I visited today for threading with Sanya. A neighbor highly recommended her services. I called and was taken as soon as I arrived. Sanya discussed what I wanted in terms of the shape I desired. My eyebrows have been curly and problematic for years. I have been threading my eyebrows since I was 15. From waxing to lamination treatments, as you age, you have to remain consistent. I took a break from waxing and lamination treatments for the past 6 months, trying to achieve growth in sparse areas. Threading seems to be the most precise hair removal service for brows. Sanya was kind, gentle and checked in with me to make sure the shape was to my liking. We discussed goals and tinting for a thicker/ fuller look in thinning areas. I find this salon affordable and they are very nice women. Happy to have a new threading salon to call home.

Great customer service, friendly and clean! My brows are looking great! Thanks so much! Definitely recommend!

I look a mess, but here are my brows with the tint. I love getting the tint about every 2-4 weeks. Just depends.

I've been going here a little over a year and I always love the service. Their prices are great and they even have a membership card you can use to get a free brow service after 10 visits. I really like the membership because I don't have to pay cash. Thank you!

I texted the number suggested to make an appointment and was able to get one for same day. It was the fastest appointment I have ever been to for brows. Was in and out in 7 min total. They missed a couple spots. But they definitely did not take out too much hair as I requested only the extra and my same shape. Will be coming back!! Thank you!

A visit in July 2016.

I am extremely picky about eyebrow threading shops, having had a handful of bad experiences. Since I cannot frequent my favorite eyebrow shop in Northern Virginia, I have been on a quest to find "a home". Before stumbling on "Define Brows", I visited 3 other shops, which I probably shouldn't name. One place plucked too many hairs, causing a hole in my eye brow (my brows are really tricky) and blamed it on me saying it was already like that (lol) and other places caused me to bleed and/or breakout due to the spray they would apply afterward. Needless to say, I'm so glad I found "Define Brows". Relieved, actually. The uneasiness I get before experimenting with a new place, scares me. But here, I am always in and out within 15 minutes, parking is easy, staff is friendly and most of all, they are very good at their craft. They are detailed, confident and precise. Tip: Always cushion a few hours between "browing" and any special event in case you break out or get red spots. Ya don't want to look like a pizza face going into a special occasion! It's ok to decline their lotion or spray, just speak up and feel free to bring your own soother. Sometimes they insist but when I tell them it irritates my skin, they back off. Attached is my before and after pic. Magic, right? Highly recommend to all who have bushy brows, like me!

Awkward photo - but here's my threaded brow! Haha

I've been here a few times before as it was convenient on my way home for work. They accept walk-ins (which is awesome) and any time I have stopped by, they took me almost right away. I did have a not so great experience here one time when one of the ladies doing the threading took way too much off of my eyebrow. She was not the employee I had do my brows the previous times. I was devastated as I would now have to grow out my brow and I did not plan to come back. (I think it was because they were a bit busy and she was bouncing back and forth amongst customers. She definitely seemed like she was rushing.) I did not see this employee during my recent visit. Since I really needed my brows done and wanted to be fair, I decided to stop by and give them another try. I went in after work and was greeted immediately. I told the employee that I wanted my brows threaded and she took me right away. She pulled all new thread and started working on my brows. She showed me my brows in the mirror to make sure I was satisfied and they looked SO good. She also got all of the hairs above and beside my brows that a lot of threaders leave or try to charge extra to remove. I was so glad she did that. I also did not have as much irritation as I usually do after threading because she wasn't as harsh with the movements. The shop itself is very simple, modern, and clean. It's in a great location right in Brier Creek. Also, when I checked in on Yelp, I noticed that there was 50% off eyebrow threading and the employee told me I could use it. How awesome!! Their prices are already reasonable so this was a cool surprise. I'm glad I gave this salon another try and will likely stop back after work when my eyebrows need threading.

I discovered this place about a month ok! 1st time threading my brows and I love it! Staff are amazing!!

I have never seen a dermatologist before so I was a little nervous but she was clear, concise, and I left my appointment feeling great! Clara Dermatology was founded in 2020 by Dr. Rebecca Bialas and Dr. Joanna Hooten who are both board-certified dermatologists. Their office is clean, minimalistic, and modern with a variety of their top recommended products on display for purchase including Supergoop! sunscreens, sheet masks, and other trusted skincare products. It's a beautiful space! They're located in a building with a large parking lot, just behind the All Starz Academy, near the Parkside Town Commons shopping center off O'Kelly Chapel Road. They specialize in treatments of the face, body, nails and hair. Can't make it to the office for a visit? No worries, make an appointment for a virtual consultation. Additionally, they offer treatments including chemical peels, Kybella, vitamin injections, microneedling, laser hair reduction, and many more. They even offer ear piercing! Pricing is all very clearly listed on their website, too. Clara Dermatology visits and services can be paid for with an HSA/FSA card, cash, check, or credit card. However, they do not work with or bill any insurance plans. That being said, they can provide a coded receipt which you can submit to your insurance plan for out-of-pocket reimbursement. Note that Medicare and other government insurance programs will not reimburse for these services. Pro tip: you can pay for sunscreens with your HSA card! I wish I knew this sooner, but I walked away with a new Supergoop! Play (SPF 50 and reef safe!) for my upcoming beach vacations this summer. Highly recommend them!

I had been receiving Botox from this location in Cary for about 1.6 years. I was a steady customer. I spent a great deal of money. I became hospitalized for 4 months as a client over 65. During the last year, I had to cancel several days before on just 3 occasions, and on one occasion, the day before, rushed by ambulance to WakeMed. EVERY time I called as a professional courtesy, the most recent, one of the untrained young girls literally said to me, "hold and I'll see if we can cancel you!" I replied "excuse me? What does that even MEAN? I'm in the ER! Should I contact my attorney?" I was punctual as always to my last appointment. As I went to make my next appointment, happily saying "I thought I was over the critical time where I could die".. INSTEAD of CONCERN, empathy or acknowledgment, either the first untrained employee or another untrained employee NOT ONLY demanded $50 upfront "in case I cancelled my next appointment"!, but NONE of the staff employees offered ZERO concern or acknowledgment!!! I was flabbergasted! As a Duke University Chemistry professor and neurologist on sabbatical, I asked "are you familiar with the American with Disabilities laws? Are you familiar with the empirical fact that I've NEVER been a 'no show"?.. that even in the ER I was professional enough to call?" I stated "I won't be back." In addition, my pattern as an established client is once a month with a $140 budget. On EVERY OCCASION Stacie would make me EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE and would purposely attempt to elicit more money by stating- with a very over concerned coercion, "You know.. because you get such low amounts that this won't hold unless you purchase X amount of units!" As I have been receiving Botox for a staggering 35 YEARS, I was aware of this fact and had to repeat again, and again and again, "I'm so sorry to disappoint you-as I'm disabled until I heal, this is the most I can do every month!" This is the ONE thing I do for myself. It should be a day/event of peace and joy. Instead, I left each session sad, embarrassed and purposefully insulted and demeaned. In addition, Stacie informed me "she couldn't inject me anymore as she was now only going to work on 'top-tier' customers!!" I wouldn't send my enemy to this place! It's hilarious to see uneducated, unattractive front reception employees try to pose as authoritarian figures to an MD, who was temporarily quite disabled in recovery.

This was such terrible customer service! As much as we spend for these services, and due to the extenuating circumstances, I would think you could make an exception for one minute. If I am going to get these services I want to go somewhere that shows care and concern for their customers. I will not be going back and do not recommend it at all.
