I met the owner, Carol at their Wilson NC location and have been going to her there for about 2 years. BEST customer service and most fantastic salon I have EVER used, and I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years! When Carol told me they were opening a new salon in CARY, I was so excited for them, and was more than willing to make the drive from Nashville, NC to Cary to continue having her as my nail stylist!!! SHE IS SO WORTH the hour drive! The salon is exceptionally beautiful, and clean, the staff there is welcoming, and goes out of their way to make your spa experience everything it should be - totally pampered! Carol is extremely talented and an amazing nail artist; there hasn't been anything I have asked for on my nails that she can't do! I have been getting the GEL X on my nails for the last 3 months, and while it may cost just a bit more, it is sooooooo totally worth it. My nails look as good 3-4 weeks later as they did the day I left the salon. I also tried out their eyelash extension service. I had never ever tried anything like that before. Carol was very skilled in this service, and the entire experience was relaxing, and the lashes turned out wonderful - and very natural looking. I will be a repeat customer for this service for sure! first and foremost, the service and people there are very nice. It was also very easy to make an appointment over the phone. The place when i walked in was very clean and didn't have any nail or ammonia smell that some nail salons have. I had a regular basic mani/pedi which the service was great. cut, filed and cuticle care was great no roughness and left both my hands and feet nicely cleaned up; However, during the service I kept making it clear I did not want gel for i'm not a fan and prefer natural. I understand it is a business and gel is more money but I did not want that polish which ended up leaving the rest of the service a bit awkward. The polish job looked great but after 4 days it began to bubble, crack and one nail had the polish cleanly peel off. ( now I have used DND polish before and have gotten at least 2-3 weeks before i need another service. I'm not rough on my hands, use gloves when cleaning, and my nails are short) Luckily I had a similar polish at home and i was able to fix it. Maybe if I gotten the gels as it was being pushed during the service, they would have taken care of it better, but I definitely can tell it was a product issue for regular nails. My friend and I came in as walk-ins around 11 AM on a Friday. I wanted a gel manicure and she wanted a gel pedicure. They had large boards with all the nail color options and you could easily just point and select what you wanted. The place felt very clean and modern, they also offer you a alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. However, with that being said the staff seemed a bit disorganized but I'm only assuming that because I was a walk-in as opposed to an appointment. They had me sit and wait at a nail station for about 5-10 minutes until one of the nail techs arrived. Then they had me move to a different station where another nail tech did my nails. I am only knocking off two stars because this nail tech broke skin and cut me on three different occasions when cutting my cuticles. I understand one or twice but three times, ouch. I could tell he was getting frustrated each time it happened and it was getting in his head. Other than that we were in and out within 45 minutes and my manicure did last two weeks without chipping. Located in Crossroads near BurgerFi, this tucked away nail salon was a great time! I received a gift card for my birthday and treated myself to the Heaven pedicure - a whopping $115. I came first thing on a Sunday morning and they were actually busy right off the bat. The employees were great and really friendly. The pedicure itself started off with some heated mitts, socks, and neck wrap. Everything else seemed to be pretty standard, except for a collagen foot sock that they put on you for a while. I suppose it's all of the products that they use which make the pedicure expensive. I am glad I did it and experienced it, but for me, I honestly am ok with regular pedicures! One thing I noticed about this nail salon is that they polish exceptionally well. I booked an appointment for my sister an I. We did pedicures and nails. The pedis were great but then we ended up waiting for a while to get our nails done. That would have been ok but not after everything else that happened. The guy doing my nails said I needed to remove the ones I had. Instead of soaking them off, he peeled them off. He ripped on of my nails back to my nail bed, and laughed about it. Then proceeded to put some medication on it without asking or telling me what it was. He did such a horrible job on them after that. They are lumpy, too wide and thin. They are not going to last. My sisters nails took FOREVER. I am not sure why since the coffin shape she wanted was an actual shape of the tips they put on her. The girls jumps up in the middle of doing hers to go work on someone else. That would have been ok if someone would have explained what was going on before doing it. This all cost me almost $300. Absolutely NOT worth the money! Horrible experience overall! read more

Worst nail experience of my life. THEY HAVE GERMAN COCKROACHES, I saw one crawling around and tried to point it out discreetly but she ignored me. The little brown German cockroaches aren't like the big Palmetto bugs, if you see one it means there's an infestation. Also the lady doing my manicure and pedicure made me bleed two separate times on my toes and my nails and didn't apologize. She also filed my nails unevenly and I had to request her to fix them multiple times. read more

I called to check walk in availability for gel polish removal then regular polish manicure. They were able to take me quickly, which was nice, but rushed through the entire process. I had to ask my nail tech to remove the gel polish by my nail bed that she missed and tried to paint over. I asked for rounded almond shaped nails and my tech just buffed the corners.... So the shape is now rounded square like it's 2010. The paint job goes over my cuticles and on the side of the skin. I tipped 20% but will never be coming back here. read more

It's not a terrible ambiance but they made me feel uncomfortable & mostly irritated (not everyone in the staff) My friend planned a birthday mani & pedi. I can't complain about the pedi it was great but the manicure was terrible. I showed a picture it was very simple almond shape nails (I asked for them to be short and more oval) acrylic applications was terrible had a few not filled with acrylic spots mentioned them but not all of them were covered. The design was nothing like the picture (AGAIN a simple design I promise). I kept the nails as they were for my birthday and by yesterday night I had to remove all the gel and had to file them again to make sure everything was even had two nails longer than the rest and some not even the same shape. Today ended up applying the gel myself and making a similar designs to what I asked (I was able to achieve the simple design I needed & I really don't do nails or work with gel that's how basic this was) was more satisfied with my result (even with a few imperfections) than the day I left the salon. So if you're going for a pedi go for it but definitely not recommend getting a full set. read more

