Great experience. I had my nails done there and I'm late in putting up my review and pictures. I get an almond shape with hard gel. The shape was amazing and the person doing my nails was fast and paid attention to details. When I mentioned one of the nails was slightly different from the rest she was quick to correct. I've gone to other places and this is my favorite. I've over paid at other nails salons to not get the quality of work I get here. I had really high hopes after reading the reviews, but left pretty disappointed. I made an appointment for a pedicure for my husband and a dip manicure for myself at 11am. They didn't get started on us until 11:30, which is what it is, I understand they are busy, but we were there on our lunch breaks and only had an hour. I had picked out a pretty blue color for my nails, and the tech brought over a color that looked pretty light. I know sometimes with dip it can get darker after you do a few coats, so I trusted the tech that is was correct. Well, it was not. I got white nails and was told that "the color on the swatches is darker because it is on tips vs my natural nails" ??? It has never been a completely different color. They did not give me the opportunity to get the color I had asked for, and I told them three times I wanted blue- not white. But he told me that was the color I picked. Overall, it took me an hour and a half for my service as I guess they were short staffed. The staff who was there were criticizing walk-in's too, saying that people need to make appointments if they were in a rush (which we did, and still had to wait 30 minutes). At the end, they asked me if I liked the color, which I told them no- it was not the color I had asked for (after saying multiple times I had picked a blue color) but I didn't have time for them to change it. No apologies or anything for the major discrepancy. They also missed putting color on the edge of my nail, so it is bare where they cut and filed it down. At the end of the day, it isn't a huge deal. But if I am paying $60+ for my nails, I want the color that I picked out, and don't want to be misled that all the color swatches are wrong- I doubt anyone else has had that experience. Two stars because my husband said his pedicure was great, but I would steer clear from this place for your nails, or at least ensure the color you pick is correct! read more

I called and booked two mani appointments the day before and when we arrived we were greeted promptly and pleasantly. Both of our technicians took great care on trimming our nails, cuticles and getting them ready for the polish. Then they also took great care polishing and making our nails look fabulous. The salon is peaceful, clean and well lighted. The selection of colors is immense. The technicians were kind and cheerful and we exchanged pleasantries. All in all a 5 star experience. Still love this place and they've recently updates the decor. It's best to call ahead because they're a small business and very busy. Kelsey is still my favorite. I had a pedicure with Anna and it was standard basic procedure. I felt relaxed but it's not something I splurge on often so I don't have a great basis for comparison. Covid procedures still in place are the techs have a partition and wear masks. There's hand sanitizer by the door. Otherwise, it's pretty relaxed. read more

So Andy did a good job on my nails. He definitely gets 5 stars. But the chaotic story is, I came in on Monday and a woman, I don't know her name, did a terrible job on my nails. She tried to correct the mistakes I pointed out and said she didn't mind fixing them (while also calling me picky), but after a dozen times asking her to fix things I just accepted it and left with CHUNKY, UNEVEN nails all pointing different ways and with weird LINES on the ends. I came back, calmly and politely asking for them to just take them off and get a refund. The owner was upset and reluctant, understandably, but was willing to give the refund. The lady who did the bad nails was also in agreement about the refund, but not without being frantic and rude beyond belief. She denied that there was anything wrong with the nails. Then Andy pulled me from that chaos, had me sit down and fixed my nails to my liking. He saw all the mistakes and after each reshaping he asked if I was happy with it. Now here's the part I'm still salty about. On the first day I asked the lady who did the bad nails how much I'm supposed to tip (I don't get my nails done often) and she said... I kid you not... $20... so I gave her that, I don't even know why I gave her a tip at all. When I came back to get my nails fixed I let her keep it, whatever, and after learning that $10 is a more reasonable tip I gave that to Andy. Thank you Andy for your kindness and talent. My nails are super cute and I will show them to all my friends. read more

When arriving my expectations weren't high as the Shopping Center needs a refresh and the salon isn't glamorous but the staff is so lovely. This is my second time in - my first was a pedicure which was great but the polish didn't hold up well. Not a deal breaker, a polish change is easy. Today I popped in for a gel nail polish change - the tech went over and beyond - trimmed, shaped my nails and even cut a few of my hangnails. Not a great strip mall. Too much talking in-between the nail technicians = not peaceful and obtrusive questions from the nail techs working on me on multiple occasions. I just moved to the area about 1 1/2months ago. I tried 2 nail salons and neither met my satisfaction. The first nail tech was outright rude and applied the polish on so thick I had to go somewhere else to have the polish changed and applied correctly. The second salon, well the nail tech was not as rude but our personalities did not jive and she too applied the polish on way to thick after I asked to please apply thin coats. I came to Fantasy Nails to have the polish corrected and then came back again for a manicure and pedicure. Ivy was amazing! The rest of the staff as well were amazing. They were all friendly and everyone entering the shop was greeted with a friendly and warm welcome. Ivy trimmed down my nails and cleaned up my cuticles just has I requested. She is talented and created a beautiful design on my nails and did not apply the polish on to thick. The pedicure was just as amazing. Also, it didn't smell like straight chemicals, which made the whole experience much more relaxing for me. The only downside was that I got the deluxe pedicure and my friend got the classic, and I didn't notice a significant difference between my pedicure and hers. Three of us ladies went to get mani/pedis on a Saturday afternoon. We made an appt for 3:00. We had to wait at least 10 min before they even got someone to get us into our pedi chairs. Then we had to wait an additional 10-20 (depending on which person we were) for someone to start our pedicure. The seemingly long wait time when we had an appt was our only complaint. The people were thorough, the classic pedicure included all the features that I look for from the leg scrub, foot exfoliation, leg massage, massage chairs, and quality polish application. I got a classic manicure as well and my manicurist was thorough but quick. My sis-in-law said that overall it was the best nail salon experience she's ever had. We would definitely return. read more
