Even though i did not have any fish service and food is excellent make sure you pair with ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi though because it makes it 10X Better definitely trying the desert

Got here at 9:03pm after driving 15 minutes across town since their hours online and posted on the building say 10pm, just to be told they weren't serving anyone else. It was not busy, they just said they already did last call. Then close at 9 or at least 9:30

Decided to give Sushi San a try on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm. Definitely not a super popular dining time, as the restaurant wasn't too busy. I wish I had remembered to take a photo of the interior since it is comfortable and cute. All of our rolls were very solid and the quality of fish seemed decent as well. The prices were fair as well. The menu is extensive and there are more specials written on chalkboard on the walls (but to be honest are a bit hard to read). I would consider this a middle tier sushi restaurant where you're willing to pay a bit more for better quality fish (as opposed to an AYCE spot), but it's definitely not one of the more expensive upscale sushi spots. For me this will be a new go-to casual date night spot! Service was attentive and we had no issues at all. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other menu items!

Worth every penny. I don't like sushi, but my sister loves it, so we went to Sushi San together. I ate the egg rolls and dumplings. Both were amazing. I usually feel like I'm eating an afterthought when I order a non-sushi meal at a sushi restaurant, but both of my dishes were delicious. My sister enjoyed her sushi. She originally thought two plates would be too much food, but after trying them, she had no problem eating every roll. The only reason I didn't give 5 out of 5 is that the ordering process is a little awkward (especially if you have a personality like me where you feel anxious ordering at restaurants). We were handed a paper and asked to fill it out with our order. Not all of the options on the menu were on the paper. I am pretty sure they told us what to do with the paper when we were done, but we couldn't hear them in the noise of the restaurant, and spent some time debating who, if anyone, we should approach to find out.

Does this look like $55 worth of food?

The quality of the sushi here was laughable. Got seaweed salad, fried tofu, spicy salmon roll, rocky roll, and McQueen roll. The spicy tuna was goopy. The salmon was so fishy. The rolls were majorly made up of rice. The seaweed salad was the size of half of a fist, but cost $7, the most expensive I've ever seen it. The rolls were bland and didn't even taste like sushi. The tofu was tasteless (how do you mess up fried tofu?). Overall, was so overpriced for what you're getting. Not worth the drive for me.

I got the Udon Carbonara $15! This dish was delicious. The udon itself was AL Dente, chewy and soft at the same time. I honestly can just slurp the udon because of how good the texture is. The sauce was so creamy. And the bacon was a nice add to the dish. It was not greasy and the bacon flavor shines throughout the dish with the sauce and udon. Today's special was Truffle chicken meatball. It was so good! Comes with yuzu salt and spicy salt on the side. It has all the flavors combined: light sweetness from the sauce, savory from chicken, citrus from lemon, spicy and yuzu flavor from the Japanese salts. Can't wait to go back to try more items on the lunch menu. The staff was really nice, welcoming, and make conversations with us. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere.

When I walked in, I was promptly directed to where I should go so I could place a takeout order. The genuine courtesy of the staff here was just what I needed after a long day. Lots of great options for sushi but ramen sounded amazing on a chilly winter day. I ordered a couple options and requested for the toppings to be separated so my picky eater could pick out what she didn't like. The food was out promptly and packaged with such care. Once I got it back to my daughter's hospital room, we were able to feast on the best meal we had all day. I will definitely be coming back to this place again and I am grateful for their kindness just when I needed it. Highly recommend!

Our server was attentive, happy hour was good and everything came out quickly. The cucumber salad was super refreshing and gyoza were yummy with a delicious sauce. We ordered sake bombs, and I absolutely love that they serve them with frosty chilled glasses. We tried two different ramen bowls and both were packed with flavor. The spice levels felt pretty accurate, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the meat was tender, and the noodles had a great texture. Each bowl had its own flavor profile, but both were equally delicious. We also tried the takoyaki (octopus balls). I was already getting full, so I wasn't as excited about them, but my boyfriend described them as a BBQ pancake bite. Overall, this is a great spot for ramen. I did notice the music was all girl bands and no boy bands. Clean restaurant, good service, flavorful food, and a fun atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.

Rolls are smaller and taste like grocery store sushi rather than quality restaurant sushi. The sauces are different and used way more sparingly, the cuts of the ingredients are inconsistent. The rice tastes cheaper and the fish and fruits are unrecognizable. The Baja roll and Primo rolls use to be my favorite rolls anywhere. I ordered both and I honestly couldn't even finish the Baja roll. Cheap fish, canned fruit, almost no sauces. I'd honestly rather pay $25 a roll to have the old rolls back rather than these new versions. Sadly, I probably won't ever return unless they go back to the old level of quality for their rolls. The restaurant itself was also impressive. The dining area was open, clean, and inviting, making for a very comfortable experience. My only criticism would be the pork chashu.
