Visited here with my family and half of us are from the conveyor belt (all you can eat) and half of us ordered from the menu. Some of the food from the belt was cold (chicken tonkatsu) and had been sitting for a while obviously (avocado was brown). But majority of the sushi looked fresh and was very delicious. The food ordered from the menu was great! Lots of creative and fun rolls. The staff was kind and service was quick. We were a little nervous because we were the only group in there, but it was a good place to go with our group. My only note is to be careful with some of the food on the conveyor belt. Just avoid this by ordering off the menu.

Came here for lunch today cuz it was right next to Snowtime. But was kind of disappointed with the sushi selection on the conveyor belt. The salmon tasted fresh, but the tuna was so so.

We wanted a revolving sushi spot and this popped up, so we thought we'd give it a try. The sushi was what is to be expected with a revolving sushi bar, nothing exciting stood out. The service was good just a little bit of a language barrier. It was very clean and they kept the sushi on the belt constantly replenished.

This is absolutely the go to for well priced sushi with decent quality. It has a ton of options and service is great. It's fast and effective and they have Korean food implemented as well. Once again it's not your high end expensive sushi. But you can order off the menu for more expensive fresher rolls.

The toilet does not flush all the way. I recommend a plumber to assist.

Music selection, and atmosphere is subpar. The location was clean and no smelt no odors however, the variety of options to eat from was lackluster and underwhelming, The quality of the product available also disappointing. The rice was dry. Fish was dry. And overall not a good quality for the price, I've been to many different sushi places and this one as far as the most disappointing and will not be returning. Additionally their restrooms could use a little TLC, they look under managed. The service was also subpar. The female working only came to my table when I first sat down for a beverage and never returned.

Finally a conveyor belt sushi that is fresh and budget friendly! It's convenient to pop in to satisfy the sushi cravings!

This place is pretty nice to take people who've never been to a rotating sushi place. It's pretty cheap for a lot of sushi. Been here twice with family. They normally play classical music while you eat and there's typically not too many people here. The people are cute and kind. The waitress will only check up on you once to get your drink order while you're there. I came earlier in the day both times and we're normally the only people there for awhile until we were about to leave. It's very laid back, nice place to grab a bite and talk. Music isn't crazy loud. Nice variety of sushi, sometimes wish there was more but I don't either since it's pretty cheap and nice already.

I am BIG on sushi and Big Sushi is BIG fun serving delicious sushi at BIG value. I gorged on a delightful variety of tuna, shrimp, crab, salmon, conch nigiri; california, avocado(very fresh & tasty)rolls; edamame; shrimp tempura and even cute mini cheesecakes! Everything tasted great and I enjoyed grabbing the dishes right off the conveyor(can't beat the instant gratification of sushi conveyor belts). Service by the Manager and staffer Johnny was excellent bringing out multiple sprites and cleaning off my dishes promptly and courteously. I rate Big Sushi the best sushi deal in Chandler and possibly the eastside. Highly recommended and I know my sushi having eaten at many of the best sushi restaurants in LA.

I went to Snowtime right next-door to get some soft serve ice cream and stumbled upon big sushi while I was there. Lucky for me I found this place because I think it's my next favorite sushi spot. It's got a conveyor belt of several small plates that are all reasonably priced between $1.50 to $3.00. It was happy hour when I went so, all the plates that were $2.50 were $2.00. Some plates were warm like the tempura shrimp, fried rice while others were nice and chilled like the California rolls, seaweed salad, and several other items. There were hardly any people there so it was nice and had ample room for everyone to sit far apart from each other. The service was helpful and the restaurant was nice and clean.

I liked Big Sushi because there was not a lot of people in the restaurant. This made it easier for me to get what I wanted from the conveyor belt without other people getting to it first. I thought the place was rather quiet. The waitress was sitting and talking with another table in-between seating us and giving us the bill. The sushi was good typical flavors, tastes, and textures. I liked that they had a lot of California roll variations. They had some California rolls with a crunchy topping and others with something else on top. Therefore, I liked it. I think I will go back again soon when I am feeling like sushi again. Like most sushi places, they had ginger in a bowl on the table. Interestingly, the restaurant is open to another restaurant adjacent to it, through a doorway. The place next door is a dessert place.

I really wanted to love you big sushi, especially since you are right next to snowtime. Unfortunately, especially compared to other revolving sushi places i've been to around here, this spot misses the mark a bit. I will say, the place was extremely clean when we arrived. It's a cute space, but not terribly large. This may prove to be an issue since you can only serve so many people at once. Service was friendly and we promptly received drinks. For being called "Big Sushi" there is nothing big about the items on the belt. Rolls are usually a small 3 pieces and the nigiri that does appear on the belt are tiny cuts with a minuscule amount of rice. The trade off is that the plates are pretty cheap, a lot of $2 and $1.50 options, but I just didn't see the value. I much rather pay an extra $ .50 - $1 per plate for better items. The rolls were all similar, mostly consisting of crab filler, tempura shrimp or cucumber. The fish was okay but I didn't feel as confident about its taste and appearance as I have at other places. The cards telling you which roll had what in it also just gave you the roll name and didn't break down everything that was in/on them. I know we have eyes but sometimes you can't tell exactly what is in something. Not a big deal but just something I noticed that other places usually do. Also, soda comes in cans so no free refills. They are only $1.50 though so if you don't usually need refills at restaurants that's nice. Overall, I wasn't thrilled with anything I ate. We ended up leaving after only spending about $10. There are worse places but I won't return.

