It is apparent that the entire staff care deeply not only for their clients, but for one another and the business as a whole. The result is a beautiful nail salon where all are welcomed and treated like family. Laura has a lifetime of experience in nail art and her expertise is reflected in her work. This is one of the only nail salons in the Triangle where you can get a fill in for gel powder, making the prices much more reasonable and entire process more healthy for your nails. The entire staff's dedication to their art and extraordinary customer service is reflected in an exceptionally clean and relaxing environment. I have been going to this salon for 5 years now and absolutely love it. My go to people are Lara/ Hannah / Tommy. They do the best job. I think their pricing is fair. If I get something extra I always ask how much it is before I do it. They don't have prices posted on a board but they have a list of pricing at each station - JUST ask them for it. I have had the best experience here with Joanne. She always does an incredible job on my nails, they last forever (I got a full set of acrylic and do gel polish over them, so I do fill and color Change once a month), and she takes time to make sure they really look perfect. I just bring in pictures, and she makes it happen. If I could, I'd give Joanne 50 out of 5 stars. My lower number is simply for some experiences with the owner. She does not post her pricing anywhere, so it's a true crap-shoot about what anything may cost. My friend got her nails done here (by the owner), full set with accent nail arts, and was charged something wild like 150 or 165? She couldn't argue bc prices weren't posted anywhere and it was told to her after it was done. I was there too, also got a full set with accent nails (no art) and I think I was charged 80 (Joanne did them - they were my wedding nails and perfect!). I also just feel like other staff seem to be overbooked and do not seem to get many breaks. I have also witnessed the owner schedule when staff was clearly saying they could not take a client. Finally, I asked for wine once and it was soured and had floaters in it. Now I stick to canned soda. I will come back to update with photos! read more

POV: My mom just moved back to NC so we were looking for a new regular nail salon. The first day we went in with no appointment they told us to wait in until 3pm. It was 2:45pm, so that was fine. We are standing because at the entrance there is nowhere to sit. She keeps telling us to get a color I explained we did not know where her colors were at because we have never been there before. She tells us and we go choose. We wait until 3:10/3:15 before we get up and leave. All nail techs were going at a snails pace with no end in sight on their current customers. We ask for an appointment for the next day and she tells us 2pm. Next day: We are about 8 minutes late but we get there. We wait about 10 minutes to actually get to the pedicure throne. They ask what pedicure we want. I said two hot rocks please. On the menu it was marked $40 and we both added gel. The staff were very nice and our feet look and feel great so far. I also needed a fill so I wait another 10 minutes for a different nail tech. He was hilarious and my nails also look great but it came to $57 and he used dip powder ...I am still confused about that part because we were putting colored gel on top? Total for the experience: $171 Hot rock pedi with gel: $57x2 Gel fill with dip?: $57 20% tip: $34 Actual total: $217 Wowwww I live in Phoenix and the fill is waaay over priced. The pedicures make sense but still don't add up. $17 extra for gel??? Also that evening my toes were visibly burned from the UV light. Red itchy and uncomfortable until I woke up the next day. Bottom line: I still thinks it is very nice salon and the staff are friendly BUT if you are going here be very clear about what you want and ask for a breakdown of pricing. read more

This is the SECOND time I sat beside a lady who talked on the phone during my service in this salon. I came to relax, and even though there are other chairs they put me right beside her. I feel so upset that I can't enjoy the massage and I'm just typing this review. It's a shame they won't ask people to refrain from talking on the phone. I really needed this time to relax and it's ruined. I feel bad for the lady doing the service, she is working hard. Won't ever be back, though, and will tell everyone I know in the Country Club across the street to steer clear. The salon is also grossly dilapidated. Agree with another reviewer. The prices are not clear, and they don't speak English. She told me there was 10 added for powder polish removal (33+10) but then at the checkout counter she added another 10 for the same thing (43+10). So seems like I was overcharged. I tried to obtain an explanation, but it was totally unclear. Also my prior experience with Powder polish had 4 layers of powder color versus here with just 2 layers of powder color and 2 layers of Gel UV as a clear topcoat. I now pick powder because it is healthier to not have the UV exposure involved, so this ended up being a confusing mix. read more

