I popped in on Saturday to get a clean up up my brows. There was no line, so I was led to a chair and the gentleman asked what service I was looking for. I let him know that I just wanted a clean up and to keep the thickness of my brows. He cleaned up my brows quickly and exactly like how I wanted them. Quick in and out service and not too pricey ($12). I paid in cash, but they do also accept credit cards. I definitely will return when I need another clean up of my eye brows. read more

I stopped in and was very pleased with the service and skill of the technician. It was much less painful than waxing and he did my lip and brows, all for $18 and 10 minutes. I have been here about 2 times this year and have to finally write a review. I have always been a huge fan of another threader in the area and decided I'd try out a new place since my sister recommended it. Never again. My eyebrows require low maintenance. They aren't very bushy and they have the perfect arch for my face. I came in here asking to just have the strays cleaned up. I now have little to no eyebrows. They are so thin!! I've edited my review because the man who was doing my eyebrows was apparently upset I said he wasn't friendly or social and sent me a nasty message via yelp. I was surprised after leaving a good review and recommending this place. It's 8 dollars for eyebrows and the technician did a good job. I think he didn't trim my eyebrows just right so I had to finish it when I got home. Overall it was a clean threading. 4 stars because he didn't seem to be too social or friendly, which isn't a big deal. I did like it better than the other two places, the ones in Southpoint. I liked it because he didn't harass me or decide to tell me what my eyebrows should look like - as one salon did and take off more than I asked for. The other salon is 10 bucks! I've been here monthly since January for brow threading and each time has been consistently great. The location is simple and clean, the technician is friendly but not overbearing, and the price is definitely reasonable. In addition, the young man who does the threading is very skilled. He is both fast as well as has an excellent eye for eyebrow shape! I have been very happy with the results each time. I had a previous regular spot in Patterson Place but they changed management and the quality went way down. Wah Brow was a perfect solution. I've been coming to Wah for about 8 months now, for my brows, facials, and the occasional massage. They always do a great job of brow shaping, taking off what needs to go but nothing else. It is a gentle process, and much less painful than some other threading places I've tried and definitely better for sensitive skin than waxing. Dorothy always does my facials and she is fantastic! She is very kind and non-judgemental about her client's skin, and is always on time. She also knows her clients and their needs well! My skin always looks and feels better in the following weeks and regular visits have really helped with dry patches and acne. It is reasonably priced for a mini ($35) or full ($49-90, depending on the service) facial, especially considering the prices of other facial spas in the area. Their massage service is also great. You will definitely be sore for a few days after but good hydration and stretching helps that and you'll feel amazing after it goes away. Their chair massages really help with shoulder pain, and their table massages can be intense but worthwhile. All around this is a great place that I'll keep coming back to! read more

This is a no frills , affordable threading place. I've been here a few times and the staff was friendly-ish. I've gotten my eyebrows and full face threaded(ouch, never again) they were relatively quick and I was satisfied with the results. They didn't over thread my brows and they have a loyalty card so after you visit 10 times you get something. I would go again for brows if I was too lazy to do them at home. read more

Surprisingly good. The shop itself is a little sketchy and the guy who did my brows didn't seem to know a lot of English, but he was really fast and they ended up turning out really well despite that. Worst service ever , let me start by stating that I went in wah brow in durham nc on the August the 16 , 2005 for a brow tint ,single lashes and eyebrow treading . I spent a lot of money in there just because I was heading on vacation the very next day to Old San , Puerto Rico and I wanted to be marvelous. After finishing she kept trying to get me to purchase more items like eyebrow powder which was fine but I didn't like the way it made me look so I keep on insisting on I'm fine no thanks. And being that I came in at 6 and they closed at 7 I felt as if I was getting a little rushed and I say this only because I'm a perfectionist specially if I'm paying I tried to let them know if there is something that I did or did not like as far a when I got my lashes they were very thin which I wanted full but not too full * they started popping off the very next day ..* now a week later I have enough to count about 10-14 on one eye and 6 on the other for $69 not worth it at all never again at least not here . As I remind you this are the single and not cluster individuals . Brow tinting ok ,but I wish she could have told me it wouldn't last on the skin I would have just like to have tried henna or tattooing them because I like the tattoo look . So once I got back from vacation I called then went by there to show them my outcome well the want to redo everything but when she said $30 for clusters I'm like no I just spent a grip with you last week and all you can do is insist on me paying for more the the average price of cluster lashes in salons . Well it ended with me Leaving pissed by I have morals so I left it at you need it more than I do speech and told them they really need to let customers know just exactly what they are getting before making large purchases. read more

I don't get my eyebrows done very often because it's expensive and I'm ok with a little hair on my face. I went to wah brow today and the man doing my eyebrows took one look at my face and called his coworker over asking if they could get a before and after picture for their display. Not only was this embarrassing in itself, but the shop was also full of other people waiting to get their brows done who were sitting right next to me. I tried to laugh it off saying I didn't want a picture, but I was honestly pretty upset to the point where I told him the job he did was fine even though he missed a couple patches just because I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. Don't go to wah brow if you don't want your hair removal experience to be any more painful than it already is. read more

I've being here several time to do my eyelashes. I came today and they make me wait for an hour and then told they do not have the time and did not wanted to do the service.
