If you're like me, you aren't a fan of warm rolls, anything deep fried or containing cream cheese, so you'd enjoy our top picks from here: yellowtail nigiri, salmon nigiri, big boy roll, and I think it was a roll with soft shell crab! The counter seating makes it a great place to eat alone. They have a very good selection of plates, plus a full menu if you want to order something specific. Because plates only have two to five pieces each, you can try a number of things in the course of a meal. The drawbacks: Service can be hit or miss; I've had attentive servers and others that were pretty hard to flag down. Also, because once a plate is on the conveyor belt, it stays there, I've gotten some lukewarm rolls and appetizers that are best when they're warm. I've been here many times, probably 3 or 4 at this point. The food here is really good. The sushi is a good price and tastes great, with a lot of variety. The service is usually pretty good, they do a good job at seating you right away and giving you water and utensils. However... on our most recent visit, we both go food poisoning. My boyfriend went to the ER and I had a pretty bad stomach ache the night we had it. It also appears that they have some past issues with the health department. I came in midday on a Friday as I was waiting for my car to be serviced across the street. Staff was nice and friendly, and they were pretty consistently rotating food off the conveyor belt and refreshing. Though I came during a slow day, all of my sushi was great! I had both the salmon, whitetail, and seared tuna, and the tuna/salmon combo sushi which was really good. I also grabbed some veggie rolls which were a little soggy but I couldn't tell if that was from being on the conveyor too long or just cooling off. The ambiance of the restaurant was good! Two TV's in the main room (one CNN one on sports). It is a little dark but during the daytime I had no issues seeing. Overall, this was a great place for sushi! I just left right now very disappointed, mainly with the manager. My daughter ordered shrimp, sushi, and it tasted funny so I requested for them to take it back. The manager gaslighted us saying if my daughter has had shrimp before because it taste like shrimp. She took one of the sushi and tried it and it taste fine. We were in the area and wanted some quick sushi. We love Sushi on Tatum (Sushi Station) by Desert Ridge and decided to try it out. We were seated and provided waters. The server assumed we would just grab from the belt (which we were) but I wanted a side of eel sauce and we never saw her to flag her down until the check. The rolls were okay but there wasn't many on rotation. It looked like there were more drinks,candies and desserts. The edamame was hot and good and the rolls we had were okay but wish there were more options. We hadn't been back for many years, the change of ownership, pandemic, etc. But after several years, we decided to return. It was just as great as we remembered it, except really crowded on Friday. That's great it's crowded, that means the food rotates often. The number of selections were very good as usual but this time there were not as many raw fish plates as they were before so you had to wait quite a while before the raw fish would get replenished. There were a lot of rolls and other odds and ends items like egg rolls, desserts, apple juice, etc. All of the fish plates we had seemed fresh, and were not fishy smelling. The small cheesecakes were delicious as well as the tiramisu. Most of the raw fish plates were in the $3.75 green plate category. We ended up eating quite a bit. And I had 16 green plates and a handful of other colored plates. I also had an iced tea which was delicious and they refilled it often. My total was $93 before tax and tip. And I did not feel overstuffed but I was satiated. The other person who came with me probably only got half as many plates and a soda and he seemed to enjoy all of his plates as well. The only thing that I was uncertain about is the clam sushi because I didn't know if it was cooked or raw and what it was supposed to taste like. It was quite chewy and I did not like it uncooked so I did not eat the second piece. Overall excellent place clean and great service. The only thing we would ask is for more raw fish and sushi on the conveyor belt at a time so we wouldn't have to wait as long for them to come around. Although you may see a few bad reviews overall the restaurant continues to do well and have overall high reviews by many many people even after changing ownership and luckily surviving the pandemic. read more

QUICK FUN OPTION! This is not the most fresh or delicious sushi, but it's pretty good. I like revolving sushi because you can get small portions of many different types of sushi for a decent price. They also have lots of desserts and small dishes such as edamame, gyoza, and crab Rangoon on the conveyer belt. The gyoza I had was definitely cold, unfortunately. Every roll I had was good. I really liked the California tempura roll, the tempura shell was warm and crispy. For the price I spent ($20 before tip) I would have rather shelled out an extra $5 for some all you can eat sushi elsewhere which would probably be more fresh. I definitely could have eaten more sushi, but didn't want to spend much more than $20 on some less than amazing sushi. The cheapest plates were $2.50. Round and round goes the sushi! This was my first experience at a revolving sushi bar and I must say, I had a lot of fun! I've only ever seen them in videos before today. My friend and I sat right at the bar in front and picked out several options -- I always love salmon so that came first and I was happy that the sushi was pretty good quality for the price, although the fish slices were a little on the thin side. It isn't the quality you'd get at a higher end sushi place but still yummy and satisfying. Sushi isn't the only thing you can find sliding down the conveyer belt -- there are beverages, appetizers (gyoza, squid salad, crab puffs), and desserts. There is a nice selection of sushi as well, it seems there is something for everyone, whether you want a simple California roll or a spicy tempura roll topped with calamari. The plates are color-coded to indicate the price, and your check will reflect the plates you chose. Each plate contains a pretty small serving, but that seems to be typical for this style of restaurant. I paid around $16 for gyoza and 4 plates of sushi, and found it quite filling and worth the price. As for the environment, it's a clean restaurant with attentive service that brings you your drinks, check, etc. in a timely manner. It is a bit on the noisy side since it was decently crowded today and of course, the clanking of the kitchen. You can sit right in front of the kitchen at the bar like I did, or sit at a booth. The belt goes all around the restaurant so you won't miss out no matter where you sit. Overall this is absolutely a place I would return. It's easy on the wallet while still being quite tasty. If I were craving specific sushi in a calmer, more aesthetically pleasing setting, perhaps I'd head elsewhere, but for the experience and other things I brought up, it was great. read more
