When you arrive you will be greeted with care. You enter a tranquil space and it almost feels like you're stepping into a whole new world. When you are escorted back to your space for your foot massage you will be in for a treat. There will be a wonderful seated La-Z-Boy and a warm blanket ready for you. The massage room is dim and relaxing and it feels like you've left all your cares at the front door and you are in a whole new reality. I especially enjoyed the caring treatment that the massage therapist had for me and my experience on that day. The environment is clean, cozy, but a little cool. I did enjoy mentioning to my good friend how I was feeling a little chilly and I believe it might've been the owner who walked a heated blanket over to me and asked while I was getting my pedicure if I needed a blanket that was the icing on the cake and why I feel if you need a pick me up you should definitely step into this amazing space. I will always make sure I check into relax foot spa when I am in Raleigh. I would have liked the nail technician to have asked if the water was OK and I felt that the cold water shifted my experience following the massage a bit however, the blanket and the additional heated water added it to my pedicure experience made it better. read more

My husband and I had a lovely Valentines Day date here. We got the detox and reflexology package. We were escorted to a nice private room with relaxing music and ambient light. We each had an attendant massage our arms and legs and feet, while we sat in very comfortable recliners. The attendants also used hot stones, which felt very nice. For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I received a gift certificate here and came with my husband midday on Saturday. They recommend appointments due to short staffing so make sure you call or text for one! We had appointments for 12:30 and were seated right away. All of the employees were very friendly and accommodating. We chose to do signature pedicures and were finished in 20 minutes..fastest pedi I've ever had. We were then brought to the back for our 30 minutes of reflexology..by far always the best part. Dark room with big comfy chairs. People kept walking in and out of our area and it wasn't spa level quiet like the signs they have everywhere. Overall it was ok for me, seems like they're still rolling out some kinks for a smoother flow. My pedicure was fast today but that may not be the norm for them. This is only foot massage. I was hoping for a full body massage but it's not available. The "therapist" worked my tired feet like an Angel. She even gave my thighs arms and shoulders a bit of a massage. I would recommend for someone who has been on their feet and is looking for a bit of mind numbing pain relief. I have been carrying around the weight of the world on my shoulders, neck and feet. I heard about the high praises at this foot spa, and made a last minute appointment for this Easter weekend. I was happy to hear back from the business via text offering to accommodate me. Lauren was kind and professional. I decided on the Girly Spa Ultimate Deluxe service. My service started with an ionic detox in a private room with a reclining chair. The detox therapy uses negative ions to cleanse the body of toxins. The ions attach themselves to the toxins and then are flushed out through the feet, which are immersed in a saltwater bath. You are hooked up to the machine and place your feet in a bucket to soak. The bucket was uncomfortable to me. Not so relaxing. There are several quiet signs surrounding the spa, yet the customers continued to have private conversations that I could overhear. I would advise you to bring headphones, if you want to nap or be at peace. The spa is small, so conversations do carry from the foot spa stations and reception desk. The rooms are kept very cold, I would advise you to bring a snuggy or fleece blanket. This made it hard to relax. My feet were dried and wrapped for the keratin skin treatment. I didn't notice any difference in my feet after this service. The massage was the best part of the service. Besy gave a thorough massage with a decent amount of pressure for 60 minutes. This involves shoulders, arms, neck, hands and feet. The hot stone to finish was great because it warmed me up. I feel light as a feather now. The service ended with a spa pedicure. I decided on the peppermint essential oil for my water. The invigorating sugar scrub felt heavenly. Your services are done by separate staff, so keep that in mind. Someone does the pedicure, another person paints your toes. The paint job was thorough and I was happy about that. I was very pleased with the staff here. Everyone was welcoming and kind. No other nail salon has compared to this spa. Our experience here was incredible and the spa is very beautiful and professional. My nails look amazing even two weeks later with regular polish, the employees are skilled and actually seem to enjoy their job, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. I made an appointment several weeks in advance via their website. Note, if you are making an appointment for several people for the same date and time, you only need to book once. As you are booking for one there is a comment box where you can list how many people are attending the appointment. This worked even for scheduling two different pedicures. Our appointment was at 3 pm. We were running late so I called to let them know. The lady who answered the phone was very understanding and said it was fine for us to arrive 10-15 min late. When we arrived, we sat on the comfortable couches for a few minutes and I picked out a polish. Soon we were taken to a private room with two recliners. This room was incredibly relaxing. The recliner were comfortable and the area was quiet. Two employees came in to give our foot massages (reflexology). They offered to do our hands as well, but we chose just our feet. I enjoyed this part, however, it was rather intense. After this part we were brought to the pedicure area. Wear flip flops or some will be provided. They collect the flip flops and toe dividers afterwards. I'm assuming to clean and reuse them. In the pedicure section we sat in powerful massage chairs. Our feet were first soaked in warm water with a scent of our choosing, we picked lavender. The pedicure itself was great. My feet were smooth and beautiful when finished. The two ladies providing our pedicure were experienced and seemed like they really enjoyed their job. They were talking and joking with one another and us, which we loved. They also took the time to ask and confirm our preferences. Afterwards, if you chose a polish you move to a different section to dry your nails in a small nail dryer. It is pricier than other spas, at $60 for a spa and men's pedicure each, but worth it for the massage and quality of service. I have been going to RFS since 2017. The service is ALWAYS professional and staff are so pleasant and put you at ease. My pedicure polish lasts a full month with no chipping! Its is a very peaceful environment. We both got the Spa Pedicure which included the pedicure, scrubs, soaking and reflexology massage of our feet/below the knee areas. Everything was amazing except when I opted to have shimmery polish put on my toe nails. Working from home and no one but Carol ever seeing my feet we both chuckled and said, "why not." The only thing I would change about the experience is for the staff to not laugh and make a guy feel uncomfortable for asking for polish. They don't do gel which I found annoying bc gel is so much better and last so much longer without chipping, especially on the feet. They also charge six dollars to take gel off. We had Louis and May as our therapists, they were amazing. We did the ultimate reflexology, it's only 80 bucks and was over an hour of arm/hands, shoulders and neck while soaking feet and then I don't know what to say about the foot part, that took all the aches of work boot damage away and was so relaxing... Pros: quiet/relaxing atmosphere, cleanliness, great service, pedicure areas are separated from all other areas, options for feet soak and tea are numerous Cons: parking can be difficult on busy days and I wasnt too fond of being passed off for each Larry of my service ( one person did the pedicure, another dis the massage and another did the polish). Wow this place was very unexpected!! Came here for a signature relax pedicure which was incredible. They start with cleaning your feet and then shaping and doing your toe nails like a normal pedicure. But then the staff use this scrub and brush all over your feet and legs. After they are done pampering your feet you are taken to another relaxation room for a hand and foot massage. It was so damn relaxing I fell asleep!!! Afterwards I was taken back to the pedicure chairs to get my polish and given a foot dryer to dry my nails.
