Very shady practices. They took advantage of me after my being a long time customer. I've never been charged so much here for the same services or even better. I have never been treated like this in this salon before. And never will be again. This nail salon has no price list in sight. I asked the price and I got no solid answer. I had my natural short nails buffed and cuticles trimmed, adjust lengths. My nails are short & natural. I had them remove the gel polish for my pedicure, very basic just soak, buff feet and the polish. I waited more than an hour before having my face and half leg wax. The lady who waxes kept taking customers while I waited and waited and waited. They had said it would be 10 minutes before and so by now they have lied by omission, and overtly lied about the time. I waited no less than an hour with nowhere comfortable to sit. They had the nerve to charge me 178.00! Plus I gave them tip!!! Had I had access to a price list I might have made different decisions. I just called and was told the face and half leg wax was $95 ??? Never ever have they charged me more than $40 for this 15-20 minute service. My bad...I let them take advantage of me with a smile on my face and tip in my hand. I thought on my way home maybe they needed the money really badly? Has anyone else had this experience there? If I could give negative 5 points, I would. I waited over an hour while my friends got their nails done and was not acknowledged once. I signed in 2nd in my party of 3 on the iPad. Nail techs were talking to each other and on their phones while I waited. Slowly they got everyone from the waiting room including my friends and not me An hour and a half later, when I brought it to his attention they had nothing to say except that there was not techs to do that. I have wasted my time but thankfully not my money. 2 hours later they just told me they can help me. I declined since my two friends are now ready to go with their nails done. The owner lacks transparency and rushed back and forth with my nails and a customer near me. She struggled to tell me how she calculated her price and I come here for pedicures regularly. This used to be an okay place to go. Tina was great. The girls were always so nice. Now they have new ownership and it is the most inhospitable place. I showed up for my appointment with Tina and one of the girls told me they tried to call me to tell me Tina wouldn't be in today. When I asked if they let a message, they said no, they couldn't leave one. I thought that was strange and then found out they were calling a number that did not belong to me. When I asked when Tina would be back, they said, "She's not ever coming back." When I asked if there was a phone number I could call to reach her, the girl asked, "Don't you have her number?" No one offered to do my nails. No one offered to set up an appointment with someone else and No one gave a ratzass about me. So I'm taking my business elsewhere. The nail business is competitive. You would think beside the fact that they've rasied their prices to exhoribitantly high rates, they would be loyal to customers who have given them repeat business. Do not get your nails done here. I got white chrome nails yesterday for $80 and two fell off this morning. The guy that did my nails did such a bad job gluing the nails on and the chrome looked terrible. The price is ridiculous for the poor quality. While I've had many different technicians during each visit, they have all been fantastic. I chipped a nail once and came back two days later and they fixed it without asking for payment. Let me start off by saying, my first impression should have been my last. The owner who happens to be a lady is very loud and at times can be unprofessional. Before the incident happen, I had been a loyal customer of theirs. One day I was running late due to bad weather and the owner called me to see if I had forgotten about my appointment. I told her NO, I was running late because of the rain. She said, Okay and that was it. Maybe 10 mins or so later she called me again, I told her the same thing. She begins to say, the nail tech that I had the appointment with will need to take another customer since I'm not there. My response was " There has been a time when I was on time and I had to wait before I can be serviced". She didn't like my response but continued to explain why the nail tech needed to take another customer. Before I could finish what I was trying to say, the owner hung up the phone on me..... So, when I arrived I asked her "Why did she hang up on me", and yes, my voice was loud because I was pissed. She couldn't even answer me because she was too busy trying to get me to lower my voice. I told her as an owner that was very unprofessional of her. I even said to her that I would be writing a review. She had the nerve to say to me "Go ahead and I will delete" LOL! During my visits, the salon was much better with making sure to sanitize after each client, but that stopped happening maybe a month later. The nail techs should be washing their hands after each client which they don't do. If you are considering this nail salon, before going please make sure to read all reviews from all platforms. If I'm spending my money, I deserve to receive the BEST customer service treatment and so do you. read more

