It usually has chicken broth and fish sauce I believe but the owner made it vegetarian for us. The soup was good but it felt less spicy then we wanted. The tartness of the soup was really good though and as we ate more of the bottom of it it had a tad more spice. It was also good with the table chilli crisp oil. It came in a hot pot as we love and they refilled the candle for us. Their spoons were awkward for the shape of the hotpot and it was a little hard to scoop out the soup. Next we decided to try a curry. All their curries didn't have chicken stock. The yellow one also didn't have shrimp paste we were told and we decided to go with that one. We ordered it at #10 out of 15 spice level with tofu and it also came with some veggies. #10 was flavorful but we probably would have been fine with the highest #15 spice level here. When I walked around to see the art in the restaurant I saw a big sign on a monitor saying they don't refund plates that are too spicy. The yellow curry did feel different than a typical Thai yellow curry which was fun and was good. We definitely would go with the highest spice level here if we were to be back here and I think we would have liked it more that way. Good spot for vegan and vegetarian options. Based on this one experience i'd give it 3.5 stars. I'd have to try more and at the higher spice levels to decide between 3 stars or 4 stars. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Thai Chicken is moist with nice slight char to give you that depth of flavors. Can easily share this. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside, served with a great orangish red sauce. I ordered the way I did on purpose. These are my go to Thai dishes. The staples. I wanted to taste everything I consider my personal favorites so I could really gauge the restaurant across the board. The vegetable egg rolls and chicken satay were good. Solid. The potstickers were good. The chicken larb was actually good, maybe a little too much sugar, it tasted slightly sweet, but still one of the stronger dishes. Mango sticky rice was enjoyable. The Thai iced tea, flavor was on point. That's actually my first indicator when I try a Thai restaurant. The only thing that would've made it better is crushed ice. Real Thai spots usually use crushed ice. It melts perfectly and dilutes the sweetness just right. When you use block ice, the tea stays too sweet longer. Crushed ice gives it that smooth balance. Small detail, but that's how I gauge authenticity. Now to the honest part. The pad Thai was mediocre. It was lacking. I've definitely had better and I wouldn't recommend that dish. The spicy fried rice was okay, nothing special. The lad na gravy was way too thick, and instead of using Chinese broccoli, they used regular American broccoli. That's usually my second give when I rate a Thai restaurant. Traditional lad na uses Chinese broccoli. That swap changes the texture and the authenticity of the dish. They also didn't have the typical sauce that usually complements lad na, which I found strange for a Thai restaurant. The Thai fried rice was decent. Overall, I'm giving this place four stars. Here's my why. First, they didn't have common condiments that are pretty standard at most Thai restaurants. That threw me off. Second, the service. They weren't rude at all. Everyone was friendly. But the attentiveness just wasn't there, especially considering we placed a large order and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Third, the flavor and authenticity details. It just didn't hit the way traditional Thai food usually does. I've eaten Thai food all my life, especially in Thai Town in California and throughout Orange County, and the flavor profile here wasn't on that level. If someone asked me if I would return, probably not. But don't let my review stop you. Be your own judge. My goal isn't to hurt the business. It's feedback. Tighten up the service, dial in the flavor, stick closer to traditional ingredients, and it could easily level up to five stars for my taste. And yes, expectations vary. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, so I may be grading on a different curve. One more tip, if you're a party of six or more, double check your receipt. Gratuity was already included in ours and I didn't realize until I got back to where I was staying since I'm out of town. I had to call and have the extra tip removed. Just keeping it real.
