So, the first time I ever tried eyebrow threading was when I lived in New Jersey. My best friend, Cindy, took me to her aunt's shop in Jersey City to get my "caterpillars", as she lovingly referred to them, threaded. Sadly, I didn't come out looking like those beauties you've seen in Bollywood movies but I was hooked! It truly is amazing what they can do with thread. It does sting a little but it lasts longer than waxing and the look is so much more sculpted. Well, I have been searching for a place since I moved to Cary, NC about a year ago and I finally found it!!!! So excited to have found Rupa's shop. Her and her daughter are super nice, they did a wonderful job on my eyebrows, and you can't beat the prices! I loved the fact that she used 100% all natural aloe to apply afterward to calm the redness. By the time I got home about 7 minutes later, the redness was gone. It takes hours and sometimes a whole day when I have had them waxed. They have a lot of other services and I can't wait to go back for the henna! read more

Only downside is that sometimes there is a long line of people waiting but this can usually be avoided by making an appointment, or coming at less busy times. Sometimes I get my entire face done including eyebrows and lip it's only 20. they do a great job and they are very very fast. I saw some reviews on here that said you have a long wait. I had a busy schedule and hence called to see if I could get an appointment for eyebrow threading. The lady who answered the call gave me an appointment for 6.10. I arrived at 6.08 but they did not honor my appointment . They told me the other people were waiting and started servicing the people who were waiting . So what do they really mean by an appointment ??? They made me wait 15 minutes after servicing people who were waiting even though the clients said it was ok to service me first. I don't think this place understands or values appointment times. I expected them to be honest when I called and not give me an appointment tine if they couldn't keep it. Stumbled upon this place on accident today. It's on Chapel Hill Road behind Neomonde Bakery. I was in the parking lot and saw the sign for eyebrow threading. The girl who did my brows was sooo thorough. Often when I get my eyebrows threaded there are always a few sparse ones they miss and I have to pluck after but not with this girl! Awesome job. Best threading job I've had and I'm not just saying that. The most unbelievable part of it all is that the eyebrow threading was only $5!!! Only $5! Wow. Rupa and her mom do a great job and are very patient with me since I have a sensitive skin and I stop the ma multiple times while threading my brows. I would recommend there facials too. It's all thanks to the ladies at Rupa's Spa and Threading. During my first couple of visits, they helped me reshape my eyebrows by telling me where to pluck (if I felt I needed to) and where to let the hair grow. I trusted their advice and am so thankful for their help. Now, I love my eyebrows and get complaints on them all the time. This place is amazing! I have been to several threading places in the area and wasn't happy. A friend of mine recommended Rupa's and I am so glad! I have really fine, light colored, eyebrow hair but there is a lot of it. Most places miss hairs and I end up plucking. Waxing is too harsh for my skin, so threading is my best option. Each time I have been to Rupa's my brows are perfect with my skin feeling smooth. They are so cheap, too! Everyone should go here! read more
