Threading has been the only means of eyebrow hair removal that I have used for the last 6 years. I was a regular at Chandni's in Cary until I found Beautify and decided to try it out because of closer proximity and comparable prices. My first experience was great and I was very pleased with the results and less amount of travel time and money spent. Sadly, my second experience was not so hot, probably because a different person threaded my brows. The right side wasn't so bad, but the left side was shaped so poorly with too much taken off and random stray hairs left behind that I felt a sense of panic after leaving the salon and inspected it more thoroughly in my car mirror. Once I got home, I immediately went to my tweezers and tried to remedy the results. Since I had a good first experience and the left brow was still salvageable, I give Beautify an overall 3 stars. However, I will say that I will probably go back to being a Chandni's regular because I got consistently reliable service from them... and I didn't ever feel like Joey in that one Friends episodes where his eyebrows were so uneven that it looked like a mama caterpillar chasing a baby caterpillar. Bottom line: If you choose to go to Beautify (which I wouldn't necessarily discourage since I only went twice), be sure to be specific with what you want and the thickness you like instead of being completely-- and maybe a bit naively-- trusting like I was! read more

I've been visiting this place for two years without any issues, and everyone has always been friendly. Recently, though, there's been a problem with a staff member named Rose. Today, she spoke to me very aggressively and previously asked my mom if she was pregnant, which was quite rude since my mom had told her no. Despite that, Rose continued to comment on how big her belly was, laughing and looking at her coworkers. I decided to overlook it and not leave a review, but today was the last straw. While I was paying with another staff member, Rose instructed her client to go ahead of me while I searched my bag for my card. When I looked up, she glared at me and asked aggressively if I was ready. I said yes, paid, and then she muttered something under her breath as her coworker laughed. This made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I believe Rose should not treat clients this way, and there needs to be someone who treats customers better. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was a rough experience and I'd hate for someone else to learn the hard way. While the woman who worked on me was very kind, the technique was terrible. I was left with a ton of unwanted hair, and spots that I didn't want touched are now bare. None of the places that were threaded had the hair fully removed, so I was left with almost ingrown looking hairs everywhere that are not even long enough to tweeze out. My brows are in terrible shape and it will take several weeks to get them back to the condition they were originally in. read more

I was shopping in Crossroads when I came across this place... looked up reviews on Yelp and everyone was absolutely correct, this place was great! I went during the week so it was not busy at all. Customer service was great and the lady who did my eyebrows was very welcoming and helpful. She told me before she did anything, which I appreciated. I thought they did an OK job of threading, not exactly the shape I was looking for for my brows (they made them more angular than I like) but it wasn't bad. If you like angular rather than rounded brows I would recommend or maybe let them know the shape you want (I didn't so maybe that's why I got a diff shape than I wanted). I used to love it when Sarita was here she's usually my go to. The other lady that was here was very rude when I had nicely asked her if she could remove the same gloves she had previously used with the client before me and said " I sanitize my gloves" which she did not because I was sitting waiting for my turn and watched her finish with the client take money and then got on her cell phone all with the same gloves she had "sanitized".
