The only issue is they never ever answered their phone. Why have a phone number if you don't answer it?? Anyway, we decided to take the drive. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Staff invited us to sit where we pleased. Staff brought us water and the menus. The conveyor belt goes around slowly with many sushi, nigiri, dessert and beverages to choose from. Many of the sushi choices are spicy; spicy tuna, spicy sauce and jalapeños. We skipped those. Our choices for the evening were rainbow roll, 3 different fishes, 4 pieces; Sky Crossing roll, Crab mix, avocado, salmon, crunch, white sauce, 4 pieces; salmon nigiri, 2 pieces, & squid salad (forgot to photo). All were delicious and satisfying. I like that there were no worries about leftovers. We could regulate the amount of sushi and nigiri we ate. No doubt we will return before the special is over. We visited this restaurant because our typical revolving sushi place was closed and it was my daughters birthday. It was a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Sushi was decent but disappointed that there weren't more "fried" rolls. Place was pretty slow but we still had to flag our server over a few times. She's either new or inexperienced. We appreciated the mochi that was offered as a birthday dessert. The restrooms were clean but they didnt offer paper towels to dry hands, and the blower was way too high for my son to reach as were the sinks. As revolving sushi goes, it did just as fine as any other that I,ve frequented. The food held up to the modest standards of the revolving sushi brand and I wasn't upset. But I'm not going back and here's why. $100 for a bill feels best spent on an experience as well as the food. This place felt like a combination of 12 locations and couldn't decide how to decorate itself. I felt nothing compelling or original and felt sorry for the only waiter there. It's been a while since we've been in and ownership has changed hands. It was a fairly busy Wednesday night but we were greeted warmly and offered a table. Our server brought water and asked if we had questions but we were already watching that conveyor belt. The plethora of beautifully crafted sushi sliding past your table can make decisions hard but we shared a number of rolls. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious. Nothing stood out in a good or bad way. I went here thinking the conveyor belt sushi was a good option for dinner as it was getting late and we were all very hungry. Sadly the items on the belt did not have ingredients listed and it was not as well organized as other sushi-on-conveyor-belt style restaurants I've been to across the country. My sushi had salmon skin and fat still attached!! It was delivered through DD and for whatever reason my review wasn't posted!! I've never had this happen anywhere. Why would the sushi bar send me 2 salmon rolls that were knowingly not prepared to minimum standards. I lost my appetite and couldn't eat my meal. We tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was a disappointment. The sushi did not taste fresh on the rotating belt, it wasn't busy and looked like it sat there for hours- the rice was very tough and tasted old. We also ordered teriyaki chicken which I thought would be like in a skewer but it looked like sliced turkey with a drizzle of sauce on top (not worth $11.99 for 5 thin pieces of chicken with a drizzle of teriyaki on top). This spot is a little closer to us than the usual conveyor belt sushi joint we normally go to so we decided to give them a try. The restaurant itself was very clean & looks nice, there is plenty of seating and their belt seems to go by at a pretty decent pace, so you won't have to sit around waiting forever for the dishes to go by. Aside from what is on the belt they have a menu with a wide range of different items that can be made to order. We went during a pretty slow time of the day. There were only three other tables when we arrived that had guests at them. Even so all of the dishes we grabbed off of the belt were the appropriate temperatures they should be at. I do wish that they offered a few other tempura-based rolls like a tempura California roll. Pricing wise the prices are pretty good especially if you are on a budget, though if you are trying to stick to a smaller budget, I would order water instead of a soda especially if you do not normally get refills. The only negative thing about our experience was the staff weren't around much. We had noticed that no gyoza had been added to the belt so we had wanted to order some along with a few menu only items so I tried flagging down our waitress several times but she didn't notice. At the same time there was a couple standing at the register for 8+ minutes waiting for someone to come over so they could pay their bill. Our original waitress didn't end up coming back to our table so when another girl had come over to the table we just opted to get the check instead of ordering what we had planned on getting. I love sushi and have always been skeptical about conveyor belt sushi. However this place is a 10/10. I can go when they are opening or about to close and still get the freshest sushi. JJ and Sumo rolls are absolutely my favorite. They also have a full menu to order from if you're not feeling sushi. It's super convenient when you're wanting something quick and tasty and don't want to spend forever in the restaurant. The service is pretty good as well. My husband and I have not been to a sushi go round since we moved to AZ from Japan in 2016, and this place made us homesick for Japan. The sushi was all amazing and so flavorful. They have a wide variety that comes around on the belt or you have the option to order from their menu if you don't see something you like.
