I have been coming here for eyelash extensions and to color correct and go a little bigger on my microbladed eyebrows for a few months now. I had a consultation with Sonya and we worked out a strategy to achieve what I wanted for my brows. I got them done twice in VA, both several years ago and they had started to fade a bluish/greenish brown from the dark brown they had been. This is actually the second local salon I visited for this service, the first told me I'd need to have them lasered off before starting over. Sonya evaluated and said she could fix them no problem. The first session we worked on the color correction and kept the shape mostly the same. The second session (a month later) we finalized the color and went a little bigger on the shape. The final session (a month later) we finished the shape and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The process was easy, I felt informed every step of the way and Sonya is clearly an expect in her craft. As mentioned above, I have also been going to this salon for my eyelashes for a few months with Maria. She is also an expert at her craft and I always love my lashes. I have been very happy with my experience at Epo Beauty and I'm looking forward to seeing the new space. read more

The new location is beautiful. The esthetician Belle did an outstanding job. She explained the different lash choices to me prior to starting. I've had lashes for years and usually just went with the flow getting classic lashes. But this time I got hybrids and they will be my go to from now on. read more

Ok, Pro Tip, this is in the same building as the CVS. It's the door on the opposite side of the CVS. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, it's Suite 207. Very pretty waiting room. Deidre did a great job, very easy to be around, which is good because you are there for an hour or two depending on what service you are having done. I love how my lash extensions look, love the no mascara, WHAT IS THIS MAGIC? People say the lashes are easy and they sure are, just brush them in the morning and you're set to jet. There is a special wash for your lashes that I do 1-2 times a week - easy.... Thanks Deidre! read more

Just got my lashes and eyebrow wax done here today! I made my lash appt online and then per the representatives recommendation I called to confirm they received the appointment. Everything was set and I appreciate being able to make an appointment without having to provide credit card info! They were very accommodating considering I got lashes done by another vendor they still were able to see me. I had an eyebrow wax appointment scheduled someplace else but it didn't work out for me to get them done...anyway day of I was able to add on an eyebrow wax! Walked out feeling like a million bucks. If you visit this spot I recommend seeing Nicole (aka Nikki) you won't be disappointed read more

Updated from 1 star to 5 stars. I appreciate the salon reaching out and letting me have more time for my appointment. The total time came out to 1 hour and 45 minutes which came out still a bit under what full set appointments last (in my experience) but my eyelashes were much fuller and closer to what I usually see with hybrids so I was okay with that. It was annoying having to drive out again but again, I should've spoken up the first time when I saw that my full set appointment only lasted an hour. I will say that since moving here from California, this is the first lash salon (I've been to three in the last two months) where the final product looked like how it used to look after going to my main place. I definitely would recommend this place. read more

Completely relaxing while getting lashes done. Highly recommend. The vibe is quiet and professional.

Mariam has done my lashes several times and they have always come out beautifully! I especially love how knowledgeable she is about lashes. Specifically, how to take care of them and to maintain lash retention. I highly recommend her! You'll love the way your lashes look! read more

Service here was excellent from everyone in the salon! The receptionist was super helpful in explaining the order of events and my technician, Nicole, gave me various options for my lash extensions. She did a great job of applying my lashes- I barely felt her working at all. I've gotten lash extensions done in the past and have felt stinging/pin pricking but I didn't feel any of this while with her! We had a great conversation while she worked on my lashes. They turned out beautiful- I think I would ask for C curl size 11 all over instead of adding 12's in (which is what she did) but that's just personal preference! read more

This is a review for the first set I received less than two weeks ago. I wore a mask because I know the COVID numbers have been steadily going up and I'm definitely concerned about the latest variant. Unfortunately the technician didn't agree and complained about working around the mask. Um, the mask is not on my eyes. She didn't put on enough lashes and said that's because it's a partial. However I got a partial fill today and received way more lashes than the first set. After less than 2 weeks, most of the original set had fallen off. After 1-2 days lashes on both eyes were discombobulated. I've been getting lashes on and off for the last 10 years and haven't received a new set this sloppy ever. This is just a review of my first visit. My second visit was much better. Word of advice if you're trying to avoid getting COVID, maybe clarify that the tech will be wearing a mask before booking an appointment. read more

