She is also a great sex educator and sells high quality and well-curated toys in her store. She'll give you great advice and is just fun and easy to be around and talk to. Lastly she's super LGBTQ+ welcoming and embracing - so it doesn't matter who you are you will be welcomed and made to feel very comfortable at Moss.

I love this place…read more After a year of coming here I have had my nails done by many of the different nail techs and each time I have been impressed by how much they seem to care about the job they are doing. With that said, there are varying levels of skill at this salon. Just like you would find at any salon. You can pick a specific nail tech of your choosing if you prefer. Cynthia, the owner, is wonderful. It's not easy to run this sort of business but she does a great job and genuinely cares about the customers and her employees. He asks can I wait because there are three other people ahead of me, I said no I really couldn't and that's why I made an appointment. Very, very disappointing experience. Why let me check in for my appointment but then don't service me? Why was another woman with an appointment serviced before me? Why was there no real solution offered except wait for an undisclosed amount of time? I thought people were friendlier down south but clearly the businesses are not. 0/10.

I specifically called to book the March Special, even clarifying this with the receptionist on the phone. Despite that, they booked me for regular haircuts and blow-dry instead. The issues only grew from there: * Pricing Discrepancy: The math on my initial $139 invoice didn't add up ($62 + $67 = $129). * Credit Card Error: The computer system showed one price when I paid, but my credit card was actually charged a different, higher amount. * Retrofitting the Math: When I pointed out the $139 total didn't match the $129 in services, I was sent a new invoice that suddenly included tax to justify the original $139. It felt like they were reverse-engineering the total by adding tax after the fact to make the numbers 'work.' I have never had tax added like that on any hair services. The salon offered to honor the special on a future visit, but since I'm from out of town, that doesn't help resolve the current overcharge. It's a shame because the talent in the chair is top-tier, but the lack of transparency and handling of the mishap were very disappointing. If you go for the great stylists, double-check your booking and your bank statement!"
