Live nearby so convenient location, always does a decent job no matter which tech does it. My only issue is the price, the quick pedicure is $45 and the next one up is $70, thats quite a jump. It opted for the deluxe ($70) but it was for 35mins and felt a bit pricy for the time they spent on me. Im going to drive a bit further to go elsewhere. read more

Yes I can get in and out. The location is prime. The value on return is pricey. When my daughter and I first started visiting Sassy, we enjoyed the ability to always get in and not wait too long. Now, the service just feels rushed. The store doesn't turn on tv's, the water fall is unplugged, the overall feel is dusty. I can rely on them getting me in with out an appointment (average wait is 20 min) and a great nail outcome. When i choose a gel manicure, I know I am going to hear the complaints from the nail technician about how it wont last. I feel more like they prefer the up charge because the charge machine bases tips on your base price. read more

Made an appointment on their website a day in advance and needed to wait for a confirmation. Arrived at the appointment time and was immediately sat down without even a "hello, how are you" and my hand was pulled into a bowl of water. I didn't even have a few minutes time to pick out a color I wanted and was rushed to choose one. All I was asked was if I wanted my nails to be cut down or shaped. Before I knew it, a clear coat was being put on top of the gel polish! With not even enough time for my nails to sit and cure under the UV nail lamp. There are bubbles in the polish and areas where the polish is thicker due to the rush.... There were employees and other nail techs standing around on their phones, it was not busy so I'm not sure why the nail tech was is such a rush. Appointment lasted not even 12 minutes before I was rushed to check out and pay. Save your time and money, find another salon where they care about their client satisfaction and proper quality for what you pay for. read more

Remember the days when you get hand massage for as simple as basic manicure., well gone are those days. They now charge up the a$$ for nothing. People here are dishonest and out to rip people off. Went there for gel manicure but i want my cuticles clean. The lady at the front said i should try Dip ( i had dips before) and i liked it since the dremel already has carbide bits that would take care of the cuticle. So i went ahead and agree for the dip. I chose a neutral color, she was doing fine until i noticed one nail has a line in the middle after applying the top coat. This was because she was rushing when applying the base missing the middle and this woman has the audacity to say that it's my nail that has a line! I was flabbergasted, i couldn't believe what i was hearing but i kept my cool and let go of the situation. After applying the top coat, told me to wait 5 minutes to dry, got up and left. That was it for a "very pleasant" experience. Got my bill and saw an extra charge of $7 for removing the cuticle on top of $48, seriously? I was expecting it with the gel manicure not with a Dip. So yea, i paid and didn't leave a tip. That's what you get for ripping people off and being rude to customers who pays for your living. Not coming back. Just ordered my SNS Dip Nail Kit and will be doing my own nails from now on for a fraction of its cost. I couldn't believe how they can justify charging $48 for a dip manicure when it's dirt cheap buying the whole kit. I bet they will happily tack on another $8 for a simple hand massage if I asked for it. Dipping is not hard, they just make it look hard. Look at my photos. read more

Overall they do a great job. Nice people. Nails look great. Not the cheapest or nicest spa we've ever been to. But it doesn't deserve some of the negative reviews I saw on here. This is a go-to place for me and my daughter to get our nails done. I recommend. read more

Felt overpriced. Went here with my mom on my birthday. Was told they offer 20% for customers on their birthday but since it was my first visit I would have to wait until next year. What?!? They tried their best to upcharge us but we went with the basic gel mani pedi. For what we paid I would have expected to have had a back massage also. I came in for a regular manicure. I sat down and said hello to the nail technician and she did not respond to me....not even a smile. The only words spoken to me were "do you want me to cut?" The manicure was over in 16 minutes. The polish chipped the next day. What a waste of my time and money. Will not be returning. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not go to this salon. They add hidden charges to every appointment and if teens go in, they take advantage and add more charges. It used to be the best salon but over the last year + it has really taken a dive. The manicures are no longer even as good as they used to be. read more

I've been here once before a few years ago and decided to come back again for a self care day with my grandfather and younger sister. I was excited because the first time I went, I had a great time. The staff was friendly, talkative, and very funny! They did and amazing job with my gel manicure and I was very pleased. However, this most recent time I went (12/28/2021), I had come again for a gel manicure and my artist was not the most friendly, I kept my mind open and she then began to get on her phone while working on my manicure. Not even while my nails were drying or curing, but while we were still in the clipping and filing process. To me, it feels like they are more concerned about getting their clients in and out as quickly as possible (even on a slow day) rather than creating connections with their clients in order to have returning ones. I came to sassy nails and spa Saturday evening. I told the lady that was doing my nails that I wanted to just get a fill. She insisted that I get a full new set of acrylic nails. I budged. As she was doing my nails, she cut my hand four separate times with her tools and instead of cleaning the cuts, she proceeded to put nail glue on them to disguise them from me. I kept telling her that my hand was hurting, and that I needed to wash my hands from all the blood and she wouldn't let me get up to do so. She added diamonds to my nails, and the diamonds fell off an hour after they were placed. I came back in the next day to get the diamonds replaced on my fingers and they were extremely rude, and the lady said, " I couldn't recognize you because of how ugly you were on Saturday when you came in " keep in mind, the day I got them fixed, I was wearing make up and on Saturday evening I wasn't. It was very offensive and rude and offputting. I will never go back there again with the level of treatment that they gave me an inconsideration. I don't recommend going to the nail salon. You'll end up getting all cut up and bleeding on your way out. read more

Great mani pedi but all the customers were having problems at check out being over charged. Most spoke up and it was slowly corrected while embarrassing the customers. The workers were saying " you don't want to pay" and they were simply explaining the billing error. Go anywhere else. read more