I have been going to Epo Beauty for lash extensions every 2 weeks for years and it is just a part of my normal routine now! I can't imagine not having lash extensions anymore. The lashes really lift up the look of my eyes and it makes getting ready in the morning so much faster. I prefer a more natural look but they also have options for fuller and longer lashes (perfect for holidays or special occasions). No one has ever asked me if I have extensions, and when it does come up in conversation people will say "I thought you just had really nice lashes!" The first time you go, your lash technician will walk you through the different options and help you choose what is best for you. There are different lash curl shapes (J and C), different styles (classic, hybrid, and volume), and different lash lengths. I get the C curl, classic (which are all individual lashes), and a mix of the 10mm and 11mm lengths. Sometimes I'll switch it up if I want a longer or fuller look. My favorite lash technician at Epo is Megan! She is one of the lash veterans there. I have been going to her since I started getting extensions years ago. I really appreciate how gentle and thorough she is. My lashes always look amazing after. I would highly recommend going to her! She does get booked out so I would recommend making an appointment a few weeks in advance. I go in every 2 weeks because I like my lashes looking fresh but I know other people can go 3 or 4 weeks between appointments. There are different prices depending on the amount of time between your appointments. All their prices are listed on their website! The one downside to lash extensions, is you have to be mindful of not getting your lashes too wet in the shower. Exposing lashes to direct water or a lot of steam makes them fall out faster. One tip is lightly blow-drying them after showering (on the low cool setting). I also have bad allergies sometimes, so I have to be careful about not rubbing my eyes and lashes too much. I haven't tried any of their other services yet, but I love how they do offer other things and I will definitely try out a facial soon! read more

Epo beauty is the best!! They are so sweet and so professional. Sonya - the owner - clearly really values her customers and the experience they have. I have reevieved the lash lift and tint. The tint didn't work well cus I had dark lashes, but the lift now looks great! Go try it for yourself. They really know that they are doing and want you to get the best results. I am already looking into their many other services like facials! Thanks EPO! read more

I went in for a lash lift and tint and I am so happy with how they came out! The office is very clean and the staff there is so welcoming and professional. Sonya did my lashes and they look amazing. I changed my initial review due to the amazing customer service efforts of Sonya and the wonderful job Bella did on my lashes. After my review she called and offered to fix the issue which is more than I can say for most places. They worked with my schedule to bring me in at a time convenient for me. And today Bella did my lashes. The whole experience was wonderful. She was careful and really listened to my needs. Afterwards Sonya came in to speak with me personally which again is not your normal customer service but well beyond. They truly did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend them for all of your lash needs. read more

Highly recommend. EPO earns every one of those 5 stars, and they should be given even more. An amazing, relaxing, beautiful suite that perfectly tends to beauty needs given short shrift at other locations. I don't have to stress about my brows ever again! I went for a lash lift with EPO Beauty. They did a great job. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I love it. My lashes are curled, which makes applying a little mascara so easy. I'll definitely be back. It's been two weeks and I still have lots of curl in my lashes, which is helpful for anyone with stubborn Asian eyelashes. This also has alleviated wearing any lash extensions, which is giving my lashes a chance to thicken back up. read more

Magdelana has been doing my lashes for a year now. She has a great eye for shaping and does excellent work making sure the lash and extension are properly bonded. I love that she keeps a card for each client and records notes on preferences of shape, lash length and gauge. This is where I send my friends! As a note, I've been wearing extensions since 2012 and have lived in major cities with phenomenal services. EPO's service and quality stand up to any of the high end services on Oak Street in Chicago. read more

