I have been a patron of Wealth Massage for years, but my experience at the sister location, U Massage, was an unacceptable display of being treated as a non-factor. I arrived on time for my 1:15 PM appointment and was proactively taken to a couples' room. When I noted the size of the room, Mia explicitly told me that the couples' room was being used as the singles' room for the day. Halfway through my session, I was interrupted and told I had to switch to a single room because a couple had arrived. Mind you a room that I had questioned from the onset. I was expected to get up mid-massage, wrap myself in a sheet while in my underwear, while Mia hurriedly gathered my belongings. A massage is a vulnerable and restorative experience; by forcing me to move mid-session, they completely stripped away the privacy and relaxation I paid for. What is most upsetting is the fact that management clearly thought this was an acceptable way to treat a paying customer. They chose to violate my privacy to fix their own error. Instead of asking the arriving couple to wait or finding an alternative, they "decided" my comfort was secondary. It is telling that they were happy to accept and of course expectant to receive my full payment and expect a tip despite treating me as disposable. I am rating this 2 stars specifically because the issue isn't just a bad experience--it is the fact that they clearly thought it was okay to treat me this way. This is a lesson in who and what is valued and It's obvious they could care less about losing a long-term customer, otherwise, they never would have handled the situation this way. But they have officially lost one. No amount of technical skill can make up for a business that devalues its customers and prioritizes them in such a rude and absurd manner.

I did enjoy mentioning to my good friend how I was feeling a little chilly and I believe it might've been the owner who walked a heated blanket over to me and asked while I was getting my pedicure if I needed a blanket that was the icing on the cake and why I feel if you need a pick me up you should definitely step into this amazing space. I will always make sure I check into relax foot spa when I am in Raleigh. I would have liked the nail technician to have asked if the water was OK and I felt that the cold water shifted my experience following the massage a bit however, the blanket and the additional heated water added it to my pedicure experience made it better.

I am always so tense, my muscles are almost always in knots, and I've recently started a fairly strenuous workout regime, so I've been coming here for deep tissue massages. They have done wonders for me. I leave feeling like a new person! Also, the spa is gorgeous and the employees are super friendly. There are lots of amenities for you to use while you wait for your time slot, or after you are done. I've genuinely enjoyed my experiences here. So why 4/5? Well, as others have mentioned it is damn near impossible to make a reservation unless you are there in person; calling in a reservation takes forever. Also, you can only get a reservation Monday-Thursday if you are not staying at the hotel. Again, as others mentioned, the online booking tool is ridiculously inefficient. You have to click on each day to find an opening. Who has time for that? That said, they do open up to non-guests the day of IF the hotel guests don't fill all the slots. But how do you even plan ahead for that? If they upgrade the booking tool and perhaps open up a few slots for non - hotel guests on weekends (before the weekend of), this would easily be 5 stars.
