This was one of the first sushi places I found when I moved back to Phoenix in 2017. No matter where I go, I always come here every few months for the comfort, relaxed atmosphere, and reasonably priced dishes. My husband and I were sat right away yesterday morning, we received our drinks quickly, and the server was readily available. The food is served on a conveyer belt with color coded plates. We used to like this place because it was good, affordable, and quick. They used to be better but every time we go now the line is mostly desserts, drinks, single dishes that have been sitting there for a while, and they're too busy taking menu orders to replenish the line. This time, a couple sitting down after/next to us received all of their menu orders and left before I got a single thing to eat (30mins on a Sunday evening.) Great dining experience!! My nephew suggested this place. All the sushi travels around on a conveyor belt and you pick your own. The sushi is on different colored plates, each color has a price, and next to the table is a chart that shows how much the plates are. You can also order from the menu. My friend ordered the shrimp tempura from the menu and that was excellent. All the sushi was fresh and the service was excellent. We've been coming to this restaurant for almost two years and have always had a great experience, which made this visit especially disappointing. The woman who appeared to be the owner was extremely rude throughout our visit. We asked for a menu twice and were completely ignored, so we eventually got up and grabbed one ourselves. When she noticed, instead of saying anything, she simply tossed a marker onto our table so we could mark our order. Throughout the meal, we were ignored multiple times whenever we tried to ask for something. On more than one occasion, she made eye contact with us and walked right past without acknowledging us. We chose this restaurant to celebrate my mom's birthday, but unfortunately the poor service completely overshadowed the experience. It's disappointing because we've always enjoyed coming here, and this level of customer service was unlike anything we've experienced before. Great little sushi spot we've been coming to for years! Inexpensive and straight forward, we feed our family of 4 for usually less than $30. I'm sure that there's places that are fancier, higher end, etc, but for casual and good this is the spot! It's always been fairly busy so if you're in a larger group plan to wait for a table, and service can be slow during peak hours. Sadly, this was an average place to visit but that was ruined last week. A coworker injured her finger on a chair that had a loose seat, and the server failed to recognize or assist though she bled on both the table and counter. She offered napkins to clean up the blood (health code violation) and never brought back bandages when I requested as she was clearly injured. We had to go to the emergency room. Very poor handling of an injury that was caused by faulty furniture. I will NEVER go back! read more

Recently tried this place and was hesitant due to seeing the reviews. Walking into the establishment you aren't greeted by anyone at all. No "hello" etc. so don't expect that. We signed in and waited for our turn. The tea tasted fine. I would say the food was pretty decent. Nothing looked old. They were putting fresh food out on the second conveyor belt. Victor, I think, is a terrible waiter. He ignored me multiple times when I tried to get his attention. I tried to give him my credit card when he came to the table to add up our bill but again, he ignored me. When he came back he said they ALWAYS add up the tab before taking payment. I talked to the chefs and the older waitress and voiced my how upset about how I was treated. Furthermore I told the waitress I did not want him waiting on me anymore. He was listening in on our conversation and made a sarcastic comment, "I won't". Needless to say he did not get a tip. I have been coming to this place almost once a week for the past 10+ years. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by anyone at this establishment. I have NEVER not left a tip. The staff and chef's all know who I am and know my service dog. I love it here! Such a fun and festive time every time! The plates are only $3 so you can be as broke or rich as you feel that day. Pretty yummy stuff but definitely needs to be colder. Came in a little late and the conveyor belt was missing a lot of food . So thank you to the sushi creators of the night. They whipped anything on the list. Yes the sushi was fresh and delicious. Miso soup was a bit on the salty side but not bad. Our server was nice and quick. Place was on the soft side of noise unless you're sitting next to a chatty couple which is fine as long as they didn't wait for a response while stuffing my face lol. The service from the females working was minimal and unpleasant. I always get ice tea because it tells me what to expect food wise- if your ice tea tastes horrible then it means you don't pay attention to detail. What bothers me more is when I express it is unpleasant and you get a snotty attitude ~ like hello I didn't make the ice tea why you mad? Your ice tea tasted like it was mixed with dishwater. This was the first time I visited a conveyer belt style sushi but as I watched the same food rotate around it just didn't sit well with me. People sit very close to each other if you're doing the belt and not an individual table but I was never asked if I would prefer a table so I went with the flow. I decided to try potstickers first and they were dry and cold. Since I wasn't sure what everything would cost and the service was less than par I chose to close out my bill and venture off to another sushi place in the area since I had driven 20 minutes to come here. Sushi is a hard one to share opinions due to everyone's different pallet- for me this is a never again place. But don't take my word for it!!!! I used to love this place when I lived in Chandler a few years back. I decided to take the wife here, we got there about 8:35pm the waiter advised last call for sushi order and we 9:10pm and it was plenty of time. The sushi belt was a bit light so I ordered the house special the haru sushi 4 orders and the tiger roll from the waiter directly. That order came out in less than 10 min and I was able to get quite a few other things off the belt. The sushi is exactly what you expect for $2-$3 per plate. It's not the best I've ever had, but for the price it did the job. I was actually expecting the prices to be a lot higher, and I'm pretty sure it's only gone up like $.50 since a plate since I last visited. The entire meal was was $29 that was 10 $2 plate, 1 $3 plate and two drinks. I'm giving it a 4 because the wait staff was attentive, the food came out quickly, and the price was decent. This place was great for an inexpensive weeknight date night. The restaurant has Japanese decor and a revolving conveyor so you can pick what you want. There is a "menu" that basically tells you that if you select this plate it is this much. For example the blue plates are $3. The only down side is we were never offered any type of menu (to include a bar menu) so not sure if they serve alcohol. It's been some time since I came into this place. They typically are nice and courteous .. but this round. The old Asian lady (assuming she's the owner) was rude. I was to meet a friend here but I was early and super hungry so I ordered many and had a spot reserved for her . As they get busy I could understand then taking the seat reserved for incoming customers. My friends shows up very late and asked we can move to an end spot to accommodate us both. Said lady insisted I "pay up front" so I did. She walked off with my credit card and started wiping tables . I stood waiting for her to return my card and seat us. She came up to me assuming I was getting my card back ... she rudely says "move out of my way" . I stepped aside . We continued to be seated at the end in which by then was only 3 other patrons and ourselves. She wouldn't serve me and walked on by and said something's to the other workers I am the one paying. The other employees came out served me instead . By this unacceptable behavior I vow never to return simply because the lack of respect and decency to help customers. This doctor will never recommend to anyone else as a result. To that rude old lady. Quit while you're ahead. It's super casual and may not look like the food will be great but you just can't beat this place. Sushi plates are price/color coded ranging $1-4/plate. The Gyoza was one of the items taken from the bar. They where good, but I feel like if they where ordered from the menu they would have been a lot warmer.