AWFUL, SO BAD, DON'T GO HERE!! I decided to take advantage of a special that Epo lashes was having, lash lift and tint for $69. Went in on Tuesday and she did the routine lift and tint for me taking before and after pics. While it was processing it was very uncomfortable and my eyes were burning the entire hour I was laying there. I mentioned that it burns a little bit and she said it's the glue but every time she added the solution it burned a little more. Afterwards she brushed my lashes and send me my way while they were still wet. The moment I got in the car, the lashes had dried and looked awful. They were crimped and the curl was just too tight. I drove away but couldn't make it home without calling or wanting to go back. So I did, I called and explained the look, she laughed and said all her customers love the extra curl and when I was it out it will be better....well it was NOT. she told me to come in next week to "fix" it. Well I did. The curl is a little less tight but my lashes are going all different directions and it's permed that way so I can't just brush them in place. I brushed them down but they go back to looking crazy. She gave me my money back and some lash food from Korea that all in Korean. I'm not putting that on my eyes. I don't what the ingredients are. Long story short she ruined my lashes and all she did was give me my money back and tell me other customers love the extra curl. I'll attach a pic of the curl. Let me know if you like that...I don't think anyone does. read more

My last review of Epo was in 2015 so I figured it was time for an update! It's crazy to think I've had eyelash extensions since 2015 but hey, it's a lifestyle now. Recently, Epo started offering an eyelash tint and lift special. For those ladies who already have naturally long, but straight lashes this is a great option! I can't ever say no to a good deal so I made an appointment immediately. If you've had eyelash extensions, you already know the deal: you are just relaxing while laying down with your eyes closed. The whole process took about an hour, and I could hear the timer going off several times while my technician sat near by and kept an eye on me. I will say, during the processing, you will smell chemicals. It reminded me of the smell when I get my hair dyed (I like to refer to these eyelash lifts as "eyelash perms"). HOWEVER, there was no pain whatsoever. I took a look at another of the reviews on this page and noticed the customer mentioned pain from the solution getting into her eyes. If you stay awake for the hour, and keep your eyes firmly shut, there is no danger of this happening. Also, just like a hair perm, the first 24 hours after are extremely important--I had to make sure no water got on my lashes and made sure my lashes were all going the same direction with no tangles. To be honest, I was extremely unconvinced that this would work as my eyelashes have been so stubborn my whole life. I was so shocked once I saw the drastic results. I got these done one month ago and they still are low-maintenance (wake up, boom, ready!) and look good as new as they are expected to last two months. I think I've found my new addiction--thanks again Epo for introducing me! read more

EDIT: The owner called me less than 12 hours after I wrote this review, she was so kind and apologetic and we discussed the miscommunication that happened today. She explained the situation professionally without accusation and assured me that the salon is run truthfully and honestly and there was no intention of "scamming" anyone. I was frustrated with how this was handled earlier today, but the owner is seriously so kind and it made me respect this salon a lot. The lashes look great, and it's even better that it's a place run professionally and honestly. ----------------------------------- 2 stars because I like the way the lashes look. But boy is this place a scam. I live in Florida and I was here for a week to visit family. I get eyelash extensions done in Florida, but I knew I was pushing 2 weeks, so I decided to call and schedule for a fill so I wouldn't be that far gone on my eyelash schedule. When I called, I asked what the price would be and the receptionist said I would be charged for a touch up. Come time to check out, and they charge me $85 for a touch up!? I said that it was nearly full price, and I had only gone less than 2 weeks since my last fill. The girls at the front told me that $14 is subtracted from the price if you come from a different salon. This was NOT communicated to me when I called, and I definitely would not have scheduled an appointment had I known it was almost double the price of what they had initially said. The lashes look good, but not worth basically a full set when I was only getting a touch up. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. read more

I have been getting my lashes done here for about 6 months and I am hooked! Sonya always makes my lashes look divine. I get a lash lift and tint and it really makes my eyes pop. People compliment them all the time. It only takes about an hour and there is no pain. It's very relaxing too! I also have gotten two facials from Melanie and I now get one pretty much every month! She is very knowledgeable and I have really seen a difference in my skin. My face is so fresh and hydrated after I leave and I love the all natural organic products she uses. I am very picky about my beauty services, but I would recommend Epo Beauty to anyone! read more