Do any of you know if they have gluten free soy sauce?

I only saw kikkoman soy, but feel free to call n ask if they have others.. Tamari, I think is the better option for GF... Bragg Liquid Aminos would be a great alternative also.. maybe carry your own..

One of the coolest things about this place is that when you grab your plate off of the revolving conveyor belt, you can feed your empty plate into a slot in the table. It keeps count of how many plates you've put in, and when you've reached five plates a cartoon comes on the screen. When You reach 15, a prize in the ball falls out for you! We got a second prize after we hit 25 plates. Aside from the conveyor belt that revolves around, there's a little robot that comes to bring you your drinks, which you can order on the screen. There are tables and booths around the conveyor belt, as well as some chairs that simply face it. The sushi is pretty good here - - my favorite is the seared eel. It is so delicious! "How's everything so far? Good? Ok."…read more After completing my workout I was wondering on what I should eat afterwards and I just so happened to be craving sushi. However, the usual spot I recently ate at for all you can eat sushi had shut down...I did remember watching a video about the sushi challenge for Crazy Tuna on TikTok awhile ago and I was amazed...But I didn't want to attempt and be pictured in the hall of shame. So I came here. "How are we doing so far?" I showed up during the evening and was greeted by the hostess and they kindly showed me how to order. It was pretty similar to other all you can eat sushi spots but this location does not use a tablet to order which I liked. The ambiance was dark but well lit. It was quite cozy while I ate alone. "How are we doing so far here?" I glanced over the menu and saw a plentiful amount of sushi rolls and nigiris...but I lately I've been enjoying handrolls...On their menu there was not an option for handrolls so I asked a kind, attentive server about it and they said "just mark HR next to the one you'd like". So I ordered 3 spicy tuna handrolls and miso soup for the first round. I did not wait too long for my food to arrive. The quality of the food was delightful and fresh. I really enjoyed the "How are we here?" sushi rice; it had a nice vinegary taste to it. Besides the sushi hand rolls I also ordered some specialty rolls which I unfortunately do not remember the name of...but it was delicious. The miso soup was pretty standard for its taste, nothing too special. While eating I did notice that the service was odd...but I was not annoyed by it...Some servers would stop by my table to check up on me frequently and ask "How are we doing so far?" Maybe they had a complaint about their service l? Who knows? This kind of service was quite funny to me but I still enjoyed my food. Overall, Crazy Tuna will be my go to spot for all you can eat sushi in Chandler. The price is reasonable, the service is top notch and very attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy. I rate this place a 9/10. Adam Nguyen Copyright 2026 - All Rights Reserved.

The black/purple rice is not optional and it's not as sticky as their previous rice and has hard pieces in it. This was my go-to spot but I am not sure that I will back soon with the changes made.

That said, I've figured out the hack: come right when they open for lunch after 11am. It's a completely different experience. You can order exactly what you want, and it comes out almost immediately. Way more enjoyable and efficient. Even during my first visit, I still had fun. The little robot that delivers drinks and wasabi is a cute touch and definitely adds to the experience. The concept itself is great, it just depends on timing. Food-wise, it's a bit hit or miss. I do NOT recommend the spicy tuna or regular tuna. The quality hasn't been great in my experience it tends to have stringy fat and sometimes tastes fishy. On the other hand, the spicy yellowtail hand roll is consistently my favorite. It always looks fresh with a nice color and texture. The app is also a little confusing. When you try to pay, it still redirects you to a QR code and opens a webpage instead of using the app directly, which makes you wonder why you even need the app in the first place. One more tip: double-check your to-go orders. They've forgotten utensils, soy sauce, and wasabi for me before. Overall, the staff are really nice, even though interaction is pretty minimal. If you go at the right time and know what to order, it can be a really fun and satisfying experience.

The menu was 5 courses prix fixe designed by the head chef for this group. The restaurant was closed as a private event. Service was excellent, the food was also so delicious, and cocktails were great too. Shimogamo is one of the few Japanese restaurants in the valley that remind me of eating Japanese food in Japan. It's well prepared, fresh, and high quality. The cocktails are creative and nods to Japan with delicate flavors and unique ingredients. Our courses were: started with the truffle amberjack which is a flavor bomb, very rich and truffle forward. Which I don't always enjoy but when paired with amberjack, it was great. 2nd course was a nigiri plate- 4 choices: sea bream (which I love), a fancy type salmon, toro, and couple pieces of the wagyu roll. Next onto a darn near perfect crab croquet that was creamy with big pieces of crab and perfectly fried, and main course was K4 ranch Wagyu from Prescott. Very buttery and delicious. We ended with a matcha basque cheesecake. The chefs talked about the food, answered questions, and talked about their background. It was an enjoyable dinner and we will be back for the "oysters and cocktails" hour they were promoting. I love both of those things.
