I was nearby for an appointment and saw that this nail salon was 5 mins away so I thought I'd try my luck at a walk in session. For gel mani and gel pedi, it's around $90 without tip. I got there and they immediately started on me and it was awesome. Tammy was the one that did my service, she ended up helping me pick out my color and when I made suggestions and comments, she didn't give any attitude and was super open to them and I absolutely love that. It makes customers feel comfortable and I will come back because she was friendly and accommodating. She also had my gel mani and gel pedi done in under 1.5 hours which is pretty good. We booked a gel manicure and a classic manicure and a classic pedicure and a deluxe pedicure for my daughter and I. The person who did the classic manicure and deluxe pedicure for me was done with both in 35 minutes. There was no massage, my nails are uneven and he cut me. My daughter's gel manicure looked ok but he didn't do the cuticles. Her pedicure was good. It was done by someone else. The spa was nice and seemed clean but the service was sub par and the work was not representative of the description of each service. Even with appointments my technician rushed through my service. Happy to report that the vibe and overall atmosphere of TM has greatly improved. After an over four-year hiatus, I took my chances here before an event when my other nail salon was overbooked due to a big holiday weekend. What a difference. Very flexible, welcoming, and customer-centric. Spent a therapeutic hour for their most deluxe pedicure and emerged with lovely gel French nails that lasted an entire month - probably longer if I'd have let them. Happy to be able to come back here when it's so close to our home, and enjoy a peach iced tea from Carolina Nutrition a couple doors down while getting prettied by such kind souls. So I was a regular here but this last time that I went, the gentleman that worked out me cut me and my nail got infected almost immediately after on my flight out of town. Once I got to my hotel room, it was discolored. The gentleman that cut me even acknowledged the bleeding and just let it go. It hurt so bad and I had to get antibiotics for it. This is the first nail shop I've ever been to where they didn't use the clipper for cuticles at all nor did he even put the cuticle gel in my toes. He said he did my cuticles with the drill which I've never in my life heard of. The quickest pedicure I've ever got. All he did was basically cut file and polish. Which I could of done at home. I was in Raleigh for 3 weeks. Went to one salon for SNS nails and had a bad experience. Check my other reviews for that one. After one week my nails were in such bad shape I had to have them redone and stopped in TM because it was close to where I was. The salon is beautiful. They took me as a walkin and sat me right away. The atmosphere was positive. The technician was warm and friendly. She did an excellent job, adding an extra clear layer to the ends of my nails. I didn't ask for this but I assume it was for extra strength because I'd told her I had a bad manicure and they had been breaking. My nails were beautiful when she was finished. Clean edges, smooth nail surface, great shaping and very professionally done. Ten days later and they still look perfect! Too bad I don't live in Raleigh or this would be my new regular salon! read more

TM took a last-minute appointment for four, and even let us push it back when we were running late. Lexi did mine with gel, and she made them look just like the inspiration photo I showed her. Let me start by saying I am a stroke survivor. I mention that because I have some residual effects that I still deal with. My technician Sherry was very accommodating. The only reason I couldn't give a full five stars is because there was a lot of discussion with another technician beside her (in there native tongue; not English which they spoke very well) When I asked if there was a problem, they quickly smiled, dispersed and said everything was fine. If I were insecure due to my condition, I might have left feeling bad. Fortunately the work was exceptional and the price was competitive and Sherry redeemed herself later by thanking me and telling me to return if anything happens to my nails and she'd fix them. I came in today with a friend, in hopes to get a mani/pedi that was quick and decently priced. Ironically I got neither of those things...And yet I still really enjoyed myself. From start the finish the experience took a little over two hours, most of that was spent waiting for a nail tech to get to us. Luckily we were immediately offered wine which has a habit of taking the edge off of long waits. They were also playing Wreck-It-Ralph for some children, so naturally I found myself sipping wine and watching a movie with five year olds....It was surprisingly nice. And strange. When the nail tech got to me he was very nice. He did a great job on the pedi and even allowed me to have two colors (a pink and a glitter) without charging me extra like some other salons. When it was time for my nails I had decided on Shellac, which was applied quickly and thoroughly. I only managed to find one spot that was missed and he happily re-did it without any problem. The Shellac looks like it will hold up well, but of course I will update my review if I have any trouble with the Shellac quality over the next two weeks. My bill ended up being about $60 pre-tip which is pretty pricey, but worth it for a very occasional splurge. TIP: Bring cash or check, they don't like to do credit cards, but will if you try to leave to find an ATM. A strange policy in this time and age, but not too much trouble. read more

Incredibly enough, my pedicure has still lasted close to 2 months from then. The last pedicure I got, in contrast, chipped within a day despite the high price tag. Do not go to this salon.!!! I went for a pedicure and the manicurist that I had did not wrap my gel polish to soak off and used the nail file that is battery operated. I told him it was burn my nails and he continued to do it even after I said multiple time that it was hurting. He didn't even turn down the speed of the file. Then I said I do not want the pedicure that this was very uncomfortable. And.... they made me pay $10 for polish removal with bits still left on!!! Horrible business !!! The water was scolding hot when she put my feet in...without checking the water. They offered a $5 discount off 150 bill for this complete nightmare. This was the quickest pedicure I ever got. They didn't give foot massage two mins and never touched my heels at all.. They never ask me if I need a drink like they did others. The reason my wife got the gift certificate in the first place was because the young man who did her nails was 30mins later and had her waiting.. Now I come in and get the worst service I ever got at a foot spa this says a lot about the culture of the spa, quality and time of customer is not important.
