It seemed like the nail tech got upset due to the lack of communication, but I felt very uncomfortable. And dismissed because I had mentioned this several times and the lack of communication made the layers way too much. They ended up putting the layers that I needed to make the right shade. However, because there were so many layers, the nail polish ended up not being dry.Even like fifteen minutes after leaving. My toes because of this were essentially chipped, and the nail polish was stripped as I walked. This was very frustrating because it could have been avoided. Because of the issue with the nail polish, it ended up taking much much longer than expected. And that also cut into my work.And I had to reschedule a client because of it. I know people make mistakes.However, I wish that I was heard at the first time. That would have saved my nails being done incorrectly. That would have saved my extra time it took.

Tammi took the time to cut my toes carefully as I am very sensitive and made sure I was okay along the way. She also removed my dip polish done at another salon gently and put strengthener polish on my nails to give them a rest. I was impressed with her attention to detail. My friend said her manicure and pedicure was done well. We got the second tier pedicure and they took extra time to massage our feet and legs. They used new utensils with the service and had the plastic wrap in the pedicure basin which I always like to see for sanitary reasons. The salon itself and super clean and relaxing. They kept getting a lot of walk ins come in and instead of rushing through their clients they told folks they didn't have any more availability for the day and to come back Tuesday when they would reopen. This was impressive to see as they took the time with the clients already there. The cost was not too bad for the Cary area. I will definitely be back!

The first technician who started my pedicure cut my big toenail unevenly. When I pointed it out, he said he would "file it down" to fix it, but filing it only made the nail crooked. Already frustrated, I asked for someone else. June stepped in... while she was kind and gave a great foot massage, she also did not correct the issue. After realizing neither technician could fix the mistake, I ended up filing it myself. Then came the manicure. An older lady, who was the only person not wearing a mask, began doing my nails. I immediately noticed smudges and polish all over my skin. When I pointed it out, she grabbed the acetone and (supposedly accidentally) squirted it in my face. This was honestly the part that upset me the most. While she shaped my nails pretty decent, the polish application was sloppy, and she even scratched my skin. She tried to file my other hand, but I declined because I was already marked up from the first. After all of this, no one offered a genuine apology -- and they still had the nerve to ask for a tip.