On my second visit is where things went south. My lash tech was nice, no complaints there. She noticed that I did not have much to fill as my eyelashes do not grow very fast at all (autoimmune issue). Appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. She thought I shouldn't have to pay the full price of the service since she did not really have much to fill and went to share this with the manager (tiny blonde woman). Mgr was rude to the lash tech and didn't want to hear her opinion and told her (in front of me) full price no rebates. Do not recommend places who don't care about their clients. My new lash tech only charges for my fills as I need them. read more

First time ever for lashes. Bella was my technician and she was gentle and fine, but I wish she had taken the time to explain a little about the lashes, what the sizes mean, the different looks you can achieve, etc. I had to pull out every little bit of information and I didn't event know all that I should ask! We settled for a size and she did a fine job. I think they were too long but that's what I chose. My second visit was with someone else who ended up giving me an uneven look....that is the first thing my hairdresser said the next day! Personally I don't care for sharing a room with someone else getting their lashes done. I had to listen to someone other technician's music and her chatty client. For what this cost and for how long you have to be there, I'd prefer privacy read more

I have to say - I never write reviews but felt compelled to after visiting EPO Beauty. Let me start off by saying I have been an off and on client of theirs with various technicians for several years (5 to be exact!) and I have only been slightly disappointed once. I let them know and they fit me in for an appointment that same day and I left as I usually do - super happy. I've been to a handful of technicians and THEY ARE ALL GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO! (and super nice!) Now, allow me to "review" Magdalena. Wow. She is amazing. I book her for appointments as far in advance as possible to make sure my lashes are always done by her - and perfect. I am picky - very picky - but she has yet to disappoint. She knows exactly the way to give you what you want (even if your description is less than exact) and my lashes are amazing. Every time they are amazing. It almost makes me tear up - dramatic, I know - but no joke. I feel so glam with them on. Getting your lashes done is a luxury and I love that I never have to worry about wasting money when I see Maggie. I almost hate to review her because I'm scared she'll get too booked (and she stays booked, FYI - so schedule in advance!) - but really - if you're on the fence about getting lashes - go to EPO Beauty and treat yo'self! I promise you won't regret it. read more

I'm new to eyelash extensions, this was my first time trying them. Since getting my full set I have returned for touch ups! I was in love the first time I came here to get a full set, my lashes looked amazing. I felt like I had doll eyes! My technician was Bella. She did very little explaining of what was going on though and my consultation lasted about 30 seconds. As a first timer, I do expect to receive more guidance and more information. However, I have witnessed other technicians giving clients plenty of information and lengthier consultations so I guess it just depends on the person. Because I loved the way these lashes look I returned for a touch up, though I didn't ask for Bella and had someone different. I did not like my lashes at all with this other technician and had significant fallout less than a week later among other issues. I called EPO Lashes and without hesitation they scheduled me ASAP for a re-do with my original tech (Bella) free of charge. As always Bella did a fantastic job, she really takes her time and is quite meticulous. I was very happy this time around. The techs do work with you to achieve the look you want. For instance for my touch up I asked to have curlier lashes with longer lashes towards the corners and Bella delivered! Lashes here do not come cheap but they are SO worth it! I feel like they've changed my life! Hop on the groupon deal while you can! read more

I posted a while back about my lash lift experience. Though a lot lower maintenance, it did not give me the look I wanted in pictures. My lashes are naturally short so my new opened up eyes were only noticeable in person. Thus, I went back for a lash extension and I cannot be happier with how I look. They really nailed he natural look I was going for, the process was smooth, and I did not have any issues. I will say that the price is pretty average but the quality is really good. I have saved so much time with these lash extensions in the mornings. I wish they had student discount to make it more affordable for students but aside from that, they are amazing. I'm planning to come back every month for a refill. Love them all, great people, even better service. read more