I love being at the salon, and I love Laura! I requested "red bottom" nails like Louboutin heels, and they were amazing! I got so many compliments. This will probably be my first and last time here. For starters, no one greeted me when I walked in the door. I know that's small, but great customer service goes a long way. I got a classic pedicure (soak, clean, cut, sugar scrub) which cost $31! My jaw almost dropped when I saw the price. I'm from Washington, DC, and I've never paid this much for a pedi. Lastly, they are unsanitary. The tools used to cut and clean my feet did not come out of a sanitary packet. Further, after she finished using it on my feet she soaked the tools in my DIRTY WATER to clean them. I'm just praying I don't get an infection at this point. I really like this place. They are very quick, without sacrificing workmanship. I always get gel polish when I come. The last time I got it, it lasted 3 weeks without cracking. The ONLY reason I took it off was because my nails had grown so much They do have drinks, but you only get it if you ask for it. John does and awesome job on pedicures. I also appreciate that they speak English and engage you in conversation. They try to remember your name when they come in. I would suggest calling ahead or making an appointment. I'm checking this place out because I've only been able to find a place to do my gel nails well but not a pedicure. It's located in the shopping center along with the Earthfare grocery store and a few restaurants. I've been in this lot on a weekend and attempted to park so I'm glad I'm trying it on a weekday morning. I'm here now getting a pedicure from a guy who seems uninterested in not only performing the job but just being here in general. We don't have to become best buds and talk for hours but a little interaction or at least eye contact wouldn't hurt. Instead, I'm having the pleasure of watching him look at himself in the neighboring mirror. It's not busy at all yet he's rushed through most of the service. Maybe he has tons of appointments lined up after me? Probably not. I will, however, say the massage (especially with the lukewarm...can't quite call them hot, rocks) is nice. This must be his favorite part of the pedicure and I'm ok with that! This is all interesting since I'm watching another patron receive the exact opposite treatment during her pedicure. Her experience is full of engagement, lots of care and attention. Maybe I should come back and ask for that guy. read more

Laura stands by lies, her team does horrible work, they lie to you about prices then when you are ready to check out your bill is way different(higher) than was was told or in their menu of services. The head guy under Laura bitches and complains about the designs or styles of nails u want, HATES GLITTER, hates to do extra although you are paying for the service you have requested. Pure make you feel like you are asking too much for what you re paying for. Very Rude! Tommy has no clue about nails or feet! Let me start by saying the stars correlate with the staff member. I've been here twice. First time was with Laura, who was great and would get 4 stars. Second time was with John, who gets one star. Reasons below: 1. The instruments (cuticle cutter, etc.) were taken out of a dirty, dusty drawer, not sanitized before or after use. Ahm....no thanks! 2. Before I even got comfy in my chair, John asked me if I was married, if I had a hot date that night, why I don't have kids, and who I voted for. Not cool. He then told me we would look cute together. Blegh! 3. I had to point out multiple times where my cuticles needed further trimming, where the polish was too far from the skin, etc. I could have done the job just as well on myself. 4. The entire process took 2 hours (gel filling). Honestly, I was creeped out and annoyed at the end. I would not return (unless someone could guarantee I got Laura, who seems to always have appts and be busy. Tons of other salons in the area, so I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Yesterday I took a friend here for a pedicure because of the past great experiences. We had other commitment later that evening and the nail technician asked if we would like manicures too, I responded that we had to leave at 6:30 (it was 5:30 when we sat in the pedicure chair) so I didn't think we had time. That was probably my biggest mistake. I noticed that other nail technicians had offered their clients a drink (water, soda, or wine) and we were not offered this (previously it was asked before we sat in the chair). I asked the nail technician and he then offered us something, but it was awkward. Typically pedicures usually take around 45 minutes (at least, depending on the quality) and this nail tech rushed through everything in 19 minutes flat! I was literally sitting under the toenail dryer in less than twenty minutes?! My "hot stone massage" didn't even last 4 minutes. There was no lotion/oil applied to my feet at the end as many pedicures do? My friend mentioned that she did not get the same exfoliating as I did, and we both got the same pedicure. After I get home I inspect my toes/feet/polish... my feet felt rougher than when I went into the salon, my large toe is significantly longer on one foot than on the other, I have polish on my cuticles. With so many nail salons in the area, I'll be going elsewhere next time. read more

This is, by far, is the best salon I've been to! Lots of bright, natural light, and some of the world's kindest people. Everyone is so friendly! I come at least once a month for a gel mani/pedi--which comes with a hot stone foot massage! The polish always lasts way longer than I expect it to! I usually get in quickly, but if I come during busy hours, I'm always happy to wait, because their work is worth it. They'll even get you a glass of wine or water while you wait. I usually see a newer guy, Peter, I think he said his name was. He's very soft spoken, considerate, and gentle; asking your option of the color or if the water is a comfortable temperature.