They don't even deserve a one star. The salon had my boyfriend who wanted to try a manicure waiting for more than 40 minutes when I called in for an appointment the morning of. Other individuals that came in after us were seated immediately! They seemed extremely confused on what services we wanted. The lady that did my hand cut all of my fingers and then proceeded to just continue what she was doing. Certain fingers are currently throbbing so I put some antibiotics on it. I normally don't leave reviews and have gotten my nails done at multiple places before in Cary and Charlotte. I thought this salon deserved one because only one finger was not bleeding at the end of my manicure w a dip powder. Super racist. The lady in the front and few others are amazingly selective in being nice when it comes to their customers. This was my 3rd incident. I really like the artist Charlie there, hence thought it's ok. Describing todays instance: I called in asked if they can do dip and pedicure and they said yes, when I requested for service at the same time, another lady (the front desk worker) comes on and said no it's Saturday, 'we, very busy'. I confirmed ok and went in, only to be directed to the chair in front of the bathroom when the whole place is empty barring 2 customers 'not the same color as me' :). Another lady comes starts the water which is stone cold, so I don't dip my feet, and so now a 3rd lady comes and says why you don't dip and I let he know it's stone cold. It goes south from there, she is sneering, laughing and making fun of me and asking repeat (like she cannot hear) and without a seconds gap in her question says is it ok? Is it ok? And I speak firmly that the temperature cannot change in 5 Seconds. Now the lady in front comes and asks me to shut up and get out!! I stand my ground and call out her racist BS! She is now threatening to call the police and I was like yes, please!!! Oh man! No one turned up. I finally left!! But this was one one the most bizarre experiences, especially in such a diverse neighborhood!! Hope this business goes through some big adjustments! I've been getting my nails done here for a few months. The nail technicians are great, but the owner today was unprofessional & rude. I've never experienced anything like this before. I went in for a nail repair (they put gel over powder). She literally questioned me on when I got my nails done and where. I was in your shop on 10/4 to be exact. Who did them, she asked? I was literally interrogated in a nail salon. Not sure why this was necessary but something so small became so big. From my wife: nails came out fine, but I did get cut from the nail file and bled at my cuticles, which is so rare these days. Diamond Nails and Spa, Cary is the worst nail parlor I have ever been to. This was my first-time experience getting my nails done in N.C. I gave a careful thought before deciding on with this nail salon. My experience was such, that I wish I could give them ZERO stars. I went to the salon to get my nail filling and repairing done. I already had gel nail extensions and Nail Art on my nails. They suggested that I remove the current extensions and get a new one done, to which I agreed and told them that I need the exact same nail art which I currently have, and they promised they will be able to do it. The guy who did my nails had A MAJOR COMMUNICATION PROBLEM. He was UNWELCOMING and sort of a maniac who takes pleasure in someone's pain. He removed my nails ruthlessly and kept digging into my nails with his own nails. The procedure was extremely painful and uncalled for. When I complained about the pain, the guy started laughing. Before commencing the procedure, they didn't bother to clean the station or put a nice clean towel underneath my hands (like they did for others). I could feel the dust from a previous nail procedure on the table. The guy doing my nails couldn't match the design or the basic nail color. He did keep asking me if the nails looked ok, however, he didn't take my response positively and randomly got up in between the session and said he won't be doing my nails, I can get them done from someone else. Why take up a task when you're not competent enough to complete it. In between the session too the guy was making fun of nail art design I had asked him to do and commented "what a stupid design". After he got up, the other lady came to his rescue and almost started talking loudly in her language about my nail art design. One must accept their own failures and incompetency in the first place itself instead of accepting the challenge to undertake a task and then run away from it. The lady managed to complete my nails; however, I still see that she was not able to complete it neatly. There are nail paint gaps that I can see on my nails. The topcoat has not been applied properly and has streaks. The length of the nails is not equal on both hands. My previously done nails were FAR BETTER and NEATER than what they did. I would not recommend anyone to visit this salon, not even for removal. read more