I always come here to get my nails done when I come home, I love their color and glitter options. I saw Tracey and asked for some snowflake nail art and she went beyond my expectations and did such a wonderful job I came back to see her again before I left NC. I have gone to Sassy a few times and the service has been mostly very good. The techs are friendly and professional and I have always been happy with the end result. Last time I was there, though, despite the fact that I had an appointment, they made me wait and then the techs helping me kept leaving to go help other people. I was told "sorry, they made appointments", which makes me think they mistakenly thought I was a walk-in. After the second one left, I had to wait for almost 20 minutes with half a gel manicure removed until finally the third person came to finish the job. It was a pretty upsetting experience, but they apologized and offered a 10% discount. I believe it was just a bad day, though, so I will definitively give them another try. read more

Coming from out of town I took a risk coming here as I was not familiar with the shop. The staff were very friendly and I did not have to wait long to do my pedicure. I honestly did not mind this place at all... until I got my bill. I got an acrylic fill-in with gel polish and a few designs on each hand. The designs came out okay. No where near as good as the place I go to near my college. The pricing is my main issue. Every place I have been to for designs (NO MATTER HOW MANY OR HOW COMPLICATED), was no more than $8 ever. When I received my bill it was $18 for the designs. They were not even that hard. I had a design 10x more complicated done for $5 (3 designs on 3 fingers on each hand). I was honestly so disappointed because I was told by many how great this place was. If it was more affordable, I would've enjoyed it. If the designs had come out like I wanted, I wouldn't care. The people are very friendly, but pricing needs to be lowered especially for easy line and snowflake designs. read more

I went to this nail spa about 3 or 4 times, the customer service is great and the employees are very nice! But my only problem is, the few times I got nail enhancements or gel acrylics etc, I have a bad experience. I get ingrown nails and my nails and cuticles look not the best. LAST UPDATE- NEVER GOING BACK (My first review from Aug/Sept is below) After giving this establishment a few more chances, I AM FINALLY DONE WITH THEM. I have never experienced such a lack of transparency in prices for a business in my life. As mentioned in my previous review, everytime I've visited this salon, there is some sort of random charge added to my service. It almost feels as if there is an effort to add extra charges to any service you get matter what. Their prices are not displayed, they are on their website. They do not verbally discuss additional charges before or while providing the service. Once you go up to pay you are met with surprise charges which they nonchalantly brush off. I have no issue with paying a fair price for a service and adding a 20 or more percent tip. (Which I always do), HOWEVER, this place is very sneaky and nontransparent with the prices. I've only really gone there for a fillings, but every time, there's been an extra charge either for the nails being too long, being reshaped, new shape, cut, ..... . The last straw for me today was being charged and extra $6 for the length of my nails when my nails are not long at all. As a matter of fact the last time I went a few weeks ago I got them cut shorter for which I was charged a cutting fee for. Again, if this was a consistent fee that was posted I will have no problem paying it but it seems like they just pick any additional charge to add to your service just to make extra money. If it is not the reshaping fee which is ridiculous, because my nails are always the same shape and I've been charged before for "reshaped". By the way I was told by the front desk girl to check the website today, and there is absolutely no mention of all these additional charges on their website.. I am just tired of them at this point. I'm never going back this is my final review. I don't recommend them and I will not recommend them to anyone in my community or anyone that I do business with.. 1ST REVIEW Aug/Sep 2022 The actual work is good. My nails do last long. However, the inconsistencies in pricing every time I go is getting really annoying. There seems to be random added charges every time I go. I don't mind paying for good service and tipping at least 20%(and I always do), but they need to be more transparent with their pricing upfront. Today I was charged for a reshaping fee even though my nails were the same shape as when I came in.They explained to me that it was because when they file it they have to file around the shape that I already have. I have been going to Sassy for awhile. I have always had a good experience. However, my last 2 appointments have been a big disappointment. I had a gel fill in and manicure. After just a few days, the gel polish started to chip. My gel manicures usually last a month. At my last appointment, I had my gel [acrylics] removed by filing the gel off. Most of my nails were very damaged to the point that most of them broke because of the damage to my nails. I spoke with the person who damaged my nails but only heard excuses from her. Bottom line for me, I have found a new nail salon and will not be going back to Sassy Nails. read more

Services are nice but they really need to revise their appointment system. They will allow you to request an open time online but then they need to "confirm" the appointment. I have never gotten a confirmation. Tried to have nails and toenails painted for my 5 year old today. Never confirmed appointment time, but we went in. Couldn't take her - which was fine. But the young lady at the counter was on the phone booking an appointment for someone later that afternoon. So they could see someone in 30 minutes, but requested I come back another day with my 5 year old? Why? Because they make more money off a dip manicure than a 5 year old is my guess. Makes no sense - but this has now happened 3 separate times. Just disable the online appointment request then. But I won't be back with my 5 year old. Happy to go someplace where they welcome doing a 15 minute service for a 5 year old, instead of making them cry. read more

Horrible every single time I come to this place. I posted a review on google with pictures of how they left my daughters nails. When we asked why they left the dirt under her nails before putting acrylics on (French tip) they said they "don't clean before putting nails on" that we would have to purchase a manicure AND a full set? Which is gross when acrylics are on for weeks. She's 13 and $60 + tip and you can't clean some dirt out from her nails? This was the final straw though. My nails were so bad every time I went I had to immediately go somewhere else to redo them. The person who did the nails basically harassed me the whole time while doing them. Worst paint jobs ever. I see so many good reviews from this place and I have been multiple times (yes I was an idiot) and kept going back but I loved how close it was to my house and easy to schedule. Seems as though they just try to get through as many people as possible. Because there is NO way they can look at these finished products and think yup, this is a good job. I did my best.
