I don't think I've had a pedicure in 20 years, but I thought I'd just kick back and let somebody else take care of me. The experience was fine. I called ahead but didn't need to make a reservation and showed up about 2 hours later, and the lady who quickly helped me was pleasant and seemed very efficient. The place was quite busy, which is always a good sign. I'm probably a little biased because it's a stones throw from where I live. I can't say anything about their other services other than my pedicure, which was just what the doctor ordered! I'm very disappointed as a formal regular client at the salon. I came in with the request that they advise me they could re-create. I was there for 4+ hours just to walk away unsatisfied I spoke with the lady that did my nails and told her due to time I would have to come back first thing in the morning to fix the mess that they done on my fingers just for me to come back the next day and spend another three hours and have them charge me all over again. I walked away paying $200 for nails I was never satisfied with and there was no accommodation offered. I only got my nails done for a photo shoot and I was very unhappy with my results. I have tried so many nail salons in the brier creek area. When I found this one a few years ago, I thought it was great. Then I started having hit or miss quality on both gel manicure and standard pedicures. The final straw for me was a few months ago, I had someone that seemed like they had no idea what they're doing. Did a terrible job, my gel manicure was ruined the next day. He cut way too much cuticle for both. Did not do the callus treatment even though that is the selection of pedicure I made. I found somewhere else to go but ended up back here when my new place wasn't open the day I needed them done. Ended up with the same person and same experience. Here for my 3rd visit so it's finally time for a review. It's a typical nail salon with services for manicures and pedicures. These days most places, including this one, offer beverages which is a nice touch. The difference here is they also offer facials and massages though I've yet to try either. I had one gel manicure here which didn't last very long. I'm not sure if it was the color or the technician but I'll have to try again to see. They've been pretty consistent, in a good way, with the pedicures and even offer varying types depending on your budget. I'll, at least, be back for another pedicure. read more

I've been going here for a year and it's always hit or miss and ive been really unhappy these past few times, but the icing on the cake was the sore spot on the side of my nail and the pocket of puss accompanying it. I get an acrylic fill in every 2-3 weeks and the last time i went i had the older man and he used the electric file on my nails that had not been cleaned and a used bit on it and had a used emmery board in my nail and now i have an infection in my nail bed. the prices are not consistent, it's unsanitary, the same man used the electric file on my natural nail bed and burned me. I asked her to wash her hands and she literally threw her hands under the water for 3 seconds and dried them off. Another worker moved from working on someone else's hands to finish my nails without washing her hands either. The customers are not asked to washed hands. I wasn't asked. I went here a few months ago for a pedicure. It was just okay, but what really bothered me was how low quality the polishes turned out to be. Anywhere I have ever been- polish on your toes lasts at least 2 weeks before chipping. I even chose from the recommended polishes with samples. But this polish only lasted a week on my toes? It's almost like they put remover in the polish to thin it out and get more uses out of it. It just wasn't worth my money at all. The pedicure experience was also rushed and not very relaxing. I went to get a mani/pedi at this salon. I won't be going back. The pedi was OK- my toes still look fine 5 days later, but my mani was a mess before I even left the salon. I also stayed under the fan/ ultraviolet light area for more than 30 minutes to dry them as much as possible before leaving. If I could give 0 stars, I honestly would. By far, the worst nail salon I've been to in the area. My friend and I decided to go last Saturday morning, first thing before it got busy. There was only 1 lady that decided to show up to work on time. She kept "calling the other workers" and saying they were on the way but it took 30 mins before the next worker showed up and then 45 mins before another one showed up. Very unprofessional. Especially, the Saturday right before Christmas, DID YOU NOT EXPECT TO BE BUSY?!!! Then, the icing on the cake, I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish... my nails are all different lengths and my left hand and right hands don't match in length AT ALL! Now, less than a week later, one popped off in my sleep. I'm not even hard on them and normally acrylics can last me 2-3 weeks so this is ridiculous. The first 5 minutes of being serviced, the nail technician cut my finger with the drill. The acrylic was thinly applied and as a result, my nail broke 5 days later. The gel polish began to chip as well. I returned to address the issue and again, I was met with no greeting, just blank stares. Having to ask for service, yet, again, I informed them of the issue and was told to come back tomorrow as they were busy with two other appointments. Two days later, I went back to get the nail fixed and was met with the same rude demeanor. I made the manager aware of my discontent and he apologized. I am a regular at this place not by choice but because this is so close to where I live and they accept walk-ins. This place has the most erratic customer service. Their treatment of customers is so different. For instance, during one of my visits they were very polite and asked me if I wanted to drink something while on my other visits they have only wanted to get done with the work and carry on. During one such visits last month, I was pretty pissed off because of the hidden cost/pricing. When I told the guy who was doing my pedi-mani that I wanted a small design, he said it would cost a certain amount whereas they charged me $10 over what he quoted. When I questioned the front desk person, he told that the person quoted the wrong price and adding a tiny spec of glitter to my gel mani would cost me extra $10 whereas in the past I have paid only $5 for it. Now, the money is not an issue here but the way they treat people is. I would like to be told up front about the right price for the service I avail. As far their work goes, some of them are very sincere and I have had good experience twice when I got gel nails done both the times. This one time when I got a regular mani done, my nail polish smudged within a few hours. The main issue is they don't have many options when it comes to nail designs and some of the employees chat way too much among themselves while attending to you. I have always been two minded about visiting this place again and have reserved it only for the times when I am running short on time. read more

The first person we spoke with said they could get us in and then the second person told us it was too late and they couldn't take us. They weren't friendly, apologetic, or anything. Just a big fat "NOPE" even though we were there more than half an hour before closing time. ***Pro tip: if you don't want people showing up after 7pm, maybe you should change your hours.*** Previously, I gave them 4 starts, but last night knocked them down a rung.... Main benefit: If you can be here any other time than a Friday afternoon, you can pretty much walk in with no appointment and know you're going to get a nice mani/pedi. Sure, it might be a smidge expensive, but the facility is very nice and the customer service is on point. I work in the Brier Creek area and this is my go-to spot. I've only had one not-so-great gel manicure there, but it's been great other than that. Oh! There also more than happy to fix your nail situation if you mess up only one... hassle-free and money-free, they hooked me up when one of my gel polishes peeled off. So then why am I not giving it 5 stars? There's one other place in the triangle I'd prefer, but it's literally got a bar built into the salon and nobody can compete with that or their fur-lined seats. read more

I called and returned on day 3. I just was treated so poorly and unprofessionally by the OWNER. I was made to wait hours only to be given an attitude about correcting their mistake.
