One of the first things I noticed was the large sushi bar and being able to watch the sushi chefs at work. There were five of them, which I took as a sure sign this place gets busy. I ordered the spider roll, salmon avocado roll, and steamed edamame. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what I was hoping for. One unique thing about Kodo is their rice blend. They use a combination of black and white rice, which gives the sushi a distinctive purple color. It's not something you see every day, and it definitely makes their sushi stand out.