I was heading to grab a late lunch at BurgerFi and was approached by a friendly face inviting my to the salon based on a Grand Opening special that they have running. I'd just gotten my nails done at another salon so I asked for a brochure of their services. Upon entering the salon, I was blown away by their beautiful decor and friendly staff. What was initially a brochure gathering turned into me actually going for their Volcano Pedicure .. I am haVe found a neeeeed replacement to my previously deemed salon home. Oh! I also did get my burger that one of the staff members grabbed for me so that I could enjoy it while getting my toes done.. top notch customer service! Thank you to all the staff! Often, at least the nail salons I have been to, the nail technicians are pretty rude, the atmosphere is kind of loud and chemical smelling, they don't use top of the line products... Any of you vibing with this? I gave them three dollars out of four dollars for cost, they were a little bit more expensive then other salons, but I feel like it was worth it if you were in for the entire immersive experience. The atmosphere was great, the place is new,so very clean. Lots of chairs and stations available. The reward program is pretty spectacular. And the customer service was dazzling. This was my 3rd time in this salon. The first 2 times were fine but this time I had very bad service. The woman that did my pedicure and started my manicure was extremely rough on my hands and feet. She was bending my toes and fingers in ways that hurt. And she seemed frustrated when I said "Ow that hurts". She did a terrible job on painting my toes with normal polish - I could've done a better job. She painted the first clear coat of gel polish on my finger nails and they are all over my skin. Even the girl that finished painting them mentioned how bad they were to another employee. She cut my skin the the point where it almost started bleeding. They also charged me for cat eye polish after they said they weren't going to because it didn't turn out like a cat eye. I always tip over 20% but this time I was not convinced. Not a bad experience, just underwhelmed. The staff does not really pay attention to you unless your a regular client. I tipped well over 20% both times and they never thanked me, despite the poor paint job and foot massage being mediocre at best. The first nail tech was a young woman..(nice enough) but she couldn't paint within the lines to save her life. I actually felt bad for her and didn't want to hurt her feelings. The second visit I waited 35 minutes after having an appointment while a mother and her daughter came in and were seated ahead of me and offered a libation. I just sat and waited while they were both started on for service. Eventually a man came over and communicated to them that the tech had an appointment waiting and they would have to wait. He was overly apologetic to them. I received none of this hospitality service. Overall I really wanted to like it here, because it's close to my home; but it is just another nail salon that doesn't particularly care for providing an memorable customer service experience. read more

I hate giving one star bc the service I received from my actual technician was great, but two of the ladies who worked at the salon really made me feel uncomfortable. I agree with others that the salon is beautiful. Very spacious and clean. That said, I was not impressed with the fact that their grand opening banner tells of 50% "cash back" which is what got me in the door to try out a new salon for a gel manicure. Only after my service was started did they inform me that the "cash back" was for a voucher that has to be used within 7 days. I don't consider a voucher cash back and I think a seven day window is rather small for most people when it comes to salon services. As far as customer service, I was approached twice throughout my manicure asking if I'd like to have my eyebrows done. I politely declined and then both ladies separately continuted to tell me that my eyebrows were "uneven" and looked strange bc there are areas where the hair doesn't grow in. I am not unaware of my eyebrows - they have thin areas bc I over-plucked as a teenager but when I fill them in (which today I did not) they look fine. I didn't feel the need to share any of that with them and felt like my "no, thank you" should suffice and not garner insults about my appearance. They also each asked multiple times if I was going to have more children and even told my five year old who was with me that I needed to have a boy once she told them she has two sisters. When I was checking out, I was asked again by one of the ladies whether I would have a boy and I told her we are in the adoption process - which we are, but I had not felt the need to share that previously when asked about my kids. She then asked "Oh, how much do they charge you?" That was enough for me to know I won't be back. I realize there are cultural differences that could perhaps be part of the explanation for some of the behavior, but I spent a lot of time feeling very uncomfortable while in this salon. I don't have a desire to spend close to $40 on a manicure only to leave feeling the opposite of relaxed. I don't say any of this to be rude. I am sharing my true experience for others to be aware of and also in hopes that the owner/staff will read it and hopefully adjust their customer service to ensure they are being respectful to their clientele. read more

My two friends and I planned a girl's weekend, one of our friends lives in North Carolina, I traveled from Massachusetts and another friend came from California. We schedule a pedicure/manicure as one of the weekend activities. Both of my friends had great service and the salon was very clean so that is the reason for the two stars. Unfortunately, the person that did my pedicure and manicure was terrible. I paid for a butter pedicure as did my friends. My friends got a nice massage as was described in the brochure but my person rushed through the whole pedicure and didn't bother with the massage until the person working on my friend's pedicure told her that she needed to do it. My person then got annoyed and took a small dab of the butter lotion and splattered it on my legs and with minimal effort, moved it around my legs. Then, she was supposed to put a hot towel over my legs. She got the hot towel and squeezed out the burning water on my legs causing me to flinch and move my legs out of the tub. She didn't say sorry, she didn't say anything. She completed my pedicure in a rush and moved onto the manicure. She was grumpy the whole time. Since I hadn't originally planned to do a manicure (my friends and I decided to do it while we were getting our pedicures), I hadn't picked out a color. I thought I would be able to grab a color but she didn't give me an opportunity to get a color, she just used clear. I was basically done with both services and waited 20+ minutes for my friends to finish their nice and relaxing mani/pedi. If you get the right person, I think this place would be great but if you get the person that did my nails, you might go home with burns. read more
